I have done most of the physical work, according to the guide. 192.168.1.254 is the Private LAN IP Address on my router. My router will not allow me to change it: Access Error: Forbidden, Invalid Private DHCP range, the Modem's IP address is included in the Private DHCP range. Thanks for replying.

turn of DHCP, then change router IP to something like 192.168.1.3 and set router IP range 192.168.1.4 - 192.168.1.254

I tried this, but still can't access the blade.

what router are you running?
never seen one default to such a high ip. inface i've never seen one that wasnt 1 (ie 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1)

If I were you I would find a cheap router somewhere. Find one that you can install DD-WRT (http://www.dd-wrt.com/) on, as it gives you a larger range of configuration options.

I would be looking to spend about £25 , or about 35 - 40 US dollars.

I hate anything built by AT+T.

Change the IP of your laptop to match the network subnet of the blade. Plug the cable from your laptop straight into the blade and change the IP address of the blade to match the IP subnet of your router. Plug the blade back into your router and access it at what ever IP you configured.

when blade is not connected to pool it restarting all the time, trying to use next pool. If you will try to connect during restart you will not be able. Wait for 20-30 seconds and you will be able to connect, unless some other device on your network using 192.168.1.254

Who is your internet provider?
I know some providers only let them change the IP's and set up the ports by accessibg their site with your password and username and change the router from their site.

firstly go to the webpage http://192.168.1.254:8000, just change the sever address as the pool address and ports for pool ports.
and user:pass is your worker username and passwords, touse “：” to seperate the passwords and username
click update/resit when you finish the setting.

for example：
port:9332,6339
sever addresses:pool.btc38.com,www.japool.com
user:pass:dulinxu.1:1,dulinxu.2:2

9332 and 6339 are the pool ports
pool.btc38.com is the pool address
and dulinxu.1 is worker name and 1 is password.


then setup your mining_proxy .bat file.
set one you want to go with, another one is the spare one.
example(same with the account set above):
mining_proxy.exe -o pool.btc38.com -p 9332 -cu dulinxu.1 -cp 1

First of all, Do you have A normal PSU like OCZ 600W? You will need 4 pin CPU cable to follow up. one Yellow to positive, one Black to negative. Do you pull two yellow and two black to, otherwise die.

After the connection, You will need to Hot-Wire the PSU to let that work.

Then, You will need to go to the specific address. If using router, You will need to set up independently.


Additionally, You will need stratum proxy to let this work as the default function is too old.

How about taking a crossover/cat6 cable and pluging the blade into your pc's lan card. You will need to navigate to you network card setting and set the ip manually. Set it to the range of ips listed above for Blade interface. Once in there change the blade setting to match your routers range. Then plug the blade back to the router and reset the network card settings. Should allow you access then

Hey brother if it still is not working, login to your router goto the My Network tab and hit Reset device list. This should reassign Ips and you should be able to see the Blades new ip.

then navigate to
 http://newiphere:8000,

http://192.168.1.***:8000

you can probably login to the router by going to

http://192.168.1.1

there you will see all the ips that are on your network.....

Hey if you still are having issues go to your start menu on your computer, and type "cmd" in your search box that pops up.  This will give you a window with a black background "command prompt" type in "netstat -a" then it will crap out a list of ip address & port #'s.  you probably have to assign your connection to run static.  If you do what i said and copy and paste the results to me I can help you further from there.
