     I would like a general opinion of my portfolio and if you feel I should get rid of some coin

You are missing the lead coin of all and that is bitcoin. Are you sure that you don't want to hold bitcoin? or you already had it and you didn't include it to the list?

The only few coins which are in my opinion you should start selling it off is only XRP and XVG.

XVG is more on a hype coin and while XRP isn't decentralized but if you are happy with that, still decision will depend on you.

I'd also sell off XVG and XRP for some BTC, Verge is just a pump and dump coin and XRP is centralized. Both coins also have a very high supply.

To little STRAT, too little ZRX, balance some of the XLM on ZRX and STRAT for sure.

but overall you have quite decent picks, so good job on that. Just try and spread the more evenly and dont have such a big bag. One last thing, I dont see any BTC, you should at least be holding 10% in BTC.

XRB, LEND, OMG have much better outlook  and/or product than many in your list.
I would cut down on XRP/XVG/Xspec since all of those got multiple hundred % gains already and should be moving sideways, if not even correct further for the foreseeable future.
XLM is good but 50% of your portfolio is a no go for me, weight it down imo, its not like it can explode out of nowhere far more, it already did that the last months.
That is ofcourse if you bought recently and you re not stuck with pre-January pricing in which case I guess stick out and just consider adding some positions in proposed coins.
p.s. depending on what you re looking may also look into some more like Salt, NEBL (both nearing the end of their correction) and NEO(which wouldnt surprise me if it has the best performance from all top10 coins in 2018).
p.s. I would also add in some low-cap wild cards like ELIX & ADST. GL!

Thanks everyone. I plan to convert XVG back to BTC soon. The % portfolio that i have put in here is based on the current market value. Should I be putting the % in terms of initial USD investment?

I like your choice of altcoins in your portfolio except the xrp coin. I would rather sell it and buy some bitcoins or another sets of ethereum coin to add in your portfolio. Goodluck to your portfolio. May you have more profit ahead.

Calculations and re-basing is done on actual current market value usually. Thats also a good point right there, look to take profits and rebalance your portfolio weekly/monthly/quarterly(whichever you prefer). Perhaps even invest the excess in new coins/risky but high reward ICOs along the way. Another good point is having an amount available in BTC so you can take advantage of market dips and get positions in coins you trust undervalued, which you cant do if all your money is into alts already.

Move strat to ETH, I don't really think holding such a coin is worth it.

Nice to see that you have diversed and have heavily loaded up on XLM . Hope you loaded before the recent pump. Between have a look at Vechain and Quantstamp .Quantstamp is an extremely promising project

Where is base coin: BTC ? Why half your portfolio is occupied by STELLAR (XLM)?
I would increase the percentage of the following coins: STRAT, ZRX.
And also i would add ETC, EOS, ZEC.

i suggest that you add an allocation for eth, ltc, waves, and strat.
you can also swap some xrp and xlm into btc and doge.

A nice portfolio, but too much XRP and XLM. There is absolutely no NEO, EOS, BNB. Stratis could have been more. Plus, several promising ones should be added - ISK, KhRB, KNS, AION. But the portfolio can be neatly changed selling something on pampas and buying other coins on drawdowns. The main thing is not to rush.

As others said its okay portfolio but its so annoying to see ripple in these portfolios. Its centralized coins has no chance of growing other than hype. Supply isnt fixed etc. I hate ripplr.

It isn't bad at all i do see you going kind of all in xlm which isn't a bad decision at all but i would suggest to further reduce waves from your portfolio i feel the hype it had is over now and soon it will end up being dead , it did try to compete eth but failed and now i don't see any other reason for it's existence, instead purchase ada it's any day better.

Waves is a great coin, DEX has a good chance to succeed and this year should be a good one, Eth is far from dead also, buying it before a correction = shit luck for you.

Wow XLM 47? So you dont keep any BTC?
I would get rid of XRP and XCG, add a little SYS and ETC maybe?
VEN and ICX are great choices, very solid projects.

XLM has made a lot of sense. I see a lot of positive comments about this project in the forum. I think your portfolio is beautiful

Seems like a lot of investors are wary of XRP. But a lot of them also were like that few months ago when it was trading below 20 cents. I think XRP is attractive investment for newcomers into cryptomarkets. Most newbies I know like to invest in the top 5 coins. Correct me if I am wrong, but thats the reason I like to hold XRP and no ethical/technical reason.

I think you should remove XRP your portfolio. You can add OmiseGO instead of XRP and buy more ethereum. Ethereum's price will be 3x end of the year.

Here everyone has his own opinion about the portfolio, in principle, there is a good coin for the future, of course, there are coins in which you should not believe or trust at all. That explains why you XSPEC, I think it does not have a future, well, the last three positions in general for an amateur.

It's long time you sell your ripple, it won't get up lately in my opinion. So do not hesitate get rid of it)) the rest is still to hold I guess

XRP wait for the local peak and sell.
ZEN, ZEC add, and of course keep bitcoin.
