I'm trying to figure out a right time to buy some more bitcoin. I'm having trouble deciding.

Would you buy right now (price over 7K USD) or wait to see if you can get it much cheaper?

I would say to start buying in small quantities, so you are covered if price moves in either direction (nobody knows which direction it is going to go for sure)

It "looks like" the price kinda stabilized between 7050 - 7300 $. "Could" go up from here. Could also go down a little bit more, but I think we have nearly reached the bottom for this years low. Just my opinion god knows what will happen...nah not even him.

Do not wait for lower prices. Better to do it from now on we can not predict when the price will be lower again. For example the price does not go down and keep going up when you will buy and invest. So do as early as possible and do not delay anymore. In the business there must be a name of inflation and deflation now, so we must be faster to take decisions and do not delay anymore.

It's better to buy bitcoin than alt coin or stocks. Bitcoin is going to reach bottom very soon and stabilize around 7k. It should be 20k by March or April.

This is exactly what so many people were saying when it reached $14.5k (after it had peaked at around $19k). When it went to $11.5k again so many people were saying it couldn't go any lower. Same again when it fell to $9k. Now the same comments again at $7k. Clearly you cannot tell the bottom of the cycle.

If you really want to buy bitcoin now I'd say do it in chunks. So if you have $100k to invest, buy $10k now, wait for a bit and see what happens, then after prices reach a new plateau buy a bit more and keep going. It'll be less risky that way and will allow you to take advantage of different market movements as you go along.

The rides not over yet. I would wait to buy. I think the floor is at $3k  Too much Negative News hammering BTC prices right now.

I'm all into Alts right now even though they are dropping with the price of BTC They are alot more stable.

Wait for a lower price I would say.  But I am only a mere newby with no points.  And told earlier I must read a dictionary.  But in the end it's up to you. 

If you are looking to hold for long term, you can buy now, because the actual price is low, and the price is not guaranteed to keep dropping down, it can increase again in the near future . So even buying now is profitable, because the price will go up sooner or later, and this way you generate good profit.

But now, It's now or never. Bitcoin will not drop lower than this. All the FUD is over now, bitcoin has dropped and now it will rise again. G20 regulations will be mild, so nothing to worry about. Bitcoin could reach 50K this year.

I personally believe, this is the right time to buy. Bitcoin price might go down to $5k but i would say start buying now. But if i had money, i would but Ether instead of bitcoin.

I would not buy anything for 2 days,  it will be interesting to see how the market reacts to the USA congress hearing tomorrow,  we could see a large dump sending BTC down into the low 5k range

I think it's probably going to keep dropping.  But, if you have the money to spare, you could buy a bit now and then keep purchasing a bit more over a period of time.

The better choice is to buy now and hold it i am pretty sure that on the next few days or weeks Bitcoin price will go rise again . I prefer to buy now than to wait for the price to become lower because there is a possibility that whales takes this opportunity to buy or hoard Btc and if they do price will surely go up so Buying now is also a good move to make profit in the future. You just need to trust your own instinct.

If you believe the price will go down, you should buy the cheapest price. That's when you're sure. But my advice, buy with the current price is not a bad choice. and best of all, be wise to use your fiat money to buy this highly volatile currency.

all depends on yourself actually because every value of the cheap price is different from one to another but in my opinion the price of bitcoin or altcoin average has experienced a very sharp decline so it is right to buy it now

Don't know what shell i suggest you to do but 7K dollars is good entry , if it will drop more it should not be very importat, but if you look at long term , let's say 6 month it could rise quite a lot .

You're not sure if bitcoin will goes down more because $7000 per Bitcoin is very dip in bitcoin All Time High last few months so that is very risky that you buy more in the very dip stage $7000 is very safe entry to invest more in BTC rather than waiting for it to dump more what if tomorrow or other next few days bitcoin will goes up and the dip stage that you waiting are not happen anymore? so you will FOMO and buy it for high price like $8000 - $9000? bitcoin has drop has this ealier year. so it might will be up again after it down. so i think this will be a great opportunities to buy bitcoin when it still down. this still ealier in the year so im very confident the price will be come back more then 10k$ in no time.

You will hear 'buy and hodl' over and over again and yet know one really knows. People would have told you at everymark on the way down that now was the time to buy as it 'wont' get any lower. buy at 15k, 13k, 11k, 9k etc etc and here we are sub 7k.

No one has a clue as much as they 'think' they do. Most of those people could have double, triple their BTC stash right now if they sold and bought back in lower. They live and die by HODL.

The issue with what is happening is BTC was getting a lot of Mainstream investors on its climb up. They are all burnt, the bad news about the drop worldwide has scared investors off permanently. If you want a high price in the future you need as many investors as possible.

People are also saying the bubble has not popped. The bubble has clearly popped, we are almost back to pre fork pricing. How can you not call a $20k - 6k and the loss in market cap across the board as a pop? Instead people blame it on bad news. Blame it on what you wish but it popped the bubble. The currency that we love so much should not be this volatile to news, it was meant to be resilient no matter what is going on in the world yet it is the most volatile currency out there.

We all hope it will rise but the truth is no one knows what will happen.......fingers crossed!

Checking the current which is $$6878. I'm experinced if I were I buy some bitcoin now and this remind the dip that happened in the year 2016 before bitcoin reach the $2100 price range. Therefore, bitcoin is so volatility and it can rise at any time.

Be better to wait for lower price to get more benefits. I guess the value of bitcoin still can go down, if buying right now you will regret when prices continue to fall.

I think that its already down and so instead of waiting for some more dip, you could better buy it now as the FUD that India would ban bitcoin has gone, it would once again start to increase.Its already low and don't consider it to fall more.Otherwise just as people missed a golden chance to buy cheaper bitcoins during august 1 fearing about hard fork,the same situation would happen for those who have not bought now.

If i'm in your shoes i'll wait a little longer and hold my fiat for now because the price of bitcoin could still decline down to $5,000 next week that's my speculation. Earlier it's at above $7,000 on preev now its looking to go $6,900.

We can't be sure about anything. Bitcoin could still drop, most of us don't want to see the price go down but we are still heading in that direction and it's not stopping.

Many people also confuse to decide when the best time to buy bitcoin. No one can figure out this so easy. Its sometime depending on our luck too.
Believe your inner power sometime works to decide the time of buying. Its not 100% work but sometime we need that power of believe.

I think this is a good time to buy right now because bitcoin will not fall lower than this and most likely the bitcoin will start back up again. if you want to survive in the long run then you can start buying it now. because the price is actually very low and the price can not be guaranteed to continue to fall because it can increase anytime, so if you buy now it will be very profitable because the price will rise again sooner or later and this way will make you can get a very profit big later.

Buy now. I think bitcoin reached it's lowest level this year. Buy now in small quantities. Also, I think bitcoin will increase gradually next week or this March. But hopefully, bitcoin can recover faster now.

For me i will still wait to the lower price of the bitcoin. I feel it will be down to the lowest just like last year. Well 7k is better to buy then coz i was buying usually when the bitcoin is around 200k-300k.

No one knows what will be the lowest price of bitcoin. But since it's way lower than before It is wise to buy now and continue buying even if it's going down. You'll earn more once it's back to a higher price.

Like others have said already, you can buy a portion. $8k for 1 whole bitcoin right now is a good deal but the price could easily drop to low $7k in the next 48 hrs. I believe in btc long term so I would buy the whole coin now instead of some. That $8k could be worth $250k in the next 4 years.

currently bitcoin grows slowly. if you have bought it yesterday, now you have earned a small profit. but it's better than not doing anything at all. Bitcoin right now are in abnormality stage but it was started to go up slowly  I think its better to buy more bitcoin until the price are in 7000k to 8000k$ rage and hold until it was fully recover.

I am new to bitcoin and looking to buy some now as it is indeed Low.... and buy more if it gets Lower and my buying power thus higher.
Related to that I was looking at the best site to purchase some with a credit card... all suggestions welcome....
Or to buy some tether dollars to be able to buy on kraken.
Tether dollars are supposedly better value as they are not incurring as high of an exchange fee, is that true ?

My prediction, the lowest price is in the range of $ 5000. I think there is much other bad news is out there and they are trying to make people panic and they release a news that will make people afraid to invest in cryptocurrency. but I think this will not take too long because people now is smart to choose what is good for them and they will know the truth. don't think too much about that news and you can search the other news and compare with your own so you can decide what you want to do later.

You should buy now since the price is very low. We can't predict what the next price is,but some says after chinese new year the price will increase big time again. As long as bitcoin price is below $10k it's still a good buy because if you buy in that range you can't have big losses but rather a good profit. Many are very speculative that bitcoim will touch at least $40k this year so if you buy now your investment will have a huge return.

Try to study the market to get some informations before deciding to buy. No one can exactly predict if the present price will going lower or higher. The price goes down to almost $5k recently but now goes up by $8k and might continue to appreciate in the coming days if there is no more negative news that affect it.

I think you don't loose anything if you buy it from now or wait for it to drop much lesser, the important thing is to buy Bitcoins when it dumps. Yes it is much better to buy it in a cheaper price than 7 thousand US dollars but I think buying it today with that price can be justifiable also for it dumps less than half of it. No matter what price you will buy it you can be sure that you will gain big profit from buying it.

I can say you can put small small buy orders according to your capital that is the best way to buy. Choosing what, how or when to go with your coins is a personal decision. Some times it tames strategy yet what important is how you will  manipulating it. It is the right or perfect time? Well if you have a second thought I suggest that you don't go. So you won't have some regrets after it.

At this juncture, it's very tough to say what price we have to get in. I say these are mile stone lows and can enter anywhere at these prices as averaging may reduce the losses as well and reap profits as well. Hence I suggest buying at any of the present prices is always beneficial.

I think waiting for it would be ideal if you know that it will go even lower. If not, buying right now wont hurt you unless the market fall. It is stable on 8k usd range right now and I think that the price can still fall so I suggest buying fraction by fraction is also good strategy.

According to my guesses, I will still wait because I think the bitcoin may continue to go down to 5k in March. I have watched the fluctuation of the bitcoin market for so long so that's the rating of my self . I will start buying bitcoin in early March rather than the present.

I think price will drop to 5k$ again but right now market will be consolidate for next 2 weeks, May be in march we may see drop in price if there is no good news for bitcoin and also if there is FUD than it can go to 3k$. Best time to buy will be in march but crypto depends on news and fundamentals.

For better or worse I think you should buy BTC now, it's below 7K USD if it goes down to 7K USD then buy more BTC so that you can earned a little rebate for buying BTC in the higher price, And you cannot be loss in this trading because BTC will recover someday, even me i don't know what to do but after reading in this forum and asking about BTC current situation I learned that many of them are now buying BTC now and hodl it. If you fortunate enough to have bought bitcoin's dip at almost 6,000$, then you are already earning big profit now. Sometimes, waiting for a crypto currency's market price to plunge more can be a cause of missing out the opportunity we already have in hand. I've been in a situation before where i am already supposed to buy a certain crypto at a very low price but eventually missed it because i thought it will go down further without realizing that's it's the deepest dip i've seen on that crypto already.

You know i got the same problem too. I'm having a hard time deciding on when to buy or wait for it to go lower but the question is "Is this the lowest it will get?". Yeah people take risks that do not improve their lives and instead they risk it for no net benefit, look at all of those that risk their lives to get an adrenaline rush, most of them spend a lot of money and are not paid to do it and they do it to feel alive and many get injuries due to that behavior but when it comes to risk their money they all get conservative and that does not make sense.
