Title: What happened?
Post by: monbux on September 06, 2013, 12:34:05 AM
Forum was down for about an hour for me just now.. What happened?  Did the site get attacked?  Cause it was still loading though, taking about 30 seconds every time though.

Yup, its so slow for me too.  I keep having to refresh every single page lots of times until it finally works.  Usually just an error.  And this reply  might not post.

Normal speed on my end just started a few minutes. Finally, the NSA Data Center in Utah is finished indexing this site.

Thanks to the fast response of PIA's Andrew Lee and NFOrce, the attack was stopped (for now). The attacker was flooding the server with UDP packets.

Good job, if you forum was still hosted by MtGox it'll still be down.
