nano s also supports erc20 tokens. i have both. i like the trezor better but the nano s supports a few coins that trezor doent. a trezor + nano ledger s are the top hardware wallets to go. all the compatible coins have been posted already in this post before. most of the new projects are ICOs or erc-20 tokens I guess. you can store them at mytherwallet (MEW) and open MEW through e.g. ledger. - this is the safest way to go. Post by: vapourminer on February 03, 2018, 01:22:05 AM i would be careful of just downloading wallets from new coins. some coins and wallets are pretty shady and its possible a wallet can compromise your machine, letting them steal not only those coins, but coins from other wallets on that machine. not to mention any other stuff on the computer.
best bet for unvetted coin wallets is run each in its own virtual machine. that way they shouldnt be able to mess with the other wallets in others VMs if they turn out to be malevolent. you might want to open a new thread for each coin and ask what wallets are best for that coin. |
