Title: Where is the Bitcoin data stored in the Android phone?
Post by: zhu_lianbing on September 03, 2013, 12:57:39 PM
I download an Android phone Bitcoin wallet application from Google play. I can receive and send Bitccoin by this application. But I could not find any data downloaded by this application. Where is the Bitcoin data stored in the Android phone?

What do you mean by "bitcoin data"? Is it the blockchain(global transaction history) or your wallet (keys needed to access your bitcoins).

I mean Bitcoin data both for blockchain and wallet.dat(or similar file as in PC client).  I couldn't find blockchain nor wallet.dat file in Android phone.

You can save files directly on the device's internal storage. By default, files saved to the internal storage are private to your application and other applications cannot access them (nor can the user). When the user uninstalls your application, these files are removed.

Where is the Bitcoin data stored in the Android phone?

All locations of files are documented in this readme:

Why does the blockchain display 0.0003 but my phone displays 0.00003?
