Okay so this is how it goes, while I was reviewing the price drop of any coins especially bitcoin i thought that I was inside  hell, it's on fire and while I was also thinking that valentines day is coming, I ask myself why too early?.

Now I want you to know that every amount of any crypto that you sell is hurting the market so why do we give slap to our asses and wait don't spend.  Since this is bitcoin talk Ill ask you once again do you support bitcoin?

Yes that is true. Panic selling and mass selling of cryptocurrencies really hurts the value. Not only that, but because of the decrease in value they are putting traders and investors at a very disadvantageous and messy position. I say if you don't have the guts to keep your cryptocurrencies when the value drops a little then why the hell have you invested on something with a value that is highly volatile in the first place?

Oh, no, there's been so much bad news lately that I want to forget about the cryptographic currency market and see if the market is still red next month.

In my own opinion, I rather wait for the value to rise up again than panic sell it and then invest again when it recovers. Because you have missed precious increases to those times that you hadn't invested. Moreover, the system of the market of bitcoin is hurt when there is a massive wave of people selling tgeir bitcoins. Further loweringnthe value.

There is a lot of panic around me. Lot of people who bought Bitcoin recently has sold their Bitcoins. I am not panic selling my Bitcoins. Maybe it is more easy to say for me as I had bought my Bitcoins half earlier ago, therefor I didn't loss that much as many people. Actually I am waiting for Bitcoin to drop a little more so I can buy some.

Those who are selling their bitcoins are newbies.  They get afraid easily on losing their money.  They want to cut their losses.  I believe that bitcoin will goes up again.  And maybe just a test to those who will continue supporting it or not.  As for me, I will hold it until I reached the target amount.

It takes a lot of weaks hand so that we can buy back and make even more money!

Well the only reason it is volatile is because people panic sell (and due to whales and other factors), if less people fed into the panic, the asset would be less volatile.

The main reason for all the FUD, is that a lot of the people that are new to investing in bitcoin, they are not used to the volatility, so they panic and sell, which only further increases the swings up and down.

It is of course not great to see 50% of your portfolio disappear, but to be in crypto you gotta keep a cool head, and at times you just need to hold.

Some investors are selling out of fear and panic not minding the price,if one really love Bitcoin understand how the investment works,he or she will will not follow suit to sell at this time  for out of panic. I love Bitcoin so am holding.

I believe this kind of dip happened every January of the year, and people would come back buy again with their tax return money soon. My only regret is that I did not buy bitcoin last year around this time when the price went down to $1700 - people got shocked by the price at that time like today.

yes i really support Bitcoin, selling of our coins now that bitcoin prize is down is not really the best option, for me instead of selling my coin i rather buy more of it because when Bitcoin regain its strength those who have sell off their coins will live to regret their actions.

if you are desperately in need of money i advice you sell part of any coin that you want to sell because u will be the one to enjoy it when the price of bitcoin is up

Yes you guys need to wake up don't sell the bitcoins at this time the value of the coin may get down but it is not the permanent value of it the value of the coin will get increase in future

There are a lot of lessons to learn in crypto.
As with the people back in 2009 and 2010 and a few years after who had bitcoin and lost, disgarded or forgot about them, they learned a sore lesson especially in december  last.
There will be lessons learned from this current turbulance too.

We shouldnt/cant blame others for selling, there is fear and panic still out there.

You guys are being manipulated by high rollers, wall street, and bankers.  They are crashing these markets with fake news and fud to gather a massive amount of crypto at discounted prices.

It is a part of game mate that bitcoin having a volatile now and then it is fluctuated either dump or pump, since bitcoin now facing a different issues regarding some countries are opposed with the bitcoin also some factor having an especially holidays like what you've said coming valentines day and Chinese new year. Agreed. I think they want us to do the panic selling to drop prices even more so they buy at very good level. that is very good advice, you should not sell your coins. otherwise you'll regret so much.

If an issue arises people know within a short it will continue on its path. These days everything come altogether which won't allow human minds to think in a relaxed manner about the further growth.

Don't be so addicted of tge priče changings. I holt an exchanger open on the comp and noticed that during an hour the price changed like +1000$ and that's big change, really, and it can move everybody to go crazy. But, your getting nervous is worthless, it will not change anything. Better to forget about all this prices for a moment and concentrate on work. Time will come and we will see a new bull run.

There are many factors affecting this situation, not only the panic seller:
Reason # 1: Bad news from South Korea
Reason # 2: The specter of the ban on currency digging in China
Reason # 3: Panic among novices
Reason # 4: Asians pay money

I recommend not to sell to any work at the moment that the time of landing accompanied by the rise and the expected rise has a strong impact on all currencies and not Betcoin itself

These trying times of bitcoin cause alot of holders to get nervous and afraid that bitcoin would die but i think bitcoin will not die that easy it has faced alot of circumstances for years and it recovered so why to get panic if it has already proven to be the strongest crypto of all time..just hold bitcoin for the moment and believe in its capability to rise up after its downfall.

Yes this is true why some people was always panicking when they saw the value was falling down. They didn't fully understand why its gonna happens. So if bitcoin or any cryptocurrency was falling down don't panic selling and this is your chance to  invest again and hodl your coins for the future rising. Yes, panic selling is not good. But not selling at all also hurts the market. It will stagnant the market and create a long queue of waiting buyers without sellers. No seller, no buyer situation will arise and trading won't take place. Or why do you think most devs give out airdrops? Of course, it is to cause weak hands to dump so there will be enough liquidity in the exchange for the coins. So, people should feel free to sell. It's all good for the industry.

The capitalization of all crypto currencies is so huge, that not every amount will hurt the markets. I don't know how much coins you have, but the trading (buy, sell, buy) is more wise behavior than the hoDLing (buy, hold).

If every person will decide that they will not sell then the price will not drop no matter how many worst news come ahead. It depends on us 'the users of bitcoin' that where the price go. If we do not sell on lower price then those who need it will but it.

Let the people sell and let those who deserves to lose money lose their money. This is the only way we can see BTC grow soon. IF they sell their coins and tokens even at this late price spikes, let them do it. If you sell your token that is now worth half of what was last December then sell it. There are people willing to buy it.

Yes, I never sell my crypto. I always collect and keep my crypto such as Bitcoin and Ethereum because I want to invest in them. I do not want to sell by the price go up and I get a lot of profit. But to do that, of course we will need a lot of time and effort. We need a lot of money for capital and we have to be patience. I plan to keep my Bitcoin and Ethereum until the price and the amount reaches the number I want to realize all my dreams. I have a lot of dreams with Bitcoin and I hope I can make it all up with Bitcoin. I want to buy a house, build a business, and make my parents happy. Bitcoin and Ethereum price will go up so high in the future. Until then, I will never sell just like you said.

To you it is irritating but for hardcore investors who see the real value of bitcoin, it is opportunity. We cannot force others not to spend their bitcoin, they might need it for something. We cannot also force others not to give in to their fears now the price is crashing, it is human nature. What you can control is your own actions. You can stay irritated or you can grasps the opportunity that this bear trend gives.

It's normal weak hand will sell off, and only strong hand will survive in this bad times. And end of the day those holder make money. I know how some of the folks feels right now, as i seen my 50% portfolio disappeared with in matters of hours, and yes it hurts. But only thing you can do is hold.

It's a little bit naive to think that people here has any real effect on the market. Even if some people have enough BTC to actually be able to make a difference, those people certainly don't care of your opinion and they have different interests.

By the way, i WILL support bitcoin. the decreasing of the rate of btc is part of the market. dont panic because this will pump back sooner. the better way to do is to buy more BTC and wait to have profit and sell SOME btc to take back your investment and hodl some to have a profit if the rate will increase continuously.

This is what I'm talking about the market value of bitcoin nowadays, many people really don't know how bitcoin works in the global market. Many people are selling their assets now since they noticed the proce drops of every cryptocurrencies out there, without knowing they're the one that causing it down, the more demand they have of said currency the more the supply will go up. That's simple economic will apply here. They had this impression that earning cryptocurrencies is just liken earning monthly salary without affecting the value of coins. I agree with this statement, we should be aware how bitcoin works and how bitcoin grows up. Lets support each other and notice every move that you take. Don't be. Too excited just because you need money. Focus on what you fo to support this group.

when i started my journey with crypto an year ago i never sell any single coin in loss until and unless the platform is going to de list from their exchange, its only happened once in my crypto journey that was metal coin which i only sold in loss :)

Those who want to sell are a little late. This price drop could be foreseen since 2 weeks ago. With all the FUD last week, it was inevitable that the price would decline. Today the price dropped too much to consider selling. Next week the price could drop even more, if the American authorities find any wrongdoing by Bitfinex and Tether.

Bitcoin and other crypto do not need to be sold now as soon as the price drops. It is expected that the price of Bitcoin will be very normal. Bitcoin has got quite a bit of concern in the past year. Now the price is highly compressed. So, should be sold.

It's a learning process. There are many new users in crypto who are not familiar with corrections, and we are currently dealing with a major one. I am still relatively new, but I after checking crypto prices for the past years, I have confidence that the price will stabilize eventually and will start rising again. If you're saying it should be sold at this current state of price drops definitely you are in lose all of profit. We should wait for a while the bitcoin is suffering this kind of big dips. Absolutely support bitcoin! I've just been trying to remain patient and accumulate more during these dips! FUD has been killing the market! But i don't believe that there will ever be enough to completely wreck the True value of cryptos! It has become so popular over time, I'm starting to see it and hear about it everywhere! This is normal, there's always going to be bumps in the road! It's when you get to them bumps that really scare people away. If people only understood the true value of HODL, but people panic and get out early. The strong hands will surely be the ones to prevail!

    I think most of the bitcoiners support bitcoin like me. But maybe some people are getting panic when they saw bitcoin price getting lower. Well,for me this is not the time to panic,but it is the right and good time to buy while price is verry affordable. Then wait because bitcoin price will increase again. what happens today is common. it is necessary to rise and fall the indigo of a coin. I think it signifies the competition between coins. hopefully the future value of the coins can be better  :D

Yes, mate it irritates me too my friend. Actually, from past few days, the bitcoin is moving down with red color with some big momentum and volatility and that's the reason it's irritating us in a big way. The best way to get out from this red bearish market is better you take a break and stay away from this market till the markets settled down with either sideways market or bullish market where you can enter your positions and expect good returns. And yes being an active member of this bitcointalk forum I actively supports the bitcoin and other cryptocurrency projects and i will continue this good work and share this bitcoin to my friends too.

If you consider such bad news in your mind and then your decision will be based on them, there might be some chances for a loss for you. Media is not showing what reality is. Many news are just for their interests so don’t just believe them blindly. Make a proper research, get absolute information, find answers for your queries and then jump here.

I never thought it was a good idea to sell my coin now. I think it is the dumbest thing. Why are you scared because you do not know enough, or you have no faith? But past history has told us that this is normal.

I will say this from my personal experience! Sometimes you need to analyze the coin when it starts to fall! for 2 weeks I woke up and thought: Well, at last the coin has reached the bottom! But no, the next day it was even lower! Of course you should not ever sell when it goes down, because always after the fall there will be growth!

At the end of the day, everyone's situations are different. If you're desperate, sell. If you have a long term strategy and believe the value will continue to rise over the coming months and years, then hodl away.

indeed with sell all of our crypto this is indirectly will makes the price was slightly hard to grow but every person had their own personal reason why they decide to sell their crypto and several weeks ago while all market were red i think it's normal why people so panic and sell their bitcoin

I totally agree with what you said. People who sell their crypto now for the reason of panic is so stupid. The market will recover as soon as possible, you should wait until it will be green again. If people really support and believe in bitcoin, they will understand that. Holding now is the key, don't waste your crypto and sell it with a loss, every crypto seller now, will regret later.

Well we are not in control of all of it. Just keep calm and it will pass on and the alts will be getting green again. Most of the time, people do panic selling when this cases happen and they never learn to be patient and wait for the price to recover. Panic selling is the worst thing you can do if you have crypto and it will reduce you profit by tenfold. The red hell you are considering about is somehow related to our violations in the government and the big dumps that is done by whales.

You can not tell every that "DONT PANIC!" it will pass soon. Since many coin holder gat panicked that if they hold a little longer they will loss everything. They have their own mind to make their own decisions, the only thing is we can give them advice that make them hold a little bit.

Many short term investor were panic with falling price of BTC and they sold their investment in despair to avoid further loss,these stupid people do not know that price correction phase is going now,on 6th Feb-18 many people sold their investment and BTC went down to $5983,after that bottom value BTC price is continuously going upward,they must be repenting now.Its not advisable to sell your investment now,a good time is coming ahed,hold your investment and wait when BTC will cross $20k then think to cash some of your investment as per your planning.Do not be panic ups and down is common in BTC,after all its father of Crypto Market.

Is quite normal that panic sell will come eventually for anyone. We can only try to increase resiliency of the investors by creating more awareness.
