I am pleased to announce that our new Samara coins will be going into production imminently. This thread will be used to provide product information, add/modify/confirm reservations, and provide you product updates until the moment your coin arrives to you!

1.   Inspiration. In Buddhist faith, Samara is the cycle of death and rebirth to which life in the material world is bound. The contents of this cycle were said to have been crafted by Bhudda himself outside temples so simply, that even the common man could understand its meaning. This artwork is common place in the far east and has come to be known as "The Wheel of Life". The diagram suggests that the only escape from this seemingly endless cycle is through the enlightenment of man, which can only be achieved in the human realm. This is due to fact that members of the other realms are far too distracted with their current state; whether it be too happy, too power-hungry, too frustrated, to ever seek a oneness with the universe. They are trapped ad infinitum. I have extended this concept to symbolize how the invention of Bitcoin can enable the disruption of a socio-political Samsara to which we, or some of us, are currently bound. And how this disruption was manifested by a human being, or beings, that has come to be known only as Satoshi Nakamoto. It is through his works and that of his contemporaries that a fracture in the Samara is presented to each of us; and may we walk towards whatever brings us lasting peace of mind! 2.   Product Information
Metal: 5 Oz .999 Silver / Antiqued
Diameter: 2.5"
Mintage: 3 Brass Prototypes, 5 Artist Editions, and a  Limited qty 67 Run
Serialization / Marking: .999 Ag AE1-AE5 (Custom Vanity), .999 Ag 01-67 (1NaTTyXXXX, LMiNdXXXX)
Certificate of Authenticity: Partial Art / Revised Hologram Position
Custom Wood Box: Airtite Fit / Custom Walnut  


3. Reservations: The Mintage is limited to 72 coins -  Of these 72 coins, there will be five (5) artist editions, in which the first one (AE1) will go to auction with the original artwork and custom blown glass case. Three of which are brass prototypes that have found homes.  SN 01-02 are to be determined. The remainder of the coins 03-67 will be for sale at the cost of 0.1 BTC. The reservations are as follows (limit 2 per customer).

Price Update The price of 0.1BTC was posted when the 5 Feb and BTC closed around $7000. With that said, regardless of BTC price, the price per coin will not exceed 0.1BTC and be adjusted to reflect to adjust the approximate USD value at the time I request payment.

Top tip: If your password is on this list (https://github.com/danielmiessler/SecLists/blob/master/Passwords/10k_most_common.txt) then it isn't a good password.

This is the second time in months. For someone doing what you're doing, it's embarrassing. Securing an account isn't that hard.

(3) A handful of vanities are still being mined for.
(4) Engraving to begin next week

Once OGN gets an engraving tempo established, I'll be able to forecast a shipment date. Also, as far as my primary account I have submitted my signed credentials to a global mod and awaiting for him to unlock my account. Updates to this. And by updates, verifiable cross channel proof/news.   I’d like to better understand what’s happening with this.  I think that this is not actually happening/real.  Please be careful people. 

I am holding one of the brass prototypes right now. Well between typing. No funds have been collected, just reservations taken. You can take your name off the reservations list you know.

I have the coins. I have the vanities. I expect to begin engraving tomorrow with the goal of getting 3-4 done per day.

Again, reading through this thread, you don't see how there seemingly is conflicting information?  I think it is not unreasonable to request that the matter be cleared up to ensure complete confidence.  Suggesting that I can move on, that feels like a deflection (perhaps it was not intended to be). 

The reason that I suggest that there's something weird going on, it is because that I haven't log'ed into this account in over a year (you can check perhaps).  I did so to show my wife the collectibles marketplace - only to see a name that I hold dear... NaTTy's.  When I saw this (on page two of the forum) I clicked to see the new coin...Only to see that I'm on the list. 

If this is true, WONDERFUL - I love the work (I'm in like flynn).  However, you don't see how this really makes me wonder if perhaps this is not 'real'.  Plus I see a number of respected posts suggesting the same?...  I would like a clear explanation and one that can point to other channels explicitly for further confidence.  I like many here have been around the block and know that things in this space are not always what they seem.  I'd like to know.

NLC took the time to offer each Goddess owner the matching serial of Samsara. Its probably not a surprise that you own Goddess #42. Through 50+ people confirming their reservation for the same serial number your non reservation may not have been noticed and you were not taken off of the list, a simple "i did not reserve #42 Samsara would be enough either in the thread or in a pm to NLC. Please do a little research before coming in with your long winded accusations.

Yes he did...i had bought #13 from mcdermott and they listed his name for #13 automatically so he can match coins. It was a simple matter thru some pms that i got #13 and gave up a higher number. All is well...this is not a scam at all.

Wasn't trying to FUD - had real questions:

OgNasty stated that the account had been comprised (#44 and #41), then later talked about having the coins in hand (#59).  I'm sure you can understand my confusion.

Had the link explaining that names were carried over to the new coin was posted in the first place - everything would have cleared up quickly.  Instead, I see (how many posts) suggesting that I'm trying to FUD?...  I've been in the community for some time, the projects that I've been a part of and am still, speak for themselves.  Regardless:

1)  Great - can't wait and looking forward to my coin's sister :-)

2)  I only wish, as a community, we act with a bit more civility.  Granted, a ton of non-verbal information is lost - so we need to make a greater effort.  I do think this frightens off folks that would otherwise make for a stronger overall group. 

I realize that I too probably read too much into the earlier posts, and felts a bit slighted - only now as I'm writing this, I'm perhaps feeling that others weren't trying to jump me as I initially thought.  I apologize if my tone is improper as well. 

We are all here because we love the idea of crypto and also because we love physical tokens representing this grand new experiment.   

No one said anything that should have hurt your feelings. Physical crypto coin collectors probably do the most research into what they are buying and are probably the largest group of regular escrow use. When you see the names that you see on the reservation list you should know that this is not a scam. The only bad thing is the blind trust we put in believing that the private keys are created securely and destroyed, but that is the chance we take to own these beauties. ( these are unfunded so it does not apply )
