Why chinese coin is so popular now?

It's simple. NEO repeats the same thing - what etherium did last year. Then the first ICO, launched on the etherium platform, got a good start, and the etherium began to be used in really large primary placements, and investors dispersed the etherium in order to participate in these ICO as comfortably as possible. This is happening now with NEO. Investors who started in 2018 with a search for new ideas for investment, want to get the same profit as last year, and therefore they are looking for a *new etherium*.

Neo is still in it's speculative phase and speculative prices are notorious for climbing to astronomical heights.

Although it is starting to have projects built on the platform, mostly people are trying to find the "next ethereum" so to speak and most people have put their bets on neo although there are quite a few similar platforms out right now.

You can compare the rise in price to cardano, another platform.  The thing is, cardano doesn't even exist yet but people see it as potentially overtaking eth so you have a company with an overinflated valuation.

I would say the draw to neo is that it is up and running already.  Also, there is widespread speculation that a lot of the money in crypto can be found in China and Korea.

Well, with that being said, I personally think NEO has a great future, much more so than ada or waves.
In the future, I am hoping that there are two to three smart contract platforms with high market caps.
Competition always drives progress.

So according to your prediction has it sense to invest in this coin?

Do you think NEO growth will continue or has it been exhausted? Concerning ETH it have a small capitalization, and the prospects of earning on it some profit seem to be there.

NEO got a really good reputation and is the main competitor of ETH, when Chinese government will establish the rule for ico, we will pay ico with NEO and it will pump as never

NEO is the chinese Ethereum. There are also more new ICO using the NEO platform. I just wish I invested in it when it was known as antshare and was $7.00.

I was really hoping that NEO was going to slightly separate and not follow the drop in BTC. I wonder if it will be this year or sometime in the future before the somewhat separate.

You mean NEO right? As far as i know, NEO will become ICO platform like Ethereum did. Then, CHINA is biggest market for cryptocurrencies today. You can see right now, how Asian market could drive the price. Almost all coins dropping today, waiting for Chinese Lunar Year event.

Yes NEO founder works with Chinese government which is positive for growth of Neo in the future.

But cause ICO are not allowed for Chinese to participate this still makes Etherium more attractive coin to invest into.

This can be clearly seen today with Etherium having last 24h change of -3% while Neo -8%.

I think it is overvalued, I would not invest in neo before btc fall to $8K. It is good, and this is enough to invest in it for the long term.

From the beginning we can observe the greatness of his project, but we must be cautious in mentioning growth in current times, we are in a time of correction, and NEO is proving its solidity but also we must observe the market and after that period , we can draw conclusions.

Because chinese coins are mostly the ones who are achieving success in the market,NEO especially is the chinese's ethereum and if you researched why it is called chinese eth,you will find because it has better technology than ethereum the platforim is solid and also has big community like what ethereum has,its morelikely following ethereum's footsteps.

NEO is regulated by the state of China and the product itself is designed to improve China's outdated payment methods and enhance security.

You can earn coin from holding neo in their wallet and their tech with Asian adaptation looks very promising. But all will depends from marketing)
