Post by: Flamaicon on January 30, 2018, 11:42:59 AM
Tomorrow Kodak will start the rules of ICO KodaKCoin.
When they notice it, some weeks ago, the stock Kodak Up 400% in 1 week, so, for me, its a sucecfull, and very promisses.
I want to join this ICO, and I believe big potential.
What do your think about it ?

I don't believe a ICO because I have an experience in ICO it is not make a profitable platform Everything should be decide in demands of the tokens. But we don't predict how it will develop in future market in current scenario many altcoins are failure in the market only few of the coins is successful in the crypto market. So I am always believe in coins.

I don't know if Kodak Coin is a good ICO to invest into. If professional photographers use it, maybe it has a chance to succeed. I don't know if they are going to be able to sell their photos like Cryptokitties...

When you look at the success of some of these crazy coins like Denta (developed for dentistry), do you really think dentists will adopt some open source block chain solution? the day dentists use blockchain it'll be what ever the norm crypto currency is, the same coins we buy our bread with.. look where this coin sits on coinmarketcap.

Now we have a large known company making one of these "targeted" coins, much more practical than say Denta, I can see this going higher than Denta simply because Kodak are developing it and they will have a working platform.

Comparing dentistry to photography may seem off, but they are both examples of a coin which targets a niche industry most of us couldn't care about (I'm happy to pay fiat to a dentist)

I am a totally agree with this, if a crappy coin like DEN, TRX pumps why not KODAK coin? They have a big company worldwide. I believe Kodak would launch more projects after this ICO. Definitely a buy coin.

With the research I have done, it is not actually Kodak who is making a play here.

They simply made a licence deal with a new company to use their name, in relation to management of image rights via crypto currency.

Not something I would but my hopes and dreams in.

I think every ICO made by well-known company is must-have ICO for everybody. Kodak is going to be successful one and I'm keeping my mind on putting some funds into it.

I dont see so much potential behind kodak because they dont have much experience with cryptocurrencies and all that stuff. The dont have any market experience here and I think the people will start to dump after the ICO and you can buy it below ICO price.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency technology trends are becoming increasingly hotter than ever.KodaKCoin will be a cryptocurrency dedicated to the photographer and camera enthusiasts. This is a real project of Kodak camera company. although I did not appreciate the feasibility of the project
but it is worth attention

Do we have even any information that would determine the future plans of this coin? I am a bit in doubt as to whether this coin is legit or not but to be honest Kodak was a giant from a bygone era of film photography and was not able to cope up with digital photography. I am pessimistic that this will bear fruit.

I Agree on this guy, I don't think KodakCoin will be successful but if they have a great platform to advertise then they need to show up. People needs to understand blockchain very well. Yes ICO is a big money to get profit but you need to be more specific on how you vizualize every coin in the marketcap. it must be unique or else you'll be shitcoin in the long run

Don't buy a coin only because a big company stands behind it!

It has a damn sight more benefit and actual use than a lot of the coins out there.  Tracking copyright and securing revenue from content sounds ideal use case for blockchain, compared to say banana sales or property rents, which have to bridge back to tangible world.

I'm really glad that the big corporations are starting to care and intend to release their own coin, but maybe they have not researched properly on their project when it has a bad idea and not really bring value to the community. I hope that large corporations that study cryptocurrency and blockchain should benefit the community because they only use coin when it benefits them.

Underwhelming news, opened to "accredited investors" only.  i.e. the same lot usually allowed in to stock market IPO.  They'll unlikely leave anything for the common folk.

I don't believe in it. Kodak in real Biz they're going to die soon as they can't fight against many competitors in their main market.
Their products haven't got anything new, no new tech too. Their strategy very poor recently.
How can just blockchain will make it great again? It is not magic.

This is a good news and we should all see this as another opportunity to invest into some good coin. Kdakcoin is to lead the way for others new company that may want to go into cryptocurrency.
Very soon most of the big companies are going to come into this market to raise fund if Kodak become successful. I do believe that bitcoin and blockchain technology is going somewhere based on this development.

I think that the main thing in this ico is the Kodak brand. I'm not sure that it has a direct relationship to the company. Yes, and Kodak himself is going through not the best of times.

This is just chain-washing.

This play validates the strength of cyypto from mainstream perspective. But it also adds more noise as punters try and work through all these new coins flooding our feeds to pick out decent investments.

really very interesting ICO Kodak Coin. at the same time, if I'm not mistaken, only the “accredited investor”,
with an annual income of over $ 200,000, can participate.
and for ordinary people, as I understand it, at ICO, access is denied.

Kodakcoin is a joke .. Their main intent of the blockchain is to verify the ownership of an online photograph through essentially a digital notary service. Comparing hashes of the original file against any future versions or versions claiming to be the "authentic" original.

News flash -- several blockchains already have this service! Namely, DeepOnion. they have had the exact same service for several months -- since shortly after it's inception. It's called DeepVault & it works great. Plus, you can use it on any type of digital file; not just photos. It does in fact have a lot of uses.

Like many others have said, Kodak is a dying company that has been struggling for many years. They announced this blockchain and for the first time in a long time their stock prices increased substantially. This is their last ditch effort to innovate -- something they should have done years ago when people stopped buying cameras and started using cell phones to take pictures.

Will the coin do well? Oddly enough, I believe it will. But it's just because people are star blinded by a "legitimate" company starting their own blockchain -- albeit, with outdated features.

Offering a decentralised solution and then saying you must have $200k+ to invest is stupid, why is non existent regulation important?
Every one should get a go in a true decentralised solution.

Each to their own, they've lost my respect regardless.

Yea the core thing to see here is the reason they are doing it. They are not even trying to be fair and support decentralization as other cryptocurrencies. So even though I understand you are angry or/and sad, it is their choice and they are eglible to do as they like.

Indeed I had the same thinking when I saw the Kodakcoin : DeepVault is already doing that perfectly and as you said Namely (even if I don't know this one) does it too. So why would they create a blockchain or a token for only that purpose ? I don't know what they are thinking about.

But, I will invest in because I'm sure that there will be a huge pump and then I will sell everything :)

Kodak or ICO's like Telegram have high market cap which is not really likely to x10. They can have huge dumps and can be manipulated by devs.

of course, nobody can foresee exactly how things will happen to the company, but I just wish them good luck

It seems to me that she just needs ICO because the company has started to fade, she needs new fuel, since there has been too little activity from her recently, and a lot of companies have outstripped her for several years ahead!
