2017 has being one of the phenomenal years for the people who had stayed invested till the last. It has given some of the unexpected rise during the last couple of months in 2017. Though the start of Jan 2018 was good the market kept moving up but during the later half the market started to sin and back to 10k levels at present.

How do you predict the 2018 year to be for bitcoin. Will it rise back like 2017 and if yes than what could lead to those rise and if no than what factors could be accounted for the downfall?

I think 2018 will end up being a 'good' year for bitcoin but nowhere comparable to 2017. I see bitcoin closing at a maximum of about 50k in 2018. I hope that I am wrong in that regard but I don't see another year of 10x or more in gains.

Of course. It will be so much better :). Actually I've heard of something in Facebook that bitcoin's race is just starting. So what are we going to do now? Pack your bags of bitcoins and HODL. And another thing of what I've heard, bitcoin might race to 350,000 USD this April! I am not hyping you guys but I'll be sure to hodl!

Technically it has all the potential in the world to be an even bigger year in 2018. One reason: Wall Street & Institutional Money. Those mother effers have their greedy little beady eyes locked in on this new market. They don't want it to go anywhere because they see how hard they can manipulate it since it is still in such an infancy stage without regulations.

So as they keep pouring billions in, we are seeing the market cap increase. But then when it drops by 50B in a day. that has to be them, just working the market like a marionette doll.

price-wise there are still a lot of investors coming in and the adoption is growing like always but we may not see the same boom for some time. and market needs some correction time before another rallying period starts. but that will happen eventually.

technology and adoption-wise, i believe that since we already have Lightning Network and it is growing fast with a good adoption rate, it can change a lot of things. it will open up a lot of possibilities for bitcoin which have not been possible before such as real-micro-payments, instant transactions, more incentive to run full nodes hence increasing the decentralization,...
and that is all great for bitcoin and you know it will also be reflected on the price.

maybe it can, if many people join and invest to bitcoin, and the price of bitcoin go up
i believe in 2018 bitcoin will be better then 2017

As far as the price, I don't think that we can surpassed 2017. Started with < $1K and ended up above $13K. So its impossible to see the price jump so high this year.


Probably around $30K-$40K in my view. Will all the governments other the world against bitcoin and crypto, will really hard to see it getting to $50K. But hey, everything is possible, I'm just trying to be realistic here as far as the price goes.

investor or not, for sure, everyone will remember the year of 2017 as the greatest year for all the cryptos existing that year. and because of the great hype that the cryptos have just achieved december last year, i pretty much think that this correction was already bound to happen. it's not that i am not surprised, it's just that, it really doesn't worry me that much since it is pretty obvious that this correction is truly healthy for bitcoins and all the other altcoins(beside the fact that it is also a great chance to buy cheap and gain a lot of profit later this year). but even so, i think the price rise of bitcoins for this year will be quite slower than the last year. maybe just enough to beat the all time high of bitcoin last year. but still, we can never really tell for sure. so we'll just have to wait and hope that whatever decisions we'd make, they will truly be the best ones.

I hope so, 2018 is better than 2017, but in the beginning of 2018 reality says another bitcoin creeps down slowly, maybe its a bad start and a very sweet end for all of us, hopefully and we just pray.

Bitcoin is very well developed in 2017, but we also see that by the end of 2017 Bitcoin has been declining and extending to early 2018, but by 2018 everything will be different because Bitcoin will increase. This year, sure enough, there will be more people getting profits from it

it's will be really hard for bircoin on this years. many country already make tied regulation for bitcoin user. i think bitcoin will not be free market on this year, this the challange for bitcoin developer, marketer and user to keep find a way to make bitcoin 100% accept by government in all country in the world.

I think and claim that yes this 2018 will be a better year for Bitcoin, rough start of course but with how fast the bitcoin community grows, and how big countries starting to adapt and accept Bitcoin. I am positive that Bitcoin will really have a great 2018.

As we all know bitcoin prices in 2017 are quite good but by the end of 2017 bitcoin has fallen, and until the beginning of 2018, bitcoin is experiencing a significant drop. I believe that in 2018 bitcoin will return and be of high value, I am sure that this year there will be more people getting profit from bitcoin.

Bitcoin's growth was very good in 2017. But in 2018 it was crashing.I believe it won't crash much. It'll grow higher and higher.

Yes i am agree with you 2017 was good for bitcoin but 2018 start very bad bitcoin 50% down but i think its good time to buy bitcoin and possible next 2 or 3 month it ll go again 30000$ and we ll make good profit .and possible all other crypto coins also go up  in mid of this year

Yes, indeed, some countries impose bans and want to regulate bitcoin and other crypto-currencies, but there are countries that on the contrary see the prospect of crypto-currencies and new technologies such as blockchaine and are ready to use, experiment and implement.

I honestly believe it will be a better year, mostly in terms of growth and market capitalization. I know 2017 was a really good year in percentage gain but we might not see that much percentage gain due to circumstance of price start and price ending. I think the growth will be more steady after the market corrects and people are going to proceed a little more conservatively than they have in the past.

I think in the middle of this year the price will rise even though the current price is not too good as the end of 2017.
but based on history in the previous year this year definitely bitcoin will have a very fantastic value.

This year will definitely be incredible for Bitcoin, regardless of what happens to the price. We'll see serious Segwit adoption, we'll see Lightning Network propagate, we'll see the highest influx of new money yet, we'll see derivatives take off and mature, we'll see regulations take root and the powers that be come to terms with a world where they cannot ignore Bitcoin anymore.

I have a sense of confidence that in 2018 the price of bitcoin will be stable even more stable in 2017, it can happen because at this time very many people are hunting bitcon while bitcoin availability is reduced then the price will be more up.

Indeed,2017 was a great year for Bitcoin. But for this year, it is a bit hard to determine since at thid moment, Bitcoin together with other cryotos are having a rough start in the market. But still  this year has just already began so there are more things to happen. But since we are referring to Bitcoin , surely there will be more good things to happen. Although at the beginning of the year we had experienced a considerable price decline, but now it looks stable and show a positive trend. I really like the bitcoin condition now and the year 2018 is still very long so we can see the price much higher than before. No, it is just the strategies of whales and some bad news happened in other countries that is why the price is dropping. But I am sure that bitcoin will recover again soon. Maybe in march or in mid of this year. I heard that what is happening now with bitcoin is normal and it will recover soon.

We don't see full year of 2018.But we have seen 2017 already.So we predict a big profite from our investment in this year.In new year many things can be happend in anytime.So we should wait and see the future what will happen.

But be it as it may, i still think that 2018 would be a good year also for the currency, considering the fact that it attained the height it did in 2017. why panic if bitcoin price going down? if we see the chart of bitcoin 4 years in a row. every in january the price always down.

at this year we were already faced down trend market even most of cryptocurrencies price still can't recover the price but because this is still January and i think too early to says bitcoin will surpassing the latest achievement or not but indeed there are possibility to bitcoin and altcoin will break all time high in this year

It will be better this year, initially the bitcoin price was started to drop during the 1stQ of 2018 so that many FUDder would panic and started to sell thinking about the market crash of bitcoin while the whales are started to laugh and gaining new higher position to buy bulk of bitcoin and causes the the high demand of bitcoin around the 3rd and 4th Q of 2018 that may rise up to 25k USD ATH.

Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoins? i think for me Yes, everyday would be great for bitcoin the price might go down but it would eventually go up to its maximum limits. Not only to its maximum but it will expand enormously. for bitcoin its just the beggining, you may never know, what if someday bitcoin would be the one who would replace our money into a digital currency. So that's what i think why 2018 is gonna be better for bitcoin. I  ;D believe that it would turned out to be well.

In my personal opinion, Bitcoin in 2018 will be better than 2017. Probably price will be growing up to 40k-50k. Bitcoin is much potential and valuable coin. As it has a great future, it will be increasing and crossing the price of 2017.

Cannot be said.May be.May be not.When I was passing 2017,I thought,this year is good,so the coming year would be better.But I became very disappointed to see the reality!Now I am thinking that, 2017 was better than 2018.Because,during 2017,so much crash didn't happen that is happening this year.Crash after crash is going on and the price is continuously falling. Yesterday,the price of bitcoin was around $11,000.Today the price decreased and became $10,000.It is unexpected. Though in 2017,the price wasn't in this level.But the then price kept increasing. It didn't fell down like this year.

I think 2018 will be better. Now all coins are dumping, many people will thing its the perfect boarding point to invest in cryptos. Because you will never get them cheaper then now. 2018 will be a very crucial year for bitcoin career. As central authorities of all the countries are reviewing cryptos in order to regulate it to earn taxes. Govt. stand on crypto is going to decide BTC fate.
Moreover, BTC dominance has dec to 33% now, that means investors are shifting to altcoins for investment. So 2018 will going to be a fate decider for BTC.

I hope so :). But as you know just at the start of 2018, there are a lot of bad news for Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies. But there is also good news for Bitcoin that Japan, in which Bitcoin was born, Bitcoin is accepted to pay for bills and a lot of thing as their local currency. A better year for Bitcoin than 2017 is close to impossible. And it if happened it would be really scary, that would be the symptom of a terrible bubble. I would be already happy if Bitcoin will manage to go back to the ATH area this year.

Beginning of 2018 was not impressive as compared to the last part of 2017. No one believe that bitcoin can touched 15000$ marked but it already happened. There is no doubt  that bitcoin will become more popular now in 2018 and we need to expect that theres a lot of billionaire and millionaires will goin to invest more in bitcoin and the total supply is limited only so i think the bitcoin will increase more because of the high demand.

Well bitcoin in 2017 witness a big success and that gave many other alt coin the face lift they wanted with many ICOs that came up and where successful, bitcoin in 2018 will face a lot of challenges because the government is now fully focus on bitcoin and aiming at bringing bitcoin down by all means possible. So the future of bitcoin in 2018 is unpredictable bit I know for sure that bitcoin will rise at the middle of the year.

Yes it is true of your opinion of a tomorrow that we can not expect bitcoin to be good or bad and most importantly we expect better from now to tomorrow.

Tomorrow will always be better than today. Bitcoin has proved this time and again. It is just matter of few days now as the crash happened and every Year in Jan markets fall but during the whole year it recovers so much that nobody actually care about the fall which happened during the start of year. So hold if you have btc or buy more in this dip to make the gains in coming months.

BTC is back again in 10k range. Tomorrow is the Chinese new year and btc has risen and moved above 10k. Seems thing have started to get back to normal and the rise of btc for 2018 has begun. We will have more buying happening now after tomorrow and thus market will see new high again in 2018 as it seems now.

Year by year bitcoin will grow and of course the years to come will be better than the past ones for bitcoin

In 2017,bitcoin has faced many ups and downs like bitcoin price falling down due to BCH getting pumped and bitcoin price increasing very high to ATH of almost $20,000.@018 would be a great year for bitcoin as SEC of US as well as many governments have changed their attitude of acting completely against bitcoin and have started to think about regulating it instead of banning completely.

If Bitcoin is already taking off now, imagine what happens when Coinbase actually enables Segwit support in the coming weeks and if later this year Lightning Network is done.

But in 2017 the increase was so dramatically that if that would happen again we would all be millionaires. I don't think it will go that crazy again but still huge profits.

Because in start of 2017 i think price of bitcoin will in between to 2-4k$ while in start of 2018 bitcoin price was 10k$. So just think about that its just start of 2018 now bitcoin will still improve their self with time so we hope it will hit 30k$ this time easily till 2018 end.

I think that it is possible for 2018 to be better than the year of 2017 because we cannot deny that 2017 is one of the greatest year for bitcoin because the price of bitcoin just go up so high from a low price of bitcoin and if the same thing happen this year then it will be like a miracle for the market.

I should say that in the first quarter the worst is over. All we have is to look forward to yet another phenomenal rise of the BTC value. The trail that BTC has left in the end of last year is that of a $19000 mark. And the correction, as well as the unexpected slump had brought the value to a little under $6000 in the first quarter. But now that is over and the BTC is soaring ahead for 10000$ mark and beyond.

2018 in my view will set another unparalleled record of sorts with BTC. I also expect the Ethereum value to soar beyond 2000$ mark by the end of this year. The price increase ratio may be lower than 2017, from 20000 dollars to 40000 dollars (just 2x), but the final price will be much higher than 2017 in 2018.

I think so because in 2018 we know more about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. The beginning of the year is not good, but it was expected. By the middle of the year things should go better, and by the end of the year we will see very good indicators.

2017 was the year of ICO and great popularity for bitcoin. 2018 will be the year of regulation of the state's crypto currency, the introduction of bills, various bans. But the popularity of bitcoin and blockchein technology will grow.

The competitors can be another reason for the dip.

We are just on the 3rd month of the year so its hard for someone to say that this year will be better than last year, because if you can see last year bitcoin price pump around the mid until the end of the year. It is only someone who is negative about life generally that would even say no. The rate at which bitcoin is being talked about all over the world and the positive things going on in terms of development, it is time to go test the new highs and I believe the highs will be more than what we had even last year.

One thing I am looking at is the fact that we may not experience much downtrends this year, if everything turn out as I expect, because we may be entering the era of adoption. I think YES that this year will be better than last year the way bitcoin responds to the big dip few weeks ago. Bitcoin had showed how volatile it  can be when it hits 5,000$ all time low since last December's 20,000$ mark. This was just too much. I'm more and more believing we will see some longer consolidation. Pretty much boring months. Well some ups and down will happen but nothing what will be really be worth any big headlines.
That's just a gut feeling but it is strong at the moment. Maybe at the end of the year there will be some action again. But for the next couple of months I don't really expect that much.

Bitcoin went from 1K in January 2017 to about 10K at the end of december 2017. It multiplied its value ten times.
Call me a pessimist, but I do not think that will happen in 2018 again! We would be at 100K then, and that is not a number I see for the price of one bitcoin in any near future.
But of course I can imagine a fair increase of the bitcoin price, maybe to about 20K by the end of the year.
I think that the conditions for a slower, but steady increase of bitcoin price are now better than ever.

My answer is yes.Upto 2017,bitcoin is illegal in many countries.But now it slowly started to regulate in some countries and recently South Korea start to regulate.In some bank of U.S and U.K start to accept bitcoin as money.

With some of the things we are hearing on the news and how far they have been having a major positive impact on the movement of the market; I really believe we are in for a good treat this year. Although, no one can predict what will happen in this year, but we can at least hope for the best looking at all that happened last year. Many financial experts have predicted some big prices for bitcoins and I would not be surprised if it does. The start of the year has being dicey till now. We have seen the rise and fall already in last couple of months itself. Even in last 2 days it has fallen 1000$ or so and now getting little better though with above 9k mark. Should be a temporary period till it stays below 10k and once it rises boom we will have a year better than 2017 and btc price should cross 20k this year.

But the way i see it, even though we didn't start the year right since it a bloody market, the value of btc is still way above it's value that started last year. Because of the increase and decrease in demands the price fluctuates and we know that the demand last year can not be the same as compared to this year demand rate. I think it would not increase as much as it has increase in year 2017. It has increase more than 10x until the end of the year. With the price now, there are many speculation that it would increase to as much as $25,000 which would be 2x or 3x to the current price. Nobody knows and guarantees that 2018 is better than 2017, as we know that there is currently so much negative news about bitcoin that it makes a lot of users trust the false news and choose cut lose.

I pretty much feel like it won't be just better than 2017 but it will end up reaching at higher all time high price in 2018. 2017 was like best year of bitcoin its very impossible to reach that level of increase soon enough.

Bitcoin faces hard time increasing its value since it enters the 2018. It roughly decrease in the first quarter of the year due to so many FUDs and FOMO that's being speculated. It really affect its value but still it also gives an opportunity to those traders who wanted to buy  at its dip. Well, for now, we can see its value is ranging from $8k-$10k and this is quite good  because it slowly covering its losses. No one can predict if bitcoin will be better this year then last year. Great thing is that more and more people joined in bitcoin market this year , we are on half why of this year and price is looking stable around $8 000 and fee are much lowered now then last year. But I don't think that bitcoin will hit $20 000 this year, because many people lost their money last year when they invested in bitcoin at $16k.

Bitcoin has now been trading sideways at 8-10K for nearly 6 months. I believe there will be another bull-market for bitcoin that will take it to new a ATH significantly above the 20K in Dec 17, but the question is will that come in Oct-Dec 18 like it did last year, or happen in 2019? The history of the bitcoin price can give us some prediction of this, although using the past to project what might happen in the future can never be truly predictive of what will happen!

And the reasons that I believe bitcoins long term parabolic growth will continue over the next 5-10 years? I believe the later generation blockchains and protocols that are being developed will allow development of dApps that will slowly replace the current massive centralised companies and businesses we all use over the next 10-15 years, in a third technology revolution of the world. As you notice the price at the early of the year is similar to the past years. It's look like they have pattern. But the price of 2018 are much higher than 2017 at early of the year.

It's been half a year we have not felt a fantastic increase like last year, when compared with last year the price has gone up more than 300% from january to june, but this year the price dropped 50% from january to june, may the year end price can pass $ 25k.

Even 2017 is never expected to provide us with such a great growth. It all happened in an unexpected time, and the initial start begun when Japan made its legal acceptance of bitcoin along with the support from government. The sudden growth to a much higher level were disturbing the eyes of the governments. Later on when governments start implementing regulations the value started to decline. Possibly with some good adoption similar to Japan, this time too bitcoin will grow high.

Was a little pessimistic about it, I dont think it could reach previous peak until few projects are seriously impact our life with applications like wechat or such, 2017 is a good year and was interpreted by me as its fresh to alot of new buyers that sees the rising cryptocurrency was simply as a way for quick buck, lots of buy are going on thats why it could reach 800b in few months, and when the trend starts slow down with regulations, things start slow down, cashing out and the marketcap shrinking was never been so quick, this also resulted lots of speculators that either had some losses or players that learned that lesson, cash wouldn't be injected into the market that quickly anymore like how it perform last year

2017 is one of the greatest year. 2017 is memorable. Bitcoin already prove what it can be at early 2017 because it reach the price of 1000 us dollar. Comparing in this year, bitcoin is going down. At 2017, yes bitcoin goes down but when it recovers it fly to the moon, it rise and rise and kept rising. The last highest price is the highest price it reached until now. Maybe the best time to sell is last year but the best time to buy is this year.

If we do the thorough analysis of the last few years, bitcoin increases by the end every time and so does this time. I am little upset at the current prices of bitcoin but optimistic about the prices by the end of 2018. That is the time when bitcoin exhibits its real power, making all happy. Currently we are in a less good condition and are on a negative path. The decline in Bitcoin prices does happen so significantly, but I still feel optimistic that the price of Bitcoin will again gain momentum to increase again. There is no chance that bitcoin cross or reach to its previous level of 2017. There is a huge difference in the peak and today’s price. I don’t think that in the next six months the price will jump upto $20000 from $6700. 2017 was far better than this year from all aspects. 2017 was, by far, the best year for bitcoin. The price hit almost 20.000$ out of no where! It's something that we should't foreseen back in 2017 since a bull run that massive would snap the value back quite hard as well. 2019 perhaps would be determined by how well we end up this year

The year by far has being slow and on the drop side of it. But the second half seems to be more eventful with lot of positive things too look for and this should definitely make the price to fly and rebounce above the current level. Should be ending better than the last year.

I usually based on the speculations in the market and most of cryptocurrency experts are saying that bitcoins can reach $50k dollars this year so keep on holding your coins right now.

I think we will not see a new ATH in this year, I hope I'm wrong, but now the market seems very fragile. It's not attractive for new investors to enter the market. If this perception disappears, then a new upward trend may begin.

Should be wrong because we see some moment have started to happen and little fall though has taken p[lace but that is how bitcoin reacts to rise. So we can see at least 10k as pour first target to be achieved soon. People are making smart choice by buying now some coins for future gains.

Till Mid 2018, Bitcoin is less popular than other altcoins this time. Yet based on the trend, we would like to see what would happen on q4 of 2018. There is a possibility to change.

2018 is a difficult year for the crypto currency, more precisely for investors, the strongest will survive. Who has nerves of steel. But I am sure the growth will be very soon possible in the fall and so I keep and will keep the cryptocurrency on . 8)

I think, 2018 year - is the year of altcoins, I currently sitting with bitcoins and believe, that till the end of this year bitcoin will hit 10,000$ and after this, I will move to altcoins and will hold them a year or maybe two. Then will thinking about investing in ICOs. But I can also say, that now not really stable situation around bitcoin with regulations, banning, so it's hard to predict something.

The year 2018 is difficult year for both bitcoin and altcoin why? If you monitoring the chart price of bitcoin you will see the trend is always in the down that makes altcoin decreasing ths price, we cannot know if this falling down continue in the next couple of month or maybe it can pump up again like what happen in the last quarter of year 2017.

The expected growth of the cryptocurrency hasn't been achieved till date, just based on the same we cannot say that the ongoing year is bitter for bitcoin as well altcoins. Having patience is the best way to get back the profiting for which one needs to gain confidence and trust over the cryptocurrency network.

Yes so for its look like difficult for the bitcoin users, but i think that still half year to go and now we are observing a slight change in bitcoin trend, i think that ten next few months will be too good for bitcoin user because we will see a good change and  increase in bitcoin price. I think that next few years bitcoin price will hopefully recover its previous highest price and we will hopefully see the bitcoin price again trading above 19000$.

it's been half of a 12 months we have not felt a brilliant growth like remaining yr, when compared with remaining year the charge has long past up extra than 300% from january to june, but this 12 months the fee dropped 50% from january to june, might also the year give up price can skip $ 25k.

In these difficult times, I assure you that 2018. isn't a good year for any crypto currency. It is the whole market that is affected. 2019. and for sure 2020. will be better, but we expect the same growth and the high prices of the Bitcoin like at the end of of2017. and higher. We all are waiting for this...be patient and everything will pay off.

Of course not. 2017 is the year during which bitcoin conquered new peaks. In 2018, bitcoin was blown away and only half a year later began to show signs of growth. 2018 will be too pale in comparison with what was in 2017.

None of us have a crystal ball in hear to see the future, so better to stop thinking about a bullrun before the end of the year, but to be honest, no one can predict that, and we do not know if it is going to be better than the previous one or not.

the end of 2017 is very surprising to everyone because bitcoin record history reached the highest price at that time and now back down. may be tough to reach or surpass the year 2017 but I believe by the end of 2018 bitcoin will regenerate history as technology evolves and more and more people join and accept cryptocurrency is the reason I believe bitcoin can surprise many people again

2017 is a bad year for bitcoin, since the middle of the year bitcoin plummeted.
but I believe in 2018 bitcoin will not experience the same thing that happened in 2017.

At the beginning of the year we had more enthusiasts in bitcoin and hope in the currency was very high. This caused a high volume trade at the early part of the year. Now after 7 months the decline in patronage had been enormous. It is expected that bitcoin will fall as low as $2000 before it can rise close and above $20000. The prediction is expected to reach this height in 2 years but it has all gone the other way, now it is assumed that the bottom of the coin this year is $6000. My own height will be around $15000 this year and that will be towards the end of the year as usual.

In my own opinion, bitcoins will surpass the previous price of bitcoins last year because there are more countries that has been legalized to cryptocurrency and the demand will increase in the market as well.

I am very optimistic with the year 2018, I think in this year bitcoin will be victorious again.

Thats right, maybe this year is a tough year for many investors and traders because the price declines by more than 50% in 2018, and you're right just a patient who will survive and make a profit. pump will surely happen dude just be patient

That is remain to be seen. 2017 is a bullish year for bitcoin and that also the last time when bitcoin hit its all-time high. After that ATH, the price of the bitcoin goes down to its lowest level of below $6000. During the first half of this year, the market is generally bearish. There are still five months remaining, many investors are still waiting and wondering if bullrun is still possible in the coming weeks.

So far not so much. Last year the prices were lower so no matter what happens if you invested in 2017 aside from the last two months, than you are in for a luck. However if you invested during the bull rush at the last two months than you may need to wait a bit more. The percentage that gets up and down is so much more volatile this year rather than last year. Last year it was low and it was closer to days daily changes for a whole year except the last two months.

If we get a huge bull rush this year like last years and go beyond $20k than we can call 2018 better, if not than 2017 was better.

Most probably the answer is yes. We can expect better bullish rally by bitcoin and altcoins this year. Without a doubt last year first half was also a mix of bearish and slow bullish periods. What all surge we witnessed was during the fourth quarter and that too started by the November end. So, can happen this year too. Some improvement in prices of many coins can already be seen. This is a good sign and a relief from a such long bear period.

No one knows when good and bad things will happen, like a big increase in 2017 that makes many people surprised and lots of news talking about bitcoin. Currently we know if bitcoin is back again at a low value below $10k, but if we look at how long the bitcoin travels to reach the highest point in 2017, then the fall or low bitcoin price at the moment is not a bad thing I guess and that is something which is reasonable, because with the fall of this price we can still start from scratch again to get a good profit again in the future.

Well it's been tough so far but we haven't yet reached the final quarter where most of the time, the market really makes a run. I'm not too concerned about the previous three quarters because a real bull run can get us past the ath. Though that's wishful thinking of course :p

In some cases or situations bitcoin is better in this year then that of previous year but in some case it is worst then that of previous. Bitcoin is accepted by many country and its user number increase surprising in 2018 after seeing its price in 2017.many investors also showing their interest in bitcoin invest. But in 2018 its price constantly decrease and this is because if its irregularities in its production and distribution and its decentralised nature. In end of 2018 it is ban in many country because of its decentralised nature and crime activities.

In this bearish situation, it is impossible to guess whether the price of Bitcoin will increase or decrease. The situation will always change according to the market which we cannot able to guess sometime, the only option we have is to wait until the market starts recovering.

Only time will tell if this year 2018 can be better than year 2017. Anything can happen in crypto currency just like what late last year can still repeat it self if not more than before the end of this year.

Each year has got something better over the previous year. This can be in terms of price, market widening, usage, acceptance from governments etc. So, rather than thinking whether the present year is better than the previous year or not it is good to think in a wise manner to make the ongoing year the best.

Don't be fuled by prices, just look at people interested in bitcoin and other cryptos, their number is increasing and this is what matters.

Finally the expectation and reality has turned out to be different. It was thought that 2018 would be a better year but till now we have seen how markets have fallen resulting into heavy losses for people . Though in last couple of days it has started to show a positive sign moving upwards and Dec is still left so will it recover and bounce back to above 10k is now the question as does not seems it can reach anywhere near 2017 high price.

well, this year my knowledge has greatly increased regarding cryptocurrency. however, my income dropped quite drastically. well, I might think that 2017 is the year for cryptocurrency. that year was really great.

knowledge is more important than money because it cannot be buy  therfor you should still be thankful and you should consider that bitcoin in 2018 is better than 2017 not just because of price comparison but also based on your learnings as well .

2018 is also a better year compared to 2017 because this is the year that all cryptos have experienced a big break .  if you are an investor , you can greatly enjoy this perfect oppurtunity to buy alot of coins since the price is down for a longer time span  .

We do not have to lose the hope with the better future and I am sure that in this year we will see a good time in Bitcoin market and we will enter in the next year with a very good market. Then in the next year the market will be up and there will be a large scale of opportunities for the online earners.

I have no hope that in 2018 Bitcoin will please investors with its growth more than in 2017. Need to hold it and wait for a successful 2019.   

It may not be that like 2017 high but even if it reaches five figure mark from here would be the great momentum for the beginning of 2019 and form their on it can rise further as well. Though current market is quite down but to being bull run it might not take time and the rise will also be fast paced.
