Too little information. One video, an invitation to join. What is your radio? Where is the technical information in the form of a white book. When will the investment pay off? Who are the potential customers?

I'll address your answers one at a time.

Too little information - In your opinion what other information do you think we're missing?  We have a ICO website with white paper, one sheet, roadmap, etc at https://rao.radioyo.fm and a working product at https://radioyo.fm

What is your radio?  Not sure I understand.  Can you explain?

Where is the technical information in the form of a white book?  I'm assuming you mean white paper.  Again, check out our ICO website at https://rao.radioyo.fm and our Product website at https://radioyo.fm

When will the investment pay off?  How are you defining payoff?  Token price increasing?  Trading on an exchange?  We're in negotiations with exchanges.  Just working out the details at this point.

Who are potential customers?  Independent media, online journalists and podcasters worldwide.

Hey all - More progress to report on.  RadioYo is excited to announce that we're about to embark on phase two of building out our blockchain-based broadcasting and services platform.

As part of this build-out, we're looking for podcasters/independent journalists/online media who want to participate in a special pilot that will timestamp your information to the blockchain.

For those who are interested in shaping the future direction of RadioYo, what we want to do is to take the information you created or used when you registered as a Host on RadioYo i.e., name and email; statistics; latest biography; press images, social media-style information; organizations/companies connected to, and RSS feed, and upload this information to the blockchain.

It’s our hope that the lessons learned from this pilot will help shape the direction RadioYo takes and makes financially rewarding content creators a reality.

We taken steps to make sure their ICO is fair to all. 

For example, we’ve created 34 different token tiers for people.  The minimum amount of tokens is 500 and the maximum amount is 25,000. 

In addition, we made sure that no one person can hold more than 1 percent of RAO, turned away early investors wanting a lion’s share of RAO, decided against holding a pre-sale, are not doing airdrops or paying bounties.  You want to participate, then you have to either be on our platform or contribute through our ICO.

We feel in the long run our approach emphasizes the importance of building and nurturing a strong community of RAO contributors.

Podcasters, online broadcasters, independent media and online publishers face a range of pressures every day. Funding, competition for listeners, press freedom, copyright infringement and producing the most remarkable programming possible weigh on people's minds every day. RadioYo is laying the groundwork for a new age of ownership, tracking, content sharing and creation that is engaging, sustainable, borderless, and fair to all stakeholders.

We're often asked how will RAO get its value?  We think the RAO's value is derived in multiple ways: If you're a person who has watched RadioYo grow and wants to support it's continued growth by contributing to it, a la contributing to a KickStarter campaign, then you can do that. Alternatively, if you are interested in transparency and an open internet and want to benefit from the products and services available to you within the RadioYo ecosystem, then you can do that, too. (Ideally we hope people will participate in the ICO of the RAO for both reasons!)

Here are a few examples of how developers, consumers, podcasters, service providers and advertisers would use the RAO within RadioYo’s platform.

1. Monetization of Private Shows - Today, RadioYo Hosts can currently create private and public shows. Private shows allow "influencer" Hosts to create a walled off community.  Hosts could use this feature as a call to action to engage their listeners.

2. User Generated Content - The RAO economy can incentivize content creation by rewarding creators. By allowing anyone to create content,
i.e., hosts, musicians, voice-over talent, artists, journalists, and authors, can be rewarded. RadioYo expects more consumers to participate and create content. This open market concept creates competition for higher-quality content and ultimately creates a better community.

3. Tipping - Consumers can tip content creators for content they like,
i.e., an episode, music, comment or article, and even service providers for something as simple as audio editing or post production. As an example, a consumer in a country where censorship flourishes can be rewarded for voting, sharing, commenting, publishing, etc.

4. Branding - RadioYo provides a new way for brands to directly engage consumers. Brands can reward users for completing simple tasks.  This can include signing up for an advertiser's service, i.e., a Netflix account, answering survey questions, creating themed content, curating content or interacting with brand-sponsored audios/engagements.

RadioYo wants its legacy to be in the construction of a new blockchain-based broadcasting and services platform for podcasters, online broadcasters, independent media and online publishers. This platform will be open and sustainable while putting the global community first.

In this new world order, RadioYo is a participant rather than a landlord. With the aim of fostering a vibrant economy, the company pledges to promote products and services from the platform to its global community of users, while demonstrating its commitment to transparency and an open Internet.

I don't think it makes sense to wait for us to appear at a conference to speak.  Unless a conference invites us we're not actively looking to present.  We rather spend our time working on our pilot and building out our platform.
