So a lot of my friends are scared with btc losing half its value in 2 months. Some even decided to sell off their coins just to reduce the loss which they will make. Please I will advice my friends in here just like i did to them. Don't sell, HODL TILL IT MOONS. Thank me later.

I am thinking about buyimg more coins, when will be the best time to purchase?.

I believe that the most experienced traders and investors have already taken this decision. They hold their Bitcoins and altcoins and do not sell them until the great pump that will happen in a few weeks, as I think.

A great suggestion and for a newbie like you, I think you really studied cryptocurrency. So bitcoin is getting down and affecting other altcoins but really holding bitcoins is best way for a bitcoin holder.

This time is the best time to purchase bitcoin and I would siggest the application blockfolio, it can track any  value of token you want to see especially bitcoins that is in the value of 8k USD and I think buy bitcoins right now. Wrong. This is not what Satoshi wanted. He wanted bitcoins to be SPENT. By holding you are degenerating bitcoin.

Look the past year charts for an indication of what might come in the months to come.
Crypto investment might not be the best option for the ones with week hands. You don't lose unless you sell..

Now is the right time to purchase bitcoin as its price is lower compared to its price before.  We all know that bitcoin price has been and always going up and down.  It is just so normal.  I likewise advised my friend to just hold her bitcoin and wait for its price to goes up again.

Why not? This is the best time to get into the market because all the coins are at a discount. It doesn't makes sense at all to sell your coins in this crisis because you will just lose your investment, Right? If you are going to wait till it moons then you must be in it for the long haul. Crypto's (well some of them) are really good for long term investors. Just tell your friend that this is just another test that we can hurdle overtime.

And no need to panic, on the contrary this is really a golden opportunity to buy and stack up your wallets.


That's why we always tell newbies not to sell. They are the first one to be shaken in the prices moves downtrend. Experienced traders didn't even blink an eye when the price is going down. But for the bounce back, no one can tell for certain, one week, one month. But this trend will not last long I'm sure of that.

maybe the best strategy  .. everything that drops will bounce back ..the more it drops the more it bounce back higher..

New year usually has big correction. We must remeber that in the beggining of december bitcoin price was $9k and suddenly went to $20k and now we got back to $9k again.
There are many FUD and bad news these days and bitcoin dont have enoght strenght to recover yet, we must hold as you said.

Bitcoin has already 'mooned' and hovering around $8000 to me is a fair price for a cryptocurrency developed as a means of payment and not for hodling or speculating. Bitcoin at $20k to $50k only brings with it high transaction fees and congestion of the bitcoin network which we experienced a few weeks ago.

Hodl responsibly dude, just my two cents. No one can predict if btc will moon again or if it just stays on the pad. That's how the market goes. There's a handful of potential coins out there, don't just focus on one.  ::)

let just say holding is just the safe way to keep money for a long time, however we depend too much on the fluctuation of the market, so it comes with the risks of loosing money when the price drop drastically. Moreover, holding too long may not bring us the high chance of getting to moon, the market always fluctuate that we can not know exactly how long should be hold.

and if looking at last year's chart, I think it's not weird with the current circumstances. it's just more drastic in price declines.
and if you choose to buy more, I recommend buying it in the third month of the year....

Your advice to everyone is a good way to stop lost of investment but you can not control their emotions in times of dropping so dip like today because they are keep worrying and doubting bitcoin will never rise again. BTW buy more at dip and sell at high

This would be a much better idea than to panic and sell. Holding is absolutely more necessary to earn profit in the future. No backdrop on the market price of Bitcoin is permanent and there's a high probability that its price will eventually increased as what usually happens and based on the past years of Bitcoin.

I agree because selling at dip doesn't make you profitable but the main problems is every new investors does selling at panic and FUD then regret a lot at rising time. Just let them do what they want it is their decision then laugh when they regret.

Holding your bitcoin till the price reaches maximum is the only option to get huge profit .If the price is dump means, you have to just hold.When the price is pump means you can get some profit. If you hold your coin for longer periods mean, you will get that much profit. Hold is better than of panic selling .

Yeah , only hold the amount that you can efford to lose then risk your life in it . But i think sometime you really have to step up and make a big risk and that could brings you a huge advantage ( in the right situation only not in every one)..

Selling or bailing out completely is not needed unless someone has invested more than they were willing to lose. Although with the current trend you could sell and get back in if price was to start to rise again.
If anything the current situation could lead to whales getting in at a lower price than many who are getting worried.

I believe the bitcoin will rise a lot more then what it is now.
Few years from now i think he will climb up to 100k.
Now is a pretty good time to purchase more coin, but remember it is still a risky investment so do not put money that you can't afford losing.

To convince your friends I think you have to show bitcoin charts from year to year, that bitcoin is every early year is always like this so must be extra patient your friend should be positive because this is the right time to buy bitcoin because bitcoin prices go down.

A present is rather good time to buy BTC. I think BTC price will be 20k+ in several months. BTC pumps and dumps is classic criptocurrency market :)

The next few months are going to be rough, we get rekt until about mid year, where I see bitcoin going below 4k. Hopefully there will be some investment vehicles for institutional money to pour in by then, if that happens then we'll see a multi trillion dollar crypto total market cap.

Well, the best time to purchase any coin you have been dreaming to acquire is now, most coins are on red so even the best of them is better to get now.

It is always best to buy bitcoin when FUD is around.  This means the price will be lower that you can say you buy bitcoin at a discounted price.  I do agree that to be able to capitalize in profit, it is best that we hodl when bitcoin price crash and much better if we invest more since we all know that bitcoin always break its ATH when it comes from a crash.

 yeah, Hodl toll it moons again. bitcoin will rise again. this is not the first case that bitcoin had decreased its value, actually there were many times in the past but after the dip, the price is unstopable it rose into its peak. so just hodl , it will go rise again and we will all fly to the moon. this dip in bitcoin is just normal . don't panic..Relax and hodl.
