While I found out that copper membership is an option for Newbies to pay a small fee for certain privileges (esp. posting images) I still have no clue what a gold member is. Maybe there exists a silver membership as well? It would be very nice to have this information added to one of the stickied threads dealing with ranks here. There is no gold member or silver member. They are custom titles which some users are capable of setting. Regardless, there is certainly not a gold or silver membership you can buy... at the moment. This must be the case, because hilariousandco is not on the donator's list. Maybe all moderators? That is it, a moderator privilege. mprep (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=51173) is a Diamond Member which I'd guess is some sort of moderator rivalry going on. Also, there are one or two other users that got to have a custom title by asking nicely for it. |
