Title: Re: web miners Post by: marcovaldo on August 30, 2013, 02:03:50 PM absolutely not worth your time. they use CPU to mine = worst possible mining method No, it is written: Note: Usage of the webminer is currently deprecated. For CPU mining, you can get far better results by using cpuminer. Meaning that they are even lower than CPU mining :P And it is not possible to use it any longer (deprecated). And it is not possible to use it any longer (deprecated). Seems ECO friendly then Title: Re: web miners Post by: marcovaldo on August 30, 2013, 02:08:34 PM I believe these use Javascript, lol Yes: Quote For best performance, you should be running a 64-bit Java Virtual Machine and a 64-bit browser. Title: Re: web miners Post by: Welsh on August 30, 2013, 02:19:15 PM Even though you may have a 64 bit browser & 64 bit Java, they are really not worth your time. You will most likely be using more electricity than these actually generate. The minimum withdraw for Bitgenerate is something like 0.1 or 0.01, however, this would take a very long time to generate. You would be better off investing in mining equipment if you would like to get into the mining business, even then there is a big risk of not breaking even.
