I'm looking for new coins to get into. If you have one that you think is going to do really well, then try to sell me on it. Obviously i'm going to do my own research, but just looking for ideas. I'm currently heavily invested in XVG. I really think it's going to go somewhere huge. The price is just too cheap not to get into it. I've been picking up free coins the last couple of weeks just by playing the price fluctuations and have a few thousand put back that i'm holding. So, looking for new projects to get into now that i've gotten enough for free that i'm happy with the amount that i'm holding. Would be really great if there's a bunch of volatility on the coin so I can do the same with these new ones. Let's hear your ideas!

And that is the 2000nd time crypto has died in the last couple of years thanks for coming out. To answer the question I am speculating on many coins but the couple I am most interested right now is TenX, Bitcore, and DeepOnion. These three coins in my mind have a chance to have a big 2018 although now just learning about the FuzeX card or whatever TenX may be in for a hell of a challenge.

Verge is a big one for me too and I've done similar in trading the volatility to grow my holding, it's always a good strategy for the coins you believe in. I like the look of TRON also and have done a similar thing. Both coins I got in to a little late for my liking but fortunately not right at the top and I have high hopes.

As lightning network is about to arrive to bitcoin, payments will come back to be fast and cheap...(there´s already people using it in produciton network...). I think this will have some impact on dummy coins that offer simply fast payments... I´d stay away of bitcoin-cash, digibyte and many others in that like, maybe even litecoin, but that´s always a safe bet.

Smart Contracts will be big this year.. many of those will consolidate and compite with ETH....as many huge companies are starting to use them. Keep in your radar new exciting projects like Universa, Nuls and MyWish, those and others will come to compite with the the big guys for a place in the top 50. And of course ETH will be a x2 at least... so many ICO, so many things happening it their network... and remember they will will move from POW to POS and also launch GoNetwork... 2018 could be for ETH what 2017 was for BTC...

It will also be the year of dezentraliced exchanges, There are so many exciting projects coming, so even plan to integrate Fiat in the equation like a coinbase + everycoin you want... Keep on the radar Oax, aura, etc etc

An then we have to see how new industries adopting blockchain perform... it will be interesting to see how it goes for all the new decentralized banking tokens...energy tokens.. aircraft and automovile industry.. etc etc... I bealive some of those could become huge... (everex, blockmason, wepower, etc etc)

Privacy coins, the good ones will keep goins, the bad ones will start failing their purpose (not giving names here). stay tuned to new exciting low mcap projects like sumo or onion.

I just feel like with the new tax implementations here in the United States that privacy coins are going to get big right towards the end of the year. I'm almost willing to be that come late November/December, you'll see them grow as people start to think about this years taxes.

No.. Just no. Why do you think this? Just because everything is down right now? Go back and look. This happens every January and has for the past few years now.

I am convinced that cryptos are nothing more than a passingfad that will soon take a back seat, as happened with many other online businesses that at the time also offered great options to invest but today they are not anymore. And when that happens, there will only be a few cryptos with real utility, such as ethereum and about ten more.

Now there are a lot of coins that have a huge volatility. One of them is ripple. I like to speculate on this coin and I am confident that this is a strong project that will develop rapidly in the near future, so even if the price will go down it won't be there for a long time.

No new coins, but I'm heavily speculating on Tether and BTC. I've taken the fiat route, expecting Bitfinex not being able to verify/proof they have the same amount in USD in the bank.

now the quality of the project is not important, it is important that it is listed in the quality exchanges. You should do your research accordingly

I disagree wholeheartedly. I think we'll see even MORE money and interest in cryptos in the coming years. I see a time where you can walk into your local grocery store and pick up all of your weekly groceries with many different altcoins. However, I still think this is a few years away.

This morning when I wake up to the bitcoin page right. And now, I'm thinking there will be some good news from bitcoin. Hopefully, bitcoin will bring good news. I will have more money from bitcoin. To welcome spring is fun this year. I have money back home.

i dont think verge will be more huge. it already did 20x last month. how much more do you expect? it is already one of top 25 coin at coinmarketcap.

May I tell you about some future coins?
In my list, I have some choices of the future project which some of them already backed by big name behind it.


The first should be a current project already backed by Mark Cuban.

The second, Arcblock which already raised over 55k member on telegram and I think that the crowdsale will be last for some minutes.

The last, coinmetro which already raised so many interests to the platform.

DeepOnion, it is similar to XVG but it is much undervalued, 19 million supply but just about ~ 50M cap

I am just holding my coins tight and waiting for this correction to be over.
Just when you think it is finally over, some news again causes the selloff!

What was happening now is just temporary since holidays is not yet over we expect many coin prices would become cheap but after these they will back to it's normal prices and recover.

I hope this is temporary and we can see a big moves in the market. Currently btc is dropping down its price so I hope in feb month price will regain its value. So I am speculating on bitcoin these days and always watching over the value.

Yes you are right all, this is temporary that prices these days are cheap. Above OP mention coin is xvg so I have this coin buying this days is good and best to hold. If btc you are speculating on that price will increase or recover I am sure it will happen.

Now that bitcoin is suffering to it's down fall, it is better to observe the deepest it can obtain. And prepare to buy more bitcoins so in the coming months I'm sure you can gain huge profits.

I currently speculating on is the prices value of BTC and tokens in the market. Im looking also for a new coins who are having the high potential  for trading in the market.Lastly,looking on the result of the discussion of cryptocurrency  status in other country worldwide.

I think everything will go up short term when btc rises again.

Basically all coins that can be used for something will be worth something. Worthless coins / scams / bubbles will be under heavy pressure right now, if not already burst. The CEO of a worthless token project / scam / bubble will of course leave the crypto market asap, and he has to do that before the majority (atm he's probably gone), because otherwise his whole scheme was for nothing. That would be different if the coin actually can be used for something in the network (CND for example). The team of Cindicator won't run and cash out just like that, because they have something valuable already with their A.I., the token price is just a nice additional asset.

Dcorp is just above ico value now. Low market cap.
They are a venture capital token built on eth. They have a derivatives exchange as the first seed project in the works.
The venture capital platform is being worked on now, its is in pre beta. So they almost have a working product with a dedicated team working constantly. You can talk with many of them on the telegram channel.
They have registered with the sec to allow the split of the token to send back dividends from the VC earnings back to the holder.
It's going the be a really great year for this project.

So we can only wish you luck, new coins in each now in the portfolio of about two dozen if not more. And everyone is looking for their strategy and coin for the right choice and profit. I have a pair of monero ripples.

I am speculating on some ico these are my coin on ico :
1. Aurora token from idex lab ( i buy it because aurora token could be staked when the snowglobe platform launch and exchanger will not die especially decentralised exchanger )
2. Crypterium ( i buy it for using my crypto asset in real life and i think it is potentially could goes above $5 soon even the market of bitcoin is crash now )
3. Ethereum ( i put on it because casper will be launch soon and prove of stake will happening )
4. Exscudo / eon ( the platform will be launch soon, i buy when its ico when btc price is only $1860 and not worry about this crash, still profit so far )
