This is one of the decent investment but you should forgot to invest Bitcoin because this make huge profit in long term investment. In current market most the competitors are know the potential in Bitcoin so you should try to invest in Bitcoin is the best investment. I am suggest to this coin If you feel uncomfortable to invest in this coin you should maintain your current portfolio.

I think you forgot to invest in BTC. There should be BTC in a reasonable investment plan.
If you want to pursue higher profits, you can invest in some ICO, but ICO is very risky.

Nice portfolio, you're opportunist investor with huge fund, great combination. Most people will say don't forget to buy btc, eth and also ltc and that's true, otherwise this is the right moment to buy back, the price has low position but stable volume. I think you should not invest in many coin, specially from ICO project, too risky. Just like that and good luck to you.

The investment of TRAC, XBY, WTC can be replaced by BTC.
Other investment options are reasonably reasonable. I am very optimistic about your investment plan. You should be able to make a good profit (long-term holding).

So I spent a few days researching and trying to adjust my portfolio. And I came to the conclusion that I want a more risky portfolio with the potential of high reward.

This is my portfolio now - and I won`t touch it for atleast 6 months:

Neo - 32%

XLM - 15%

Ven - 14%

ICX - 13%

NAS - 11%

HPB - 8%

XBY - 7%

I like to say that this is the first portfolio I like without corrections!

NEO is the 2018 coin, HPB is very stable, as are the others.

Why did you remove the Dragon from the portfolio? This is a very promising platform. They make their incubator and some ICO is only with payment DRGN. If you want less stable, but with more income - look at SelfKey. It's just a revolution. Many are against this project. But their plans and implementation are fantastic.

Is there a reason why you don't have BTC, ETH, LTC, ... in your portfolio ?
NEO and XLM are quite good and have potential, all the others are, in my eyes, risky.

The only reason is that I believe coins such as NEO has a higher growth potential. I know many of these coins are more risky than ETH, but I have only invested money that I can afford to lose. That being said, I am planning to buy some crypto each month - and I believe most of that will be ETH.

Same thoughts.

You can also afford to invest money with bitcoin but the only thing that you will get is fewer since bitcoin's price is very much higher than those. So the answer to the question that you don't have BTC is because you are only believing to ETH, NEO and other altcoin as well but not with bitcoin?

For your future purchases I suggest you to take a look at XMR, the best privacy coin by far and RDN (Raiden Network) since it's one of the scaling solutions for Ethereum.

Do a bit of research on both of those coins I suggested and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I think it's a solid hold portfolio.  Of the coins you have, I'd rank OMG as the 'weakest' of the coins.  What I mean is that it's low risk but you also have a low chance of a x3 or x4 return.  Since you have ICX, I think you should look into AION as they're part of the Blockchain Interoperability Alliance with ICX, but they have a lower market cap and haven't released their main-net nor their test-net... so they have a higher chance to pop.

I think you should add a privacy based coin into your portfolio.  If you want low risk, then add Zcash or Monero, but if you want high return then I (of course) recommend DeepOnion.  I strongly believe 2018 will be the year governments choose what side they're on in terms of crypto.  Many will choose to fight it and thus privacy will become increasingly important.

Finally, you might want to look into AI and 'wisdom of the crowd' coins like Cindicator or DeepBrain Chain.

You should add BTC,ETH in your portfolio remember this Coin are the main source of all currencies in the marketcap. Anyways you got a nice coin there hold till the bull month season and sell afterwards. Buy when it dips Goodluck!

Bitcoin is relatively cheap right now so even if the profits with bitcoin will be less than with other coins it seems worthwhile to invest in some bitcoin, you will get easy profits without too much risk, the rest of his portfolio is fine, but I will prefer to make safer investments especially since he invested a sum of money that is considerable to me.

Investors who cannot see this advantage will not invest to bitcoin. It's their decision not to choose bitcoin and it's their idea to see other altcoins that they think which will give them profits in the future. I'm not forcing someone to invest to bitcoin but when I see people who doesn't include bitcoin to their portfolio I'm very curious on why they managed to choose the new ones and ignoring the original and starter of the whole cryptocurrency market.
