Yes, and altcoins usually dip and rebound harder than bitcoin during these panic sell offs so even if you have no fiat it's a decent time to get that coin you have had your eye on.

My eyes goes big whenever there's a blood bath in my portfolio wishing I have more funds to buy these coins on sale which happens only a few times in a year! Those who have buying power should really take this opportunity to top up their funds and buy these coins as many as possible they can afford.

finally the first positive post about the state of the market :) I also believe that the current fall is a short-term trend and soon again everything will ride to the moon!

Its actually a good time to fill up one's treasure barn with a whole lot of dropping coins.This am very sure is gonna yield several millions after we are passed this hard times. I sincerely wish I have much myself to buy gain from the current market dip, cos I see it as a blessing in disguise.

This is a must if its a way of becoming optimism. Traders must think this way to avoid confusion and panic selling instead of thinking that it is on a crash, there's a big sale so we are all good for shopping those cheaper coins.
I bought already before and I'm only waiting for their price to increase from 5%-10% and I'm out of those coins but sadly you know on where are we right now.

I always stash some Bitcoins and Ethereums for these bloody sale days.  The best trading strategies for these red days is to either buy more or HODL your coins.  If you didn't sell when the days were green, there is no reason to consider selling when it's red.  

I'm a little unlucky because I forgot to empty my bag when the price is still expensive. My coins are still trapped now. And I hope all the haraga will soon be covered.

Oh my friend, my bags got serious weight added today I'm sure you did same thing. 2 Projects i really $ cost averaged into are DRAGONCHAIN and DEEP ONION, big time sleepers both of them..

This is the result of regulations and BTC drop. I am sure that the market will recover quickly.

Fugget about it, I already loaded up my bags last week thinking that was the sale! I ain't got no mo money for these cheaper coins otherwise I would stack my bags harder!! :'(

Yeah, the problem is coins seem to be on a neverending "sale."  Miss the last one to fill your bags?  Don't worry.  There will be one in a couple of weeks.  And a couple of weeks after that.

I think this is the right time to accumulate top 20 coins in the coinmarketcap especially ETHereum ,  NEO and Cardano (ADA). Because the prices are cheap or on sale you can accumulate plenty of coins in small amount of money.

To buy cheap coins you need either to have sold high or to have some FIAT funds anyway you can take money from. You cannot really buy cheap coins when you are 100% in the market :)

That's why always think when there is a massive sell-off as a black Friday for altcoins. I always buying coins when the market taking a deep dip and most of them are led me to a profitable trade. I always remembered a simple quote about trading, "Buy when everyone selling, and sell when everyone buying".

This thought should be always ponder in our mind and to ease all negative thoughts in being red of the market. Taking the other side of the picture will helps us to be less pessimistic and see things differently. So instead of mocking around why don't you look at the top 20 in coinmarketcap and see what will caught your eye, but for me I'll go with coins under $1 and just hold.

15k bitcoin = All coins are on sale buy the dip!
12k bitcoin = We're over the worst, we won't see prices this low again
11k bitcoin = We're about to see a recovery soon, HODL
10k bitcoin = we're at the bottom, 10k has lots of support.
8,500 (today) = What CRASH?  There's a huge sale!

Well, i do a lot of shopping recently due to big day sale. I dont understand why people are always negative when there is a major dip happening in the market, well for me im always postive that it will be only short term thus i buy alot of tokens to get short term profit ez ez profit with this kind of sale bruh

Everyone is being a bit too paranoid about this temporary dip. I wouldn't even call this a correction since mainstream adoption hasn't started yet. The reality is that if you compared BTC and Altcoins just a few months ago in October to today.. they have boomed heavily. Temporary dips are normal, no market anywhere can have a continuous uptrend. Always, always in trading history it's the short term speculators that lose out, not the long term holders.

My thoughts entirely. I would be shopping something crazy if i had the spare cash.

Oh you can said that's until the coin dropped more and more, it's like 2014 all over again. Better get ready folks.

It is a good time to hoard cheap coins. I'm hoping to have an extra money to buy coins. I am still waiting for my other coins to hatch so that i can have more babies.

that is right a huge sale is happening this month. many are panicking specially new investor or those want to earn profit in a short period of time. bitcoin would not fall so be patience and buy and hold for long term.

Well it's huge sale for who still not invest bitcoin yet ( new trader) but it's major loss for me since I bought 0.1 on $ 13.000
All I can do is still holding until the price increase once again since I believe on 2018, bitcoin will reach another highest value !

It will be difficult for bitcoin to be recovered due to strong FUD from a lot of government and countries. I remember at previous week south korea was attacking crypto and this time india is doing it.

This strategy is done by whales and they bought a lot of sale coin.
When price goes up then its time for whales to sell again. Nice move from anybody who have spare cash to shopping now.

I wouldn't fall for it. I think the price will go down even more. If your FOMO feeling is killing you, just buy 30-50% of your fiat and save the rest for 6-7k price target. But if you have bottomless pit fiat account, go for it! I noticed that Walton isn't dropping that much, even I bought at avg 10000 for BTC, I used it to buy some very interesting coins like WTC and THETA. So I feel not too disappointed.

Already bought at lower levels I hope that soon the market will turn in the other direction,and that is that not much of the situation on the market.

There is a big drain of coins on the eve of the Chinese New Year. I do not make sudden movements and I'm motivated by patient.

Most of the people are panic selling when the time like this,but this is a great opportunity for the few who has a mindset to buy at the dips because if the market recovered im sure they will have a lot of profits from these dips.

It's really I good time to go shopping now, sad to say because of dump my funds are now trap in different altcoins (I buy some for long term hodling, but some I buy for day trade) because this altcoins I'm currently hodling are one of those coins who had have I uge dump and continue to fall everyday and I don't want to pull money out of my pocket by now maybe not until I see some sign of recover in alt market.

It looks like the FUD sale was extended. I admit that I lost more than $2,000 in my portfolio, but I do not mind about it. I think there is a chance that Bitcoin may slide down to $8,000 by the end of tonight. I predict that it will go down below $8,000 during weekends.

You know how powerful is the bad news from reputable sources. They are creating some sort of long-term chain just to keep BTC and other altcoins in going downwards. It's the whales turn to buy BTC at this stage, as the buying zone is between $8,000 to $10,000. Plus, the Lunar New Year of the Earth Dog is fast approaching. Expect there will be more dips, and the FUD sale is still ongoing.

I still earn fiat money from my freelance job and withdrew some tokens I earned from airdrops and bounties.

Theres a lot of noobs that jumped to crypto last year and now they see BTC price falling and they are dumping. Great opportunity to buy Bitcoin at discounted price, you can also join ICOs with this. Every time someone sells, someone is waiting to buy. They might not like the price of BTC now but definitely someone out there is rejoicing and filling their bags.

Panic, people sometimes do not understand that they do rash things. But it is rather the effect of mass, you need now to wait time and, if possible, invest in something interesting and worthwhile and that with the future.

This is a great news, Bitcoin now is in affordable price. People needs to restock their coins before this great sale ends later this year.
I think people are just paranoid because it's getting low so they are panic selling. But for me i can hold it and don't mind the loss.

I really don't understand the people who start selling their coins immediately when they see decreasing of the prices. I really wonder that when these people will learn making panic sells never works.

I really would like to be optimistic like you but there are so much bad things going on, starting from BTC slowness and high fees, governments pseudo-banning, all media calling the bubble has burst. Very difficult to go through this huge drop.

LOL. I love this optimism. Sure this situation can be taken as a Big Sale, if you believe that crypto has its power and alts will be growing in future. I share this point of view and try to use the market fall to buy more alts.

Red January, probably in history it's worth recording this month, because I have not seen such a big correction, which I see today, at all. Well, it will be hoped that this is a temporary phenomenon.

Sale indeed! I only wish I waited until today to get some cheap coins, but I guess even getting them last night isn't too much of a big miss on the discounts. This is the perfect opportunity to get in on those trains we missed: for me I even took a small buy on Ripple (as much as I dislike it, but it has to get back up to $1 at some point this year).

The only problem is for bags I already hold like Elastic, haha. But it's just a short term problem.

I'm still waiting for bitcoin to pump before buying altcoins because i believe if bitcoin pumps again, altcoin will suffer another red market.Keep calm and waiting for the tides to change.

I wish that also I had more money. But I was stacked with other coins who goes very dip. I think people should not be worried about what is happening right now. They should take this as an opportunity to grab because, in the future, they will truly gain here.

Me too, the best thing to do is hodl anything you have until markets are back to normal. Maybe it take couples of month to recover what have you loss or gain. But this dip quite good for the new people coming to crypto world.
