Title: POS currencies not viable long term?
Post by: michelangelo5000 on February 03, 2018, 02:10:47 PM
What you think about this? Cryptocurrencies using POS ant not viable long term because of the low liquidity, making them crash in the end. I mean currencies like Pivx, not platforms like Neo etc.

Depends, PoS currencies are kind of a gamble because as you say there's not much incentive for them to really rise in price. But Diamond is a PoS currency with 3+ years on its name and it's doing pretty well. Decred is another PoS currency that's about 1-2 years old and does pretty well. It can be worth the wait I suppose to see which PoS currency sticks it out and survives crashes and time and go with that.
