So, I had some leftover BTC that I was intending to move over to hardware. Haven't used Electrum in a while so I updated to the latest version, and for the first day my balance was correct. Fees were high so I said ehh, I'll wait a day. Now my balance isn't syncing. Checked with some other software wallets I have and they are perfectly fine. I have tried changing the server and nothing. Rename your electrum_data folder and run electrum again, starting it from scratch and readding everything and see if that fixes it. If you're not bothered about when your TX confirms once you sent it, uncheck the dynamic fees, and check edit fees manually. Go back to your wallet and send a transaction moving the slider to one point just below the lowest fee you are able to use (I did it and got a confirmation within 54 minutes a few days ago - yours might not be as fast but it's worth the gamble to reduce fees).
