Stop selling bitcoin, you are being tricked into a loss. Learn to hold and wait, sell when it gets higher. Stop bringing down
the market.

We see something different. People do not hold for long time as they invested because they expect profit in reasonable time. A lot of newcomers entered the market in Dec and Jan as they expected further grow. But this has not happened and we see strong dip. Anyway many people need money they invested back so they will sell despite lower prices. Yes brother, arrears and rents are due every month. The way to pay is to sell bitcoins which is happening now.

people who dont believe in the tech and was in only to make a quick buck.. they should sell.. bitcoin is not for them !

let them sell.. the least weak hands in the game, better for the next run up !

Folks have doesn't  have a majority piece it's a dirty game from influential people. It makes no sense say to folks about "stop it" .

Which is why you should never invest money you need for your rent and similar things. You cant invest in something and expect to get 10x return in a month. Everyone who sells for a loss now is probably making a huge mistake. When prices start to go up again they will regret their decisions badly. Selling now is a huge misstake! Buying now however is a great opportunity, when the market turns around you can expect great return if you buy around 9k$/Btc

This is a good call. But, the appeal probably will not affect entrepreneurs who have bitcoin a lot because the entrepreneurs prefer the bitcoin price more down again so they can buy bitcoin for profit this year when bitcoin prices rise as the market gets higher. I think the drastically reduced price of bitcoin at the beginning of this year is really the game of entrepreneurs to drop the bitcoin prices and they also managed to panic the owners of bitcoin so that market conditions continue to decrease by selling bitcoin.

Who the heck is spending his rent money on bitcoin ? Bitcoin should be an investment of money you are willing to store in your bank account or money that  you could only afford to lose . It's never a good idea to put your life savings or rent money on something as volatile as cryptocurrency. Invest on your own risk and don't be surprised when all people are selling and the market is droping .The Market won't only go up especialy crypto market.

Sorry but yes I sold all my stuff today ;)  Rather have my profit instead of ending with nothing. It's too stormy weather now and will go sail when it's more calm.

Let the weak hands suffer the most. And strong hands took control of everything. Its very unfortunate to see the price of bitcoin nose diving, but hey, its their lost anyways. Let them regret their decisions later when they see the bitcoin bouncing back to $20K.


Correct. Invest what you can afford to lose. Others are mislead though and sell everything and invest on bitcoin. The market is volatile, no one is certain how the price will move. Its gonna be a painful experience to see today all your investment crashing because you put your life savings on crypto market.

I think you’re posting in the wrong place OP. The massive downturn in the last month is more than us lot here who individually probably don’t have more than a couple of hundred bitcoin’s each (if you’re lucky).

The kind of slide we’re witnessing now is institutional, whale, government doing.

Let's shake out the weak hands. Weak hands can sell and GTFO. I just spread multiple short orders at 1k intervals. That's what winners do!

It is useless and this will not make people aware because among the various reasons that people have to sell their bitcoins they are afraid of fear, fear of bitcoin be worth $0. then when people look at prices they fall into panic and sell all bitcoins that they have because they think bitcoin will cost $0. have 100% or even 200% losses does not matter to these people, the fear is stronger than dominates their thinking and that is why I say it is useless to open their minds

For the new investors who invest in bitcoin in dec. they really keep on oanuc selling because they really dont know that bitcoin value will come back its price again same as last year. Just like my case, i loose 40k in peso in bitcoin. I am so frustrated about it but i dont want to sell all my bitcoin. I want to keep on holding it because i believe that it will rise its value again.

Hey - keep on selling and push the price down. I'll have a nice shiny new wallet to fill soon on my Linux machine. :)

Welcome to the free market where there is nothing that is going to stop people from selling if the market is going down. This is why you look into closing out positions if you're exposed to uncertainty in the market, especially when there is one that is as volatile as Bitcoin in. Maybe you should look into trying that sometime in the future eh?

This is also likely some return to the mean after the bubble. I don't think a lot of people want to realize that cryptos had a ton of casual investors dump their money in and pulled it out, and likely won't be entering again since they lost money more often than not.

I have been working with crypto currencies for more than a year, but what is happening now is difficult to call a normal price adjustment.  It seems to me that stronger manipulators have appeared on the market and it is precisely because of them that the price of crypto currencies is collapsing. But bitcoin does not already have such support as before, as new crypto currencies gradually get out of its dependence and will not depend in the future  from the course of oscillations of bitcoin.

Bringing down the market won't cease to continue as FUD is getting more and more spread as we talk , big whales will just benefit from this by increasing the overall number of coins they have by a few thousands , and just wait for the next hype wave to occur and just collect the gains .. Whoever is selling his funds is just selling an asset with a huge discount that can even reach 90% of the value that his coins can achieve in just the few coming months .
The beginning of every year is known to be the decrease part of the chart , and who ever will fall for that bull trap will just regret his own deeds when he sees the bright full green color in mid spring / early summer .

Can't say I'm afraid. Ok a little bit ;) But this is just my case of buy low sell high. Now got a some great profit now since I jumped in beginning of March. The profit I've got now I will put a part in a more stable investment and will invest later back again in Crypto when I feel the panic is settled down. And can take some easy time to observe in which coin I really believe in and support. And not into some honky wonky coin and spending money like a crazy monkey. This is my point of view. :)

ROFL, that was a good one :D. The OP is actually right but I don't know why he cares so much for us. He probably isn't HODLING. I don't think that the OP has any BTC left in his "purse". Anyway, BTC will once again see the bright light at the end of the tunnel and this light will be so shiny that we will close our eyes because of the tremendous profit that will come after the light ;D. BTC will for sure recover but the OP won't recover if he has already sold everything and is now deceiving us! :o

When the market dips and if someone decides to sell their stack, we should always ask, who are the people buying right now. After all the market manipulation going, you can imagine, that these are the people, who will laugh and benefit in the end, when the market recovers rapidly. Ride the waves and decide on which side you want to be.

Thanks for reminding the community. But it seems that everyone is really dumping their coins because they are afraid that the price could go down deep and they can't recover their investment. But I say that's bullshit. We all should learn lessons from the past. Bitcoin always recovered from any crash and even go further. It doesn't make sense to sell your bitcoin when the price is going down.

Unfortunately, all those who have been selling it has decided that its time to quit. lol. This is the perfect time to enter the market because the price is really cheap. We have been preaching this every time, however, they really panic and just push the sell button.

This is the panic that has occurred in all trades, even many who are surprised at the price of all Crypto markets, which do not show the price in accordance with the red, even this is just manipulating the prices that are happening on a daily basis ...

We have different views and goals. Some buy low and sell high to gain more profit in a short period of time ans some sell their holds because they're afraid that they will lose more of it as the dip goes or end up at the end having to profit at all. Many are also afraid because big names in economy are saying that bitcoin show hard evidences of a bubble and because of this continuous drop of bitcoin, the resort to selling instead of holding.

I think selling bitcoin is the worst decision any one can make now. When the prices are low, it's the time to buy bitcoin. But there are many people buy at high prices, they wait for higher prices. but finally they sell their coins at low price, because they are not patient and they panic.

Yes, most of the newbies have entered the market thinking that they would become rich soon due to bitcoin and now they are getting disappointed on seeing bitcoin's price move. They just sell their bitcoins making the market more unstable.Already we the community as a whole failed to stop bitcoin price falling due to panic selling and now even when big firms have entered the market via bitcoin futures, it seems impossible for us to stop this movement.

There are so many new comers last month and from november to december who really invested hard and expect quick gain due to the unstoppable rally of btc price last december but it seems reverse scenario happen bitcoin and other crypto currency is falling this may cause panic selling to the newbie and those who invest  before and now needed cash to finance their daily needs.

You cannot control / ask people of what they want to do with their bitcoins. A lot of people are panicking because bitcoin price is dumping.  And it is normal guys to have this feeling. But to those people who are veterans they know what to do.  Of course,  some people also are selling their bitcoin becuase it is emergency not because the price of it is low.

I don't think these posts will stop people from selling. I have seen many people who came in without any interest in tech just to make 10X. I really don't mind seing them gone.

When all fishes calm down and stop panic sells, whales will start buying. Fishes will follow whale, whale will stop buying but fishes will continue and at some point whale will swim off and leave fishes in panic and we shell see this scenario over and over again.

Hahaha, what are you talking about man? You can not control someone's life or decision. It is up to people to do what with their money and their Bitcoin. It is their right to be inviolable. You must know that everyone has their own business. Their businesses are all sorts and you will not understand them all. After all, many people today want to invest and save Bitcoin instead of selling it. Many people race to collect Bitcoin, like me too. So, stop being knowledgeable and do what you have to do. Just focus on collecting Bitcoin and invest for your own good in your economy.

Everyone is panicking at this moment, they are afraid there are going to lose money many have lost since December but there were still optimistic, but once it went below $9K I guess it was too much for people.

I too hope that the sellers would stop selling, but I am afraid this is not panic selling, this is deliberate and well calculated speculation of big whales who want to buy cheaper coins.

Though it is easier to say to hodl and don't sell, it is very difficult to apply it to yourself especially if you're monitoring your losses every minute. People easily gets emotional when it comes to money (in this case, to BTC) and due to emotion, they tend to do irrational thing and panic sell. FUD news that are being broadcasted in every channel of media add fear to these people and in the end, will force themselves to sell at a loss. What they need is a plan ahead of time and just walk away from their computers and think carefully on what to do in this time of bloodbath.

traders love this kind of situation when price change every time. when price goes down some/lot wants their bitcoin to be sell and to buy at low again with this they can earn small profit and buy bitcoin again at a low price.

A lot of my friends invested into crypto when it was in bullish period and they used to profit 100% form a single coin and now that we are in downtrend it is too hard for them and they can`t have patience which brings them down.

If I had bought at a lower price than it is today then I would have sold the lot.  Because what is the point of holding on and on to end up with nothing.  It is a shame for people who bought at a high price because they have lost out if they sell.  If they hold it might take years to get back to a good price.  Why do people want more money pumped in so people can take more money out.  It is getting to look a bit crazy.

Yes the holders would be the gainers as usual becoming strong hands.I have already seen most of people who had sold their bitcoins at lower price later regret for their decision.

Just lots of FUDs spreading in the market to make bitcoin price down.Bitcoin's price would definitely increase once again but may not be like what happened last month due to launching of bitcoin futures.

Do one thing people:

Go on facebook and twitter and inform people about bitcoin and ask them to buy. It doesnt matter if facebook is banning ads, you can still help even if you create fake accounts and post from there. It all depends on you to inform the public, the more people the higher bitcoin can rise.

I agree with your statement we should not sell bitcoin. We should hold, people are worrying and selling their bitcoin. They should know the power of holding. If most of us try to hold the btc then market will be stable and hope it will start rising again. The only important thing is patience needed in the current market situation. Those who are selling now will repent when market will rise. It's the matter of some days.

Holding what's left in some exchange until price find its legitimate reason to pump, but if it goes 10,000 USD level I will rather exchange it to fiat or ethereum. I don't know but I think this price reversal is too early.

If they needed the money let them sell. Everyone can make their own choice. They are losing money every time they do that but they don't have a choice. I was in the same situation before and I totally understand how it feels to sell btc knowing that it the value will increase after a few months. I kept on thinking about it every time I heard that BTC price has gone up but there's nothing I can do about it. Money is always needed and I am just lucky that I have BTC that time because I really need it.

You can't stop people selling their bitcoins, Some people sell when they need money, some people hold long time, and some people just do day trading. And price will go up and down, it's the nature of crypto. btw bitcoin is here to stay.

Yeah they should stop selling because they aren't helpinh at all. If you are in here for a kon term investment you don't think about the dip as the biggest downfall because you know that it will soon rise again but those who want to make profit right away, they are the one who are in panic and keep seeling their bitcoins.
