Title: Getting started-specs

Hi there,

I want to built a mining rig and started to research the components i need to get started.
I will start with one graphic card to learn about the process and add more in the way.
I have come with the following specs and i need advice if i made the right choices.

  • Zotac GeForce GTX 1070Ti AMP Extreme 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (ZT-P10710B-10P)
    Corsair HX1000i 1000W '80 Plus Platinum Digital Modular Power Supply (CP-9020074-UK)

get a used ssd on ebay only need an 80gb one, youll spend much less. might need to consider little higher wattage psu for those 1070ti's. other than that looks decent enough

heck if you can pick up an 8gb dual channel ram kit used on ebay too, do that I mean why not save some money where you can and put the money saved to better use elsewhere on the rig

Looks ok, except the riser. Do not use SATA risers. Choose molex or at least 6 pin.
