According to me there has been enough correction and dip in the prices recently.
Almost no major crypto has shown any positive growth this year which is quitr disappointing.
So when do you think will the bitcoin,ethereum prices be back up to what they were in the begging of this year?
And would they rise further?

Little by little we'll see price change in a couple of weeks. But it's imho.
As 1btc is always 1btc =)

I don't know about any major crypto not making gains this year, because several of my top cryptos have made some gains in BTC. I do think prices will get back to that point but probably will take a month or two from now to get there.

We will not see the price to go straight forward, the volatility is very high and I hope the corrections is done so we can expect the price to go up now. Its pumping slowly, a new rally to go higher this month may happen just hold on this thing cause those who believe will receive great return on time.

In my opinion until the end of march we will not see any positive growth in market. Between march and june we can see dramatical rises on market. I am waiting bitcoin price between $60.000 and $100.000. Also ethereum investors can gain more profit.

imho i have no idea, anything can happen. gouverments and banks are scared an trying to do something about crypto. as it is not well know to the main public i hope they do not succeed.

as we have seen a few fake news post and we have a dip from people in panic selling.. so i think for the moment it is hard to see what the future will bring

Many technical signals are indicating that the BTC markets may experience a bullish move in coming days following several weeks of heavy selling.
Cryptocurrencies have never died and many believers feel the value of this economy will likely continue to rise over the long term. Those who say cryptocurrencies are in a death spiral have not looked at the whole picture.

one down, its hard the value will be normal again. but, maybe in middle of March, all the price off this coin will back to normal. but for rise further i think no, cause this year the value of all coin is very unstable.

YES, they would rise again in this year. They have to decrease cause all coin have already increased more than 10 times. Nothing can give you as much profit as the cryptocurrency in 2017. That is why the price must to go down so that it can rise again strongly ;)

Bitcoin can still be correcting. Remember how fast the price went from 1K to 10K, then 10K to 19K. That was actually really fast. If it corrects, then there is no doubt it can go back to the price before it made a burst to 10K.

And about altcoin, do not just base on dollar price because it is based on bitcoin price. See also the price in satoshi so you can see if it is really a bear or not. Sometimes the price went up in terms of satoshi but still low in dollars because bitcoin price is tanking. Look at ethereum. It is a good example.

This year it will pump again so don't disappointing this time. Because every year starting this happen you should check past three years chart. But it is temporary issues automatically it will recover after March or April I believe this is right time to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum because as soon as possible we are all getting 2x profit this platform. So try to invest soon else just hold your cryptocurrency also best way to save our money.

Regarding the dip of altcoins, my opinion would be this current situation is just very temporary and the rise will come to follow in the coming months. It is better to have a long term investment for this altcoins and just patiently wait to regain its price value soon.

Yes all coins for now has been unstable and we cannot say when it will rise again. Maybe this coming mid of the year it will recover. Because I also hope this price is temporary and were seeing the rising price on bitcoin after this big correction.

I understand our feelings now, but stop to worry about this, move the mind dude. Think about how we can get profit from the current market conditions.

Remember everyone is hoping the correction and decline is over and the market can recover. Some people also predict that the price increase in this year will exceed the increase from last year.

Most coins are trending together in this correction so the correction is likely end for the entire crypto
market at same time. Going by charts, it can be over soon. Just need more than one up days to indicate it
and breaking above current downtrend lines.

I think we will see a good rise in price the coming months, hopefully as soon as march.

Cryptocurrencies have been on a roller coaster ride lately. Sharp upturns have been followed by sharp downturns, with each upturn and downturn lasting only a few weeks or a few days. Investing in cryptocoins or tokens is highly speculative and the market is largely unregulated. We can't tell exactly what’s going to happen with price. But hopefully for the coming months, we can see a significant supply and demand imbalance at the current price levels. We just have to wait a little bit more.

There are few ways to look at it:
1) Making a prediction based on last time the bitcoin bumped happened gained a high value then settled on one value for the whole year that came after that one then it went wild again.
2) The price will go down as bitcoin rush quiets down, until the next bitcoin rush , if you know what I mean, the hype about crypto was insane the last of 2017, so it will take some time for people to forget about it, then hit the news and headlines again.
3) My prediction for now: Price is down only as pull back from the insane bump it went into for the last 2 months, it will consolidate some more then when the lightning network hits the market or any other decent product hits the market it will make the buzz and the pump again.
4) the most undesired and unlikely but still possible : bitcoin might be starting to pop up as a bubble, which is as I said unlikely.

Still no one can tell on when bitcoin and ethereum will back on their prices where we used to see them stay at good price. Speculations say that they will be back in the mid of the year and by the end of the year will be healthy.
We all believe that it will rise further and this year is the year of challenges for bitcoin and all crypto's as well.

Currently, altcoins had dip its price value and no one knows when it will rise back to the usual market price stability but I do believe this will take a little bit long to make its increase. Be sure to hold it still and will have to consider a long term investment for this right now and just wait for the right time for its recovery. With regards to Ethereum prediction for this year, I guess this will make an improvement in the coming months where its demand as a currency is built on a blockchain with several applications
and the other is a possible investment for vehicle that keeps appreciating its value for now.

I think maybe in the mid year the price and value of cryptocurrency will rise. Now that many country try is already recognizing cryptocurrency as the new currency . The currency’s value increased in the run-up to December and the first half of January, but it still has quite a lot of potential for future growth. That might seem highly unlikely. But the analyst predicting Bitcoin’s 2018 surge has been right before . Bitcoin has struggled since the end of 2017.

I don't have any predictions about the rise in the value of altcoin or bitcoin, my idea is just like when bitcoins and altcoins are in demand as of now, we will expect the price to rise while if the supply goes down, there is also changes in its price to drop. I was expecting that at the end of the year bitcoin and altcoin is going to rise, but I was disappoint when I see that its price now was dropping.

Cryptocurrency will never die, right now the value are low and it takes some month to gain back the rise in the value of cryptos. This year cryptocurrency values are quite disappointing. But keep in mind that crypto will never die and dont get panic about the fake news.

I think Bitcoin and ETH are hard to rise for a short time. Now governments in all countries have started to ban the ICO and restrict the trading of bitcoin. Therefore, the bubble of Bitcoin should be properly digested

I think the market is going to big crash now no one imagin but after this month market is stable becase some cion are price stable and and market showing positive

OP this is speculation so need to move it,i think it's so high now but base on this few years it's hard now to trust the value of digital currency because a lot of coins are already run now so the price of btc going a little down but still it's high now it's so hard to predict because even some bad news are coming everyday here the price still going high day by day and going low also.

I think we will raise in summer for sure back to 15-20k. First is hard time new year celebrating , and now chinese new year.

If you've been in crypto for long, you know it is part of growth of all altcoin that has  real value in the future. You only disappoint if you are only looking crypto as a short investment. But for those who hold it for long term will not be affected because it is part of the ecosystem.

consider the prices from 1st dec 2017.you can see the prices are still in good range.one thing is clear that it is not a bubble it is a semi stable market

when prices go up in general? previous year there was a price rise in summer:)

Hopefully, before the end of February we should see some good and sustainable bounce up.

i saw an ad recently and the guy was talking about april 2nd will be the time. so prepare now and wait till then. the bull run will come.

Growth will be both positive and negative. Bitcoin seems to have a slight effect on the change in the price of alts, we see the rise of all coins at the moment. And it began exactly with the growth of bitcoin, so for now there is nothing to worry about.

This price dip started in early of the year, and I think is the norm after xmas break over the years. By the second quarter, I believe these major crypto currencies like ripple, ether and bitcoins will start rising.

once bitcoin goes on a bull run. all alt coins will go on that run too. we just need bitcoin to rise . the one alt coins that doesnt bull run. will be left behind and fall to lower rankings.

Price correction will take some more days because already China , South Korea and India fud overcoming . Even Indian traders not doing much trade in Indian exchanges . Still China plan to regulate exchange .But America moving positive sign by giving approval for bitcoin mining with power subsidy.

Viewing it from my own perspective, one should know that the falling in price is not new to cryptocurrency if we could reference to some years back and it is normal as well because it is always the right time to invest, this happened due to some corrections in exchange, and I hope between the month of March to April things  will come in place and it will be a very good era for everyone to harvest. Endurance is the best.

"Quite disappointing"? In February last year bitcoin was below  $1,000 and by December above  $19,000 and this pattern may play out again. Don't feel disappointed because you bought higher than were the price is today. Be reassure that bitcoin and altcoins are going to go up very soon.

All this games and manipulations with "bad" news has one target - to buy BTC for cheap price and then pump it to the new highs. So, very soon market will go up again.

It's hard to make a prediction right now, this is the time when you reflect if you are comfortable with what you have or sell it at a lost, but the blockchain technology is here to stay and the government will eventually find a way to incorporate it in the future.
