I think the options in the poll aren't that well-chosen, the <50 bracket could do with more different options as there are probably many people who dabble a bit in BTC without keeping a significant amount of their money in it.

A lot of the clowns launching Alt Coins don't even seem to have 50 BTC.

Those with a lot of Bitcoins probably won't even vote or write it in a forum like this.

Makes you wonder, as to how wealthy they are without btc.

bitcoins is still quite a volatile currency. So if you were NOT rich at all, wouldnt you think about selling some right about now since the price is high again? How long would you wait before selling?

So I guess to have the nerves to hold on to 2k btc you either have to be a huge enthusiast and believe in it hardcore or already be a millionaire and are speculating on making more money on btc in the future.

lots have passed through my wallets, i am sure there would be some interesting stories uses of bitcoin.

These polls are worthless and put bitcoiners at risk, imagine someone foolishly exposing his thousands of bitcoins and then the bitcoin value rising to 1,000$ or even 10,000$, there is a strong incentive for governments/cyber criminal to use social engineering in order to acquire a list of people that have a lot of BTC.

FTFY. I was one of them, although I own far less than 2k. Useless poll is useless.

This poll makes me sad when I think about the coins I USE to own and sold for the price of a burger. :(. If only I held onto them I could potentially buy a house!

I would have had 7 tonight, except for the fact that coinbase cancelled my 1.5 btc order from the 29th for no reason other than they are greedy hook-nosed bastards. I did not record my trans # on top of that.... Is there anyway to retrieve a cached page from my history to view the trans #??? I am at a loss, they could just say it never existed but it did.... What a pack of unprofessional scumweasels. Nobody out there should do any business with them. If I do not receive a full refund PLUS repayment for the wasted time and stress for this, I am taking legal action. sorry for the tangental rant, I am just beyond word...

But why risk it? Could be that bitcointalk is compromised or could be compromised in the future.
