Title: Australian Bitcoin Users
Post by: hyphenx on September 02, 2013, 02:01:37 AM
We are in such a great position for Bitcoin based projects to flourish, but I feel we are still far behind the EU and USA in terms of Bitcoin technology and adoption.
With so many great mind's out there, it's got me thinking.

How many Australian's are on Bitcoin talk?
Are there still people mining?
How many ASIC's are in Australia?
How easy is it now to buy bitcoins compared to a year or two ago when exchanges like Bitcoinica, TradeHill and CryptoExchange reigned?
Who are leaders for Bitcoin in Australia?

I would love to see more meetup's, conferences and discussions happening in Australia, and possibly even hacker days to fuel the development of more bitcoin based projects.
