Title: Reddcoin
Post by: greetje64 on January 30, 2018, 03:12:11 PM

Hello,
I sent my Reddcoins from my exchange to my Trezor wallet, but unfortunately I sent the Reddcoins to a bitcoin address from my Trezor wallet.
Now my Reddcoins are nowhere to be seen.
Can somebody help me please?

Help!

Does Trezor even support Reddcoins? I think not.

I find it weird that the exchange allowed a transaction from a blockchain that has nothing to do with Bitcoin. I understand how people mistakenly send their real Bitcoin to BCash because they use the same address format, but apparently Reddcoin has their own address format which begins with an R, which is why im confused how the exchange sent money from an address that begins with an R from one blockchain into another that begins with an 1 and sent it as valid.

Can you post the transaction id from a blockchain site? But chances are you lost the money.

But how ? ussualy when i put wrong address and want to do transaction the exchanger will have pop up msg say that the deposit address is wrong or something. Try wait 24 hours and see the rdd back to your wallet again or not. If not say bye to your balance.

This is the message I received from Litebit

Litebit is not actually an exchange. They are functioning more like traditional brokers, you send the instruction to them and they work it out for you on the actual exchanges. That could explain the absence of the pop-up window.

However, people from Litebit should know this and they themselves should be unable to make an invalid transfer. They have a good support, try calling them, just keep in mind they are in Netherlands and check the working hours on their web page.

Reddcoin is the social currency that enriches peoples social lives and makes digital currency easy for the general public . It is a profitable coin .

Exchanger did not ask for confirmation? It should have wrote that the address is not correct, wait a little, the transaction can be rejected.

It says that my reddcoins arrived in my extern wallet. But they are not in my extern wallet and they didn't return to Litebit.

Now they say I have to put my private key from my Trezor wallet into my reddcoin wallet and then I will receive my reddcoins.

I have no idea how??????

I believe you already lost your RDD base on their reply. This exchange might be honest or not because if they are vigilant, they know that every wallet address of every coin has its own or special initial letter or number on the beginning of their address.
