Title: The ERC-20 Token Transfer might have Failed
Post by: otandelapaz on February 05, 2018, 05:03:21 PM
"The ERC-20 Token Transfer might have Failed (ErrCode: unable to locate corresponding Transfer event log), check with sender."

I would just like to share this.

I was trying to transfer some tokens (PIN, pincoin) to an exchange and the transaction always failed with the message above (etherscan). I googled about it and saw some links but there's no answer to the error.

I remembered EQL (Equal), they required us to left few tokens to our wallet if where going to send some to the exchange. I tried it with PIN and it worked. I don't know if this is the only answer to the error above, but it works for me even if I lowered my GWEI (1st try is 12 the next is only 4).

I hope this also works to other tokens that's having the same problem.

As you said maybe that is how the code of the token was written maybe all token received can't be transferred.

It is very strange of course to observe this, the more so I generally see the first error. Did you try to write to the technical support? Because I would in your place have done exactly so that in the future people simply did not encounter such a situation.

I tried to send EQL half qty of my token to ED. But it failed again. Did you resolve PIN transaction same way

I am pretty sure coins must be somewhat locked or in other words needs something to happen to unlock. It may be about time or general identity correction. Must be something in its codes. Ask developers.

Really? I never know about such thing before. Try to contact customers service of the wallet. May be they can fix that, I think if there is a problem then they will always can fix it.

It seems you are not putting token contract address and decimal correctly, try to re-add the custom address and try to send it again. It might have solved your problem.

Maybe you are putting wrong contract address or decimal of token.

Try and try.

If you do the process of adding the token correctly in Myetherwallet of course you will not experience it, check the contract address and decimal token based on the recommendations of the token developer team.

dont include the decimals, always send tokens in whole number to avoid that kind of situation. because decimals doesnt even have any value in the market.
or if you really like to include the decimals then include only the first two digits when sending token.

You do not move it all. Leave at least one PIN. I met the same situation and did so. You should try..

Guys, Solved issue with EQL transaction. Keep 250 token in wallet or exchange and use balance. Recently I show 250 were burnt while every transaction I performed for two times
