Huge FUD coming in all the time from Korea, USA and China. This is by far the hardest hit Bitcoin ever took. If Bitcoin survives to these FUDs. 20K will be a first and easy target for Bitcoin. Keep HODLING!

This is hardly the biggest hit Bitcoin ever took.

It survived the Gox hack, and the Goxing a couple of years later... and those were proportionally MASSIVE events.
It survived a couple of years where the only thing you'd get out of people when talking about bitcoin was "oh the internet money used to buy hard drugs, child porn, and illegal guns".

We are not seeing a bigger "hit" than that.

Yes, so much fud is going around, from south korea to japan to china  and now in india,they will take down crypto currency in their country.
Hope after this we can see the green candle stick running up! :)

While I agree that they were worse I also think the times that they were in need to be considered. At the time of Mt. Gox bitcoin was still in its relative infancy and not widely known and so it was not big news around the world, there were still few everyday investors and so it largely went under the radar. Fast forward to recently and there's been a lot of new money from every day people, if these guys get burned then it makes the news worldwide and it's hard for investors to then trust in bitcoin again in the future.

This is the hard truth guys! Bitcoin really received a lot of FUDS right now and it is so hard to take that these fuds made the price dramatically go down. And I think it is not that healthy for bitcoin itself. So I suggest a hodl guys. Just hodl and probably we can make a way for this. Goodluck.

People will invest where there is money to be made.  If Bitcoin starts another run, it could easily get back to $14,000 levels, but it just needs something to spark it.  Maybe some major announcement, I don't know.  But rest assured if it happens it will happen fast, crypto exchanges will all get jammed up again, and you'll end up missing most of the move.  I'd rather buy now at a good price, and when it is easy to buy.

You are right, after this issue and after South Korea could overcome this we will for sure become successful, don't just see the price, consider your account as deactivated so you will not get hurt whenever the price of your money is slowly going down, be patient and JUST hold as much as we can guys.

Problem is that most people do not get crypto world. Prices tend to go up when people start wanting the coins/token/ico's and down when people do not want them.
As of today prices are crashing dramatically 'cause people are afraid thanks to Banks FUDS. People are selling. But it will settle soon. Coins get their injections when day traders, and regular people see that coins are real and start wanting them, so they buy. And soon they will buy again.
 But people that are selling now are not the real cryptos business men. They just are the naive guys that pretend to get rich in a couple of month. They just want easy money (and we all know that doesn't exist) and when the FUDS start, they just run away. Once we get rid of them, prices settle.
Once prices settle new comers will buy. prices will rise up again.

I have no doubt that bitcoin will overcome this hard blow, and therefore will be strengthened in such a way that it will surpass its highest historical record of monetary value.

after South Korea can overcome this, surely we will be successful, do not just look at the price, assume your account has been disabled so you will not hurt whenever your money price slowly dropped. , be patient and just hold as many as we can guys.

Bitcoin is going to definetely overcome this but I don't think it will rise, investors are scared and it seems people will not be willing to buy bitcoin above $10K again for a while.

I don't think it is the hardest crash of bitcoin price because in history also the price crashes are worse than the current situation when compared in terms of percentage,but it recovered from those crashes lately so now also the price will recover.So as you said keep holding.

I still believe that bitcoin will return to the moon so that at this moment I still hold it because if it must be sold now then I will get a huge loss. I'm still waiting for that time to happen. Enjoy this game.

I doubt the ongoing dip is the result of FUDs. Because the Korea, USA and China news is taking round in the market since months now. But I am particularly worried about the decline which is happening since last one month.

On 5th of January, the price of one bitcoin was 17447 USD and today exactly after a month, the price of one bitcoin is 6756 USD. Thia is a decline of 61%. I have not incurred a huge loss because I have been accumulating since a long time now, but imagine the situation of the new investors those who have invested during December last year.

I am sure this decline is not due to any FUD or something similar. A bigger game is being played in background and we apparently have no idea about it. And this missing information is making me sick.

Even though I have again started buying in small amounts now, but I really hope big players will come to the market soon. Really bad time it is.

I agree to this points which the thing that are happening now is indeed the result of the 2nd thing being mentioned above which is its always been treated to have that negative effects on engaging on bitcoin and results are? We are seeing it already which bitcoin is already being prohibited and being banned and also into other altcoin in the market but yet these things arent enough to make bitcoins would go its price to the floor. It can really survive no matter what as long the interest of people would be still there.

If you see the history of BTC & examine the worse crash of BTC and then rise again after considerable time,it would not be new thing for you.BTC is basically storage asset.The current price fall is the result of FUD may be.USA,South Korea & China are struggling to regulate BTC,due to this many shortcut investors are selling BTC due to which price is low,but this is temporary and good for BTC.It would bounce back with full power and would break record of its highest value $19783.I think it may be part of some background strategy,by continuous price falling,some financial institution would start buying,potential investor are also expected to buy massively in upcoming future due to which demand will be high and price will again soar.On the basis of all of the above i can say that BTC always recovered after every crash,and in 2018 it would reach to $30,000 some time is required.

If the Chinese people bypass the ban on bitcoin, it would certainly be easier.
Almost sure that ban for China will be, so BTC has a big challenge to overcome. If BTC overpass the problem, it will be unbreakable.

There's nothing to overcome, a correction is a correction, even if it's deep like this one. It should be expected that after a huge increase in price there will be a huge correction and some people are doing all they can to make it as deep as possible. Remember that price will always start from a higher point then it did during the previous pump. It's a normal thing for Bitcoin because it's user base is constantly growing. Even if we were to fall to $5000 now it would still be a huge success for Bitcoin because a year before we were dreaming to see $5000 even for a day.

Yeah, if this storm is weathered and the new investors lose little or no money (after few / months or hodling, ofcourse), there will be no stopping BTC. I really hope that it happens.

No, it will not happen soon, sure. However, why do not you think it can reach this top again? Let us say, it might happen close to December, why not?

bad news bad news everywhere this is make market crash that make market panic. i dont care what media and news say about negative about bitcoin. if bitcoin down i will buy as i can. i know in 2020 btc will touch 1 million usd..

It's nice to have a goal and aim high but you're overdoing it. With the altcoin market growing as fast as it is it's going to be impossible for BTC to reach 1 million. If the cash that's in cryptocurrencies right now was directed into 1 currency it would be possible, but the higher the price of BTC the less people will want to invest in it. They will see other, cheaper coins and see their chances of profit to be higher with those.

Bitcoins will be the most advance development of technology to happen to mankind  if it can prove it is strong upon all the negative news and attach it receive so far . By just year time bitcoins can be trading around 100,000$

I totally agree with you mate. And, my research tells the same thing. If bitcoin overcome this bad situation then bitcoin will overcome its previous price record. Lots of negativity is spreading through the world but after day, the reality is bitcoin will rise very soon. Everyone needs to relax and don't be panic.

You have missed the FUD related to india about banning crypto currencies which also hit the bitcoin market very worse.Even if bitcoin overcomes these FUDs,still $20,000 is very hard to acheive and we could expect atleast crossing $10,000.

Just stay put, don't get too panicked about the price of the coins you have. There will be a time to sell it, just not now if you don't need the money.

Bitcoin will probably survive this big hit. I know Bitcoin will have a time to shine once again that is why I am not scared even a little bit. For sure, the price of Bitcoin will go to the moon after this situation. Investors of Bitcoin should relax. Panicking won’t help them. They should have faith in Bitcoin.

From the start of 2018, FUDs after FUDs after FUDs are being spread into the internet causing the price of bitcoin to crash by almost 50-60% from its previous ATH buy I know thay bitcoin will overcome this FUDs and sooner it will increase again and reach a new ATH. I am very optimistic when it comes to bitcoin and now that LN will be released soon, I know that this LN will make the price of bitcoin back on track again.

There are many times already that bitcoin has been crashed but whay happens after a few months? It will slowly increases again and I hope it will happen again this year.
