Title: Selling 100 coins $13 each
Post by: RyanWebber on July 14, 2011, 03:46:14 AM
I'm looking to sell about 200 coins before the end of friday at current market price at time of sale(currently 13.6 usd each) . Need some weekend market play money. Money will be sent first. I will allow a mediator or escrow if requested.

Smaller transactions are fine by me as well.
Payments will be via Dwolla only at the moment.

If you are interested please shoot me a PM.

Getting alot of possible scam responses...Let me clarify to make it simple. No I won't send first and take a risk of getting scammed you idiots(not everyone). This is quite simple... I will use a mediator or a legit escrow if you don't trust me, no big deal, happy to use whatever makes you happy. This should solve any problems with trust/security.

Stop messaging me to send first, It's quite annoying when I have stated my terms. I'm not going to fall for It. Kthx.

Quick update, I'm not doing static prices any more. Price will be based off current mtgox last price values at the time of sale. Still 130ish coins left.

Do we have a few people who have made the purchases on here to confirm this is real?

Up to them if they want to post. I will use BTCrow if you're worried about security.

why not just sell on mtgox if you're going on the same rates and Dwolla only?
I'd be interested if there were other options, because if I had money in Dwolla right now I'd just buy more on Mtgox...

Problem is my withdraw limit on MTgox is at its months limit and until they get back to me about raising my withdraw limit I pretty much can't sell there since I need the funds ASAP.

How does BTCrow work? I looked at the site and I didn't see anything about what type of funds it accepts?

Is this right: The buyer pays BTCrow money, then the seller sends the funds directly to the buyer, then BTC releases the money to the seller?

Doesn't Dwolla take some time to withdraw from? I have never used it, I am curious.

Withdrawing to an outside source takes a couple business days, yes. However, I am buying a laptop from someone and they have no interest in BTC just Dwolla. I'll also be building some forum selling rep. So it's really a kill two birds with one stone situation.

Yes it is right, Buyer (Bitcoin holder) sent funds to our escrow services. Then Seller (other curency holder) ,once saw that the bitcoins have been received and confirmed into the escrow, send the $ to the buyer. Once buyer receive the funds or after a determined period by both party, he can now release the  funds.

We accept only bitcoins for the moment, that's why the buyer (bitcoin holder) always initiate the transaction. So we do only hold bitcoins not other currency. but it works for the current transaction into this thread.

Beware. I would wait until eggcellent responds to waiting buyers before purchasing anything from him. He sold the same item to 2 different buyers in another thread and is not responding to another buyer that purchased something for 85btc. If this is a misunderstanding, I will erase or edit this post.
