I have been using it for over 12 months without issue. There is also the function to trade within the wallet via SHAPESHIFT because Exodus also supports Bitcoin, Dash, Litecoin along with about 8 or 10 other altcoins. They describe their system as a Multi asset wallet Security is good also because you have access to the private keys and can run a scheduled backup of the system also.
