Any Idea Which Currency will hit 100000$ price First ?

Bitcoin , just because the supply is lower.  But at that time I believe ethereum will have a higher total marketcap

You are too self-consoling, the price of $ 100000 is a very high price, too high for the price of crypto coins, it will be difficult to achieve.

Definitely it will be bitcoin because its availability is limited and most used currency than any other crypto even with ethereum so it has great demand and ethereum is far away to reach bitcoin.

Just my opinion, if bitcoin price hit 100k$ eth price will be at 10k$

So, judging from all the answers here, no one actually thinks that crypto will be valued as such because of,,, the value? If something is valuable, has a lot of useful features that people need. That people want. And more importantly, that people use. Then they value it higher. Then others will want it. Then we see demand go higher. So what if a coin has a lot or limited supply? Both have 8 decimals. I can own 1 satoshi and spend it if Bitcoin becomes 1 million dollars. But only if it has that use.

So, judging on usefulness. Bitcoin hands down.

I think the possible price become $100k is the bitcoin but it takes few years I think before it happen and for sure it's hard to reach that price because we know that ethereum is potential coin also so they have possible to replace bitcoin and we not see 100k dollars for bitcoin.

It is definetely bitcoin because it is store of value like gold, everyone can invest in bitcoin, it is simplier than ethereum. Ethereum is very different and not good coin as a investment for me.

If we are basing on thr marketcap right now, rankimg or value of course it will be bitcoin because bitcoinnis the first cryptocurency and lead than other so why we are thinking that eth will be the first coim who meet $100,000 but bitcoin it well gonna happen and as of the ranl now eth was the second place. Bitcoin and ethereum have a big discrepancy between thiet value so that bitcoin will be the first coin reach the $100,000.

In fact it is currently Bitcoin is the most penin fetched and allows to achieve a very high value, when compared with Etherum then Bitcoin is now more valuable and much more popular so that the possibility of Bitcoin prices can show a surprise. While for Etherum, even though it is currently the most prospective altcoin but the value Etherum can not achieve it in the near future, there needs to be serious development and we should also consider components such as government support that can make the digital currency far more valuable .

Increased prices will not happen when we do not support the development of Bitcoin or Digital currency , one way we can do is to use Bitcoin or digital currency  in everyday life. That is the way we should do if we want to apply digital currency  in a much higher level.

If any coin hit the $100 mark, I think it will be BTC, but this will not happens anytime soon. Maybe in 3-4 years, maybe never.

The market is now more mature and it will be hard to see pumps like this.

Why not, I think bitcoin can achieve it, but it takes time and maybe several years ahead. I've heard John McAfee state that bitcoin will reach $500k by 2020. Bitcoin are single candidates who can potentially achieve them.

I think that bitcoin reach this mark faster than the air, it is much more popular than the second, and it grows in price faster

Well obviously the writing is on the wall, Bitcoin still leads the race and making a lot of progress since the recent crash but I'm not counting Ethereum out yet, it is the biggest threat so far but there are still some few coins lurking but right now my bet is on Bitcoin.

BTC @ $100,000 = roughly $1.68 trillion market cap
ETH @ $100,000 = roughly $9.78 trillion market cap

BTC is the king of crypto, that plus the above calculations make it pretty clear, BTC has a far greater chance of hitting that target over ETH.

I can't see any coin surpassing the market cap of BTC in the next few years let alone to that extent.

Bitcoin will be the first to hit the highest price in cryptocurrencies. Its popularity is overwhelming that is why it grows so fast. Eth on the other hand though potentially viable to grow as big as btc, it will entail more years for it to attain btc's price. For now and the years to come i believe btc will remain no.1  others though my trust on eth to grow big will never change.

If I am going to answer the question straightforward then it's got to be bitcoin. I am not going to speculate though the question of when this will happen because no one really knows. Maybe 5 years from now is a safe bet.

Yes, only it is necessary to consider that if bitcoin will reach this price, then the ether will not lag behind. Therefore, the pulling of the blanket will begin and even market capitalization will not allow it to grow to such limits. But while bitcoin will always be ahead.

I don't think ethereum has that capacity to compete with bitcoin in the area of price and value. It will take bitcoin few positive news and adoption to get to $100,000 but it will take ethereum years of positve news and adoption to get there.  Bitcoin is not in competition with any of the cryptocurrencies because it is the one leading and others follow.

waoww, $ 100000 is a very high number and I think it will be very difficult for bitcoin and ethereum to reach the price, but if I have to choose then I guess then bitcoin will be number one.

if ethereum sees a big pump before reaching the bottom (lower than $100 and possibly $10 even) then it means the manipulation of ETH runs so much deeper than we all thought and the pumpers have a lot more money that imagined. possibly even have government involved, Russian gov or others i don't know at this point.

long story short there is no way for a coin with lots of problems like ETh and a big centralization downside to be even higher than $1000 let alone $100k so throw away your dumb dreams my friend!

Bitcoin or Ether reached $ 100,000. I think this can only happen in the future for a long time. However, if asked currency will hit $ 100000 frist then I believe the winning ability of bitcoin will be higher than Eth, and when the price is $ 100000 then ETH will follow closely behind Bicoin because now the bitcoin is still in position # 1 on coinmarketcap. However, that is just my guess, everything is hard to say in the crypto market

I think only bitcoins are able to touch $ 100k and ethreum will be behind it. But I do not talk about it can be realized, because at this time bitcoin still have difficulty to return to $ 20k.
Perhaps this will take several years to come, and we expect the same.

Bitcoin has been outperforming every coins out there just by looking at the price.  So common sense will tell you can it likely the bitcoin will be the only coin that will reach this price in the future.

To be honest, I don't see ETH hiting $100K. And for those who think otherwise, what would you say that can be the main factor that will drove ETH to this price in the long run? I'm not against ETH the project is solid with its smart contract technology, but I can't think of that much factor that will really trigger it to take off and hit $100K.

Bitcoin will touch that price before any voin on earth touching it. And the factor why bitcoin can touch it first are :
1. Bitcoin in circullation smaller then ethereum
2. Bitcoin is the first decentralised currency
3. Bitcoin is the gold of digital and ethereum is just a silver.
4. Bitcoin halving in 2020 will make bitcoin harde to mined.
5. Need a lot of resource to mine only 1 bitcoin which makes bitcoin touch that price.

I think bitcoin or ethereum cannot reach $100000. This value is so high. But there is always a posibility that one of them can reach $100K or maybe both can reach that mark.

My prediction, bitcoin in this year will reach $ 50000. and ETH will always be under bitcoin.

I think the answer to your question is Bitcoin, we have seen btc going to $20k from $1k within last year, so $100k is already on the cards for btc, while Eth will take more time perhaps few more years before hitting that huge milestone.

I think undoubtedly it will be bitcoin, but again, it is unknown when it will reach this price. But there is a miracle coin NANOX, "unfortunately" the price fell to$ 170000 today, the starting price was about$2000000.

I'm pretty sure that bitcoin will reach $100000 first. BTC is the coin anestor in the trading market, but I'm not clear and it's hard to predict when it can reach up to the $100000 price. In the end, there is a long way to go whether the bitcoin is or not. May be 2020 or longer.

I think bitcoin cause it's price will be going up in near years cause it supplies are lower than eth and we are going to mine whole amount of them, that is why imo bitcoin will hit 100k$ faster.

100,000 $ is a big amount! I do not think that in the near future Bitkoyn or Etereum cost so much, ETH maximum will cost 1500 $, and the BTC do not know exactly but not  100,000!

For me no other than Bitcoin because BTC will always be at rank 1 no matter what happen  . Ethereum is a very good altcoin but not to overtake with btc price so BTC will be @ 100k usd before ETH .

The possibility of any of them hitting 100000$ is very thin considering the battle cryptocurrency is facing right, but if I want to choose it will be bitcoin.
