South Korea said it has no plan whatsoever to ban cryptocurrency trading.

According to cnbc.

This might certainly be good news for the majority of us... seems that for now their main focus is to just go after some illegal exchanges. Not sure how this news will affect or if it's gonna affect at all the market,  i hope it brings back some of the investment that we lost due to FUD.

That's why it's pointless trying to speculate about the actions of these countries in relation to crypto regulation.

They're very unpredictable - rumours about a China ban were around for years before anything actually happened, and even now BTC isn't really banned, just handled more strictly.

I doubt that most countries would ban trading unless they believe that it was a genuine threat to its citizens.

That was old news. They stoped the trading of non KYC users. KYC accepted customers can continue to trade.
