Title: BTCNINJA.TK Weekly Lotto Post by: MRKLYE on September 06, 2013, 10:31:11 AM Alright folks! I've decided to start hosting a weekly lotto on my site BTCNINJA.TK!
Current weekly jackpot: 0.33BTC Next lotto drawing will be Friday, September 13th, 2013 at 6pm Central Time There will be a limit of 99 tickets sold and the roll will be performed on Just-dice.com! I will randomize the seed 3 times and then roll. Whattever number comes up in the first 2 numbers (XX.xx.xx where big XX is ticket number) will be chosen the winner! If not all 99 tickets are sold I will reroll until a bought ticket number comes up! Initially I was going to buy all remaining tickets but winning your own lotto is a huge conflict of interest, and the fallout from last week still lingers.. -_- Tickets for this lotto can be purchased for 0.01BTC and the odds of winning and jackpot amount will be varied on the amount of people entered in the weeks draw. Each ticket purchased will be given a number corresponding to the order they were sold in(If you purchase 3 tickets for 0.03BTC you would get tickets #1, #2 and #3 or alternatively #34, #35 and #36 if the numbers have already been bought). Every Friday around 6PM Central Time I will be randomly picking a number via a roll that just-dice.com RNG will provide! The jackpot winner will receive 95% of the total jackpot that week and the lotto will retain 1% to be used to pay TX fees / run the lotto and help fund the free monthly lotto featured on the site held on the 15th of every month! I will be streaming the roll live via a join.me link! This should put to rest any fears of draw fixing or rerolls! What I'm telling is that there is no way we can actually know you won't do "multirolls". Here, it picked number 27, and I can put any time in the picture. I'm also not accusing you, just saying that it is way too easy to run an unfair lottery this manner. The third-party service provided at a price by random.org mostly solve this class of problems. He was streaming something a week or so ago and it worked really well. No need for viewers to install any programs; just visit a URL and you get to see the stream. I think he was using https://join.me/ I looked into it, but I don't think that have a Linux version (for streaming - the viewer works for Linux users).
