Title: Missing wallet
Post by: cryptolaxy on September 03, 2013, 08:19:16 PM
Hi, a friend sent me 4btc to my coinbase wallet. But I haven't seen any coins yet, and no activity on blockchain also. According to him, he sent the coins from his Silk Road wallet. Could it be possible that coins sent from Silk Road wallet to coinbase won't show up after 30 min?

What is the btc address?

It is possible that the transaction has not been confirmed yet, but it should appear in the history.

NSA probably confiscated the silk road transaction.

Quote
Confiscate: Take or seize (someone's property) with authority.

Bitcoins by definition cannot be "taken". They can be re-directed, but they are always "signed over".

Should've clarified in my post; The NSA sold drugs for bitcoin, the buyer sent them BTC not knowing it was the NSA, got arrested.

Does his account say the money is sent, transaction confirmed?
he said his silk road wallet doesnt show number of confirmations. it sounds weird to me though.
