Yes, the popular ann may indicate to that there are so many people in focus and the community is active, but for the ICO, I think you still need to know more about the team's background information, which I think is more important than anything else. So some trash ICOs run bounty program, free airdrop, refferal to increase members in telegram group. And tons of scammer do their scam in telegram when public sale starts.
