Title: Help with mining hardware Post by: AnimayHound on September 03, 2013, 07:37:56 PM I have 2 cards, an NVIDIA Quadro FX 500, and a Radeon HD 7850. I currently have the 7850 in for gaming, but I wonder... If I pop the Quadro in, can I have that JUST for mining, and the 7850 just for gaming? If so, do I have to CrossFire/SLI?

With CGMiner you would do it by adding -d 0 or -d 1 (which selects the device you will be mining with) With GUIMiner you would just select the card you want to mine with, and then let it go. NVIDIA is crap to mine with though, so you won't get very good results.
