I would like to inform you about the History of bitcoin price. I think this post can be a pleasure for the newbie bitcoin investor who has invested recently in bitcoin like me. I am going to give you a chart of bitcoin price from 2010.

Time price per BTC Importent information

July 2010 $0.08 The price grew 900% only In five days, rising from $0.008 to $0.08 for 1 bitcoin.
Feb – April 2011 $1.00 In that time Bitcoin took parity with US dollar.
8th July 2011 $31.00 At this time top of first "bubble", followed by the first price drop.
Dec 2011 $2.00 At this time goes minimum after few months (huge dump)
Jan 2012 $3.41
March 2012 $4.95 over 46,000 BTC stolen by Linode Hacked
July 2012 $13.31 Bitcoin Savings and trust halts payments.
Jan 2013 $13.31
Feb 2013 $20.22 Starts some pump.
July 2013 $100.15 great pump.
Jan 2014 $772 700% up within 6 months.
July 2014 $582 Some down again.
Jan 2015 $272 Huge down.
July 2015 $289.68
Jan 2016 $432.17 some up again.
July 2016 $688.50
Jan 2017 $1020.47 Starting golden age of bitcoin.
July 2017 $2592.41 proved a golden age.

From this chart, we can guess the future of Bitcoin price. We should not worried about the present bitcoin price. I think 2018 or 2020 will become a diamond age of bitcoin. What is thinking? you can also post your opinion on this thread.

I think this view of the future price of bitcoins is not shared by all. Crowds of people are prone to panic and rush to sell their bitcoins...

It is important to take into account that there is no guarantee that the behavior observed in a market in previous years does not imply that the pattern is called to repeat itself over and over again, and this is especially valid in a market so new and diametrically different from the others as the bitcoin market is. All the current conditions that prevail in the environment around the bitcoin have nothing to do with what happened several years ago, and I think these are times of being cautious instead of overflowing with excessive optimism.

There is no guarantee that bitcoin prices will have a recurring rhythm. it means the chart is repeated as we predicted. But now for the novice investor, I think this is not an option to release assets at current prices. will only make the price down. so it's good to keep your assets at the best price or buy a few more to add your assets.

It clearly shows that whatever price dip it has faced, but it has settled in a new ATH.Definitely this chart would give confidence to newbies who actually get panic on seeing today's market situation and who were targeted the most by big whales.

I never depend on the price of bitcoin from the past. We should focus right now and it's future prices. Remember we have alot of users and Bitcoin is in the mainstream right now. It will get alot of action this year and incoming years.

As an investor, we need to take all kinds of factors into consideration, and turn the judgment of the market into a deep learning and thinking.

The previous price is only for reference, but some of the previous prices are meaningless, and the belief may be correct! But still! Objective and dispassionate analysis.

Bitcoin is repeating its history. It goes up and down and that what it is. But at the end if your wise to examine you will end up winning by buying it low and of course sell it high. Holding would be better at this time.

What we know is that the history is still not enough to create a pattern, only that after a big pump is followed for a big dump and the trends are upward, which is really good for those who are suffering a great loss for buying in the middle of the hype. It´s very comforting seeing the wallet going up 2 digits in a day and very disheartening watch it going down for days. But if we look at the trends we will understand them if we do not panic and sell like the majority of the small fish that are losing money, that will curse crypto and will be back in the next pump to lose more money in the following dump, we will see golden days ahead and great valor to our hold coins.

The bitcoin price has always been volatile, so as a bitcoin holder, I did not worry too much about the cut and I'll hold it until the price picks up.

the bitcoin history was the last year of december 2017 bitcoin's bit higher than it was when it came to 2018 suddenly dropped its value because many people were using and out of their bitcoin holding the profit of another bitcoin holder last year when they were selling their bitcoin

Very impressive information. It's my first time to see the time line and pricing in one chart. Past performance doesn't guarantee future but history repeats sometimes. Let wait and see.

Wow that was a rally interesting breakdown of Bitcoin from the beginning. I think the key strategy to be learned from that is just to Buy and Hold them and then buy more on dips and corrections. Sell only when you really want to convert to something else of value such as a house, jewellery etc.

This is the golden age fellas right now, I bet it's gonna rise to extraordinary prices it may reach 30 or 40k by the end by next year so to all the buyers profit right now. By seeing this chart I only feel regret actuallu cauz it shows me ho much many could I have made if I invested even a little when it was created. I could have been a millionaire by investing some dollars.

I just have noticed every Wednesday philippine time bitcoin value goes up!! Also with the new in China cryptocurrency is being ban I think it has to do with it since alot of chinese investors are from China... But I got a feeling after Chinese New Year bitcoin will rise again.. Since alot of chinese people are holding theor money for that special event

Markets are healthy. It's normal for prices to go down. This is because of profit taking of course. But in the end, Bitcoin will go no where but up. HODL and forget for 10 years.

Usually there is a January dip every year. And I agree with your statement. This dump will help BTC to start rocketing again and more people will join to the party. I believe BTC will go near to 30000$ limit in the end of March.

I am not sure your list of BTC prices is accurate, I remember to have bought Bitcoins in early 2014 for 800$ or so and this after that it had already dropped from its all time high which was over 1000$...

Mate it was written on the history of bitcoin's price so without a doubt that those prices are accurate. Its not a speculation, its not a guess but its all well documented if you'll trace back the time of the past years about the price of bitcoin.

And we are experiencing almost the same dip from before and the rapid growth of bitcoin is also in the history so if you are an investor from 2014 you will still say that there's a big profit you can take to your bitcoin.

very interesting, bitcoin has undergone a very long journey. and to this day bitcoin is able to maintain its value. I'm sure bitcoin will have a very high value, and much sought after by everybody like a treasure.

I learned a lot from bitcoin, bitcoin like a human who wants to reach success, because its noble purpose, become world currency and can give benefit to every its user.

I also think with what you post, I strongly believe that bitcoin will always bring glory, although now the price is down but the price is still high in comparison to 2017 at the peak of bitcoin increase, we just need to be patient waiting for the price increase bitcoin which will become like a diamond as you said.

The bitcoin price history shows that bitcoin will accumulate to grow this year. I think these days we can see a temporary view of down price of bitcoin from last year. Price decline maybe of the bad news that got people panic into selling. So, let's see what price ahead this upcoming months maybe we can view soon price will sky rocket.

those who are the first holder of bitcoin are certifird millionaire for sure with a starting price of less than a cents it surge to an imagined 19k+$. current price may consolidate longer and with more and more people are aware of bitcoin there is no doubt it would break its all timr high again

From the history of bitcoin prices we can assume that younger people are the ideal investors. It takes a couple of years before someone can really benefit investing. But nonetheless, elders could also invest. They just need to be positive.

right now Bitcoin seems to be taking a stand for higher ground so I've been holding my Bitcoin and altcoin up until now and my forecast in mid-year Bitcoin will rise even higher

looking at the history of bitcoin prices from year to year did lead to price increases, but I think that's not a bitter bitcoin price to the front, bitcoin prices depend on buyers. so, the more people know about bitcoin and are interested in buying bitcoin, then this will be the bitcoin price factor going up at the end of the year or the next few years. and the more bad news about bitcoin that causes people to be afraid to buy bitcoin, this bitcoin factor will decrease in price

Excellent post for perspective. Historical charts show more. Every steep price rise succumbs to a correction just that the USD value varies from time to time.

10% at $13000 would bite harder than 20% at $100

Well based on your historical data. Every earliest month of the year, bitcoin has its lowest value then value goes up before the year ends. So better buy and hold btc now before it goes up again.

yes you are right, we should be able to see what market is safe and has a very high bitcoin trading volume, because if the market is already inactive it will be dangerous or more secure when buying bitcoin then save it in your personal wallet as in coinbase or blockchain.info and do not open the market so as not to easily panic.

The bitcoin price at the end of 2017 is very good, but its impact in early 2018, bitcoin fell very low to 50% more, hopefully in the next few months bitcoin could exceed the highest price in 2017.

This is actually just a small phenomenon in Bitcoin prices.

Seeing the history of Bitcoin prices from year to year leads to price increases, but I think that's not a bitter bitter price, but Bitcoin's price depends on the buyer.

the more people know about Bitcoin and are interested in buying Bitcoin, then this will be a Bitcoin price factor that goes up at the end of the year or a few years down the line.

And the bad news is more about Bitcoin that causes people to be afraid to buy Bitcoin, the factor that lowers the price of Bitcoin.

You know that trading has some rules by which the prices cou be predicted! And crypto trading is not the exeption) Since the BTC price reached some rate (in my opinion it was about the 400-500$ per BTC) the market was joined by many professional traders and therefore could be predicted more by using different trading technics, f.e. Japanese candlesticks! The fact thast the trade of futures for Btc started makes me more confident about the BTC prices in the future!)

IMO, holding Bitcoin is good for the long term. It is normal for price to fluctuate and having correction, hence we do not need to worry about short term dip.

True! To those who are here for long term investment, they are not nervous when the price fall fown because they know and believe what is meant by hodl. Only those who hodls bitcoin will have a possibility to earn big profit.

The way I see it, the answers to rid all these panic sellers off of their worries are lying everywhere. As much as people learn in the past in other things, it can also be the way to go when it comes with bitcoins. And to be honest, I really think that if only this panic sellers spent more time in reading and knowing more about the thing they have put their money on before investing, they never would have experienced these losses. And even if they did, they never would have panic sold. They really have no one to blame other than themselves for the things that has been happening to them.

Although I say that there is not that much to worry about when it comes to the prices of bitcoins today, there is still something that we obviously need to take into consideration. What I am actually talking about is that even though the percentage of all the corrections that happened to bitcoins in the past years compared to this day isn't that alarming yet, the time frame that takes place for this correction compared to the past corrections is something that we haven't seen before. The crash is just undeniably too fast. But even so, for me, it really is not an enough reason to lose faith in bitcoins. I am not sharing this to spread fud. I just want to be thorough with my observation and share it. But whatever the case is, the decision will still be in the hands of the people whether they wanna gamble with bitcoins(continue doing so) or not(to stop).

Market price will down and again price will increase, its reality in market. First price bitcoin in market 0.8$ and once a time it price was 19500$ near. Now bitcoin price is 9000$ near. So not panic this history, hold your btc some time and see market price.

Corrections do take place. This is a nature with crypto currencies. Wise move would be, buy when the value of concern coin you wish to buy goes cheap / lower and sell when the value increases. Every January and February growth trend is really spoken and known to everyone as this corrections occur in these months every year.

But if you look at the data in coinmarketcap.com, the values of all coins especially bitcoin's value has gone up. The percentage of increment was higher than the loss occured during corrections. So best buy more coins and gather now and hold back the coins you have already in place.

The only conclusion I can have is that Bitcoin will survive for long time despite the ups and downs but no one can predict what will happen next whether it will surge or it will go down.
For sure it will rise, but when? I can't tell from the table you gave to us.

So we can get a clue that bitcoin price is low at the beginning of yearand it is high at themid to end of the year so we can invest on the bitcoin according to that.But I don't think bitcoin will follow the orice charts anymore so itis better to buy the bitcoin now.

Thanks for sharing this statistics mate. bitcoin really show its votality from $0.08 to its highest hit it really shows and proved that btc is not a scam or bubble. That's why bitcoin trading and investing are not for greed people cuz when you invest in btc u must completely understand its votality. Long term patience,hodling is a must cuz panic selling in bitcoin has no place and it can lead you to failed investment.

I remember these days, then there were not too many stock exchanges, and there was not much information. People were selling face-to-face Bitcoin buying. Paypal was used, tbt.
