is there even one person out there who still thinks $100K this year is possible?  :-\

With all the doubt and uncertainty investors have during these times, I wouldn't bet on $100k this year or even $20k... I think it's a lot safer to stay in the sidelines for now since the dump is probably not over at $8k

yes...I'd settle for $20K by the end of the year now but fear we may never see it again.

We might go even over 100k

if it had a strong 36 hour run the opposite question would be asked. people here have the memory of a goldfish that's been hit on the head. a year is a long time. an awful lot can happen during it.

Yep, despite the fud tsunami right now, The chances are not that small to go over 100k. Majority of governments want some regulation to get  tax, there is no banning. Usdt and other ico scams will be end soon or later and LN network will be fully operational this year. If you look without any biasd bullshit to reall facts,  the chances to climb as a rocket again is pretty real. fuds will slow things up but can't stop the btc for to long.

According to me earlier predictions were also near $50k and $100k was not possible even before the dump and now the situation are turning against the market and all coins are facing crash like situations and billion dollars are being wiped out of market your expectations are not going to come into reality this year but it may happen on future but this year we can see a maximum of $25000 by year end but can't say anything surely.

Why not? Everything is possible with bitcoin. Who would have thought we would reach 10k before the end of 2017 in February last year?

Well, I think that's too much of increase. Indeed, market value of Bitcoin last year almost touch 20 000 USD. But $100 K is way big for a leap on a market value also knowing that Bitcoin is having difficulties with its market value that already fell from more than $16 K down to less than 10000 USD. I still believe that its market price will eventially increase but its really hard to tell if it will be able to reach a value as that high.

Btc price wont see 100k but 20k price achievable and ithink in the mid of this year the price will be above 20k and that time everyone who sold on low will cry

100k us dollars is really high prediction for this year, but I do think that we can easily see above 20k which is the previous all time high. This kind of correction more than 50 % is good for a huge increase and all the conditions are set for big rally this year. Moreover I expect more increase in Ethereum and Neo this year, let us wait and see

Even when the pump rally of bitcoin was going that time aso $100k price was not expected in 2018 but it will be in or before 2020. In 2018 we will see the bitcoin price crossing above $25k is sure. Even some other altcoin will also see the more high price like BTC price rose in 2017 same way.

I never thought that BTC would reach 100 thousand and I do not think about it now. Meanwhile, 20-25K is the possible sum.

$100k this year 2018 is still possible and I think bitcoin has a potential to go above that. For your information as at this time last year bitcoin was below  $1,000 and in the same year went as high as $20,000.
To me we should see January and February as a bad time to hold bitcoin and other cryptocurrences as price do fall within those time. I think any moment from next month we should start to see a very serious bullish trends like it happened last year.

I consider that something is impossible if it never happened before. In 2017 Bitcoin went from 1000 $ on 1st January to 19 000 $ on 17th December. 19 times. So, yes, it is possible, it happened before.

Some people are acting similar to meteorologists in my country, if it rains today, they predict that it will also rain tomorrow. And they are usually wrong. World just doesn't work that way.

My personal target/hope is to see $20,000 by the end of 2018. I’d really like to see a slow climb to & consolidation period at $20,000 with no wild swings either way.

Violent swings are no good for people who have bitcoin’s best interests & it’s long term success at heart.

I believe we will be 25k in march, 100k before the year's end.

After hours of mathematical formulas and equations I have put together, It is my prediction bitcoin will reach $47,852 at the end of 2018 on December 31, 2018.

No I do not think these mad prices are accurate.  I think you will be lucky not to see a giant crash. 

When the price was 20000 dollar, I expected the price to fall in short term because price correction is a must. At the same time I expected the price to rise to 100000 dollar in long-term. Nothing has changed.

Price will rise to 100000 dollar. But only those who are patient will make profit.

Bitcoin price is unpredictable. No formula is their to calculate the price of bitcoin. By the market flow we can speculation of bitcoin to certain value. Based on the investors and adoption, the price of bitcoin will increase. If the huge panic selling is made.Their will be the huge difference in the price of bitcoin. I think the price of bitcoin will reach 60,000$ maximum at this year end.

I didn't think we would initially but I did have hope for it, now I think there's a slim chance, I do think that we will see $100k at some point in the future though, probably in 2020.

While I think it is still possible this year I am not betting on it or getting my hopes up for it. I would be most happy if we hit the range of 30-50k hell if we even made an ATH and hit 25k that would be lovely as well! 8)

Hell... Nope. I certainly will not belong to the group that will assume such price. Bitcoin can get to that anytime it replaces fiat or that there is a crash in the pricing of dollar because dollar has a way of influencing the value of bitcoin. Aside from these two twin factors, I do not see the possibility.
