When this dip is over I don't want to hear any of you crying about what you missed out on .Scared money don't make money, and I'll leave it at that.. If you bought in December, I hope you are taking advantage of the opportunity to majorly DCA.I am looking at picking up some ICX, NANO, ING, WTC, and KMD! Is anyone else starting their buys?

No one can predict the Dip when its over right now. Seems the cryptocurrency suffer a huge blow of defeat right now. But I still positive on it that it can recover in the near future.

It can't be done and changed overnight, there's a process that the market needs to go through. Last year the whole market is rapidly growing in value so this must be the exchange of it.

Those coins that you gave does have a decent trading volume so I do believe that when bitcoin started to show recovery they will follow as well.

This will surely ended if those big players will start buying from these dips and would we know that? if bitcoin shows some flippening or resistance breakout which today isnt yet to be seen,if the hard support level at $5k would be break surely bitcoin will dropped to $1-2k price range which will trigger more investors to switch to more stable coin which would be ethereum,because bitcoins is very unstable and has unhealthy market because of the manipulations of these big players!

No one can predict when this blood bath will end because China has already took action against Crypto currency which is, total ban of crypto currency and I think for this blood bath to end a great event or a great endorsement made by a known personality would be great IMO.

There is nothing strange in the correction. The only thing that can frighten potential holders of coins is when they can not grope for the bottom. And it can be quite close. If everyone knew in advance when there would be a lower limit, then games on the market as such would never have happened. Someone earns on such falls, but someone loses. Time will not only show, but also teach some market rules. And maybe not teach, all people are different. But certainly no one will tell another - where is the bottom. Again, the rules of the market - the more people know, the less you will profit. But in this case no one knows. You can only guess. Stock up on tea and biscuits and wait. Either dump everything and run. The choice is yours.

We cannot give an exact date or time as to when will this dip will be over. But we can see this as an oportunity to invest because we might not know when will it be increase again. For as long you have some holdings then better keep holding to gain your profit after the increase of value. Just dont get affected by the rumors that is spreading which connotes that crypto currency will be banned for it will affect the value of those coins that you are holding

If these coins has good potentials in the future surely they will recover no matter what happen to bitcoin they will find their way to stand alone,i like XRB or NANO which i am holding right now because i got stucked with it a long time ago,lets just hope that this market will recover from this bitcoin's drama.

Its unpredictable, but it is possible that so many bad news are specially spread to lower price. If this is true, than soon whales will buy with good discount and there will be big pump.

When would the dip over? well, I hope it will be over today and right now.
I'm honestly worried about this mega dip and I'm really surprised that the market value went down from $600 Billion down to $300 Billion in just a month.
Investors, traders and holders are now worried about the market today because some patient holders are now become panic sellers that they decided to sell their assets before losing 100 of their investments.

While there are a lot of tools or metrics to consider in determining Bitcoin's dynamics, no one can guarantee the end of this bear slumber party. We can only hope that many investors will find this correction a rare opportunity to hoard some coins to pump the marketcap once again. Until then, it is best to have patience and avoid FUD and just keep those coins in the bag. The bull awakening will happen sooner and we will all be partying by then!

No one can predict if the dip will be over because the future cannot be easily predict but dont sell all your altcoin or bitcoin because in the future there are some hope that the crypto will once raise from such such fatal blow lets just hope that it will double the highest price before

No one can actually predict that when will this dip get over.I just think that this dip created a good opportunity to buy any crypto currency at cheaper rates bitcoin is around $6k,etheruem around $500 so this is great time to buy.Bitcoin might recover around March ending I hope.

Dip will eventally finish and bulls will arrive. But biggest concern is that when? I think it may be in even 2020. We need whales return back and I am pretty sure they are waiting to return back cheapest price possible.

Last year after the dip we had a amazing rise of the market in may. Everyone who had coins in the wallet made money.
The market will rise again. With the total cap down with 320 bil. i believe that that money is still in the market but it is in fiat. I dont think that people got all that money in theyr poket but they are waiting to buy back.
Last year we saw a rise of the total market cap from 7 bil to 500 bil. If we will keep this trend or only a fraction of it we could see 2000 bil by the end of this year meaning that all holders will be in more proffit than they can imagine.
For the experienced one - buy buy buy.
For newbies- hold and take a 2 month vacation from crypto.

Because of the dip trend we had encountered, Bitcoin price is suffering from a massive sell-off. Almost no one is surprised to learn this market is experiencing some big dips right now and this will take time to recover and realign it's previous growth last year. I must agree that bitcoin speculation is running wild among the investors however, everything is possible for bitcoin in making great deal of profit in the coming months.

Exactly this. Everyone says they missed out on the boom when the price was low, yet when the price is low they don't want to take the risk. They pretend to live in hindsight but the reality is even when hindsight comes back to give them a 2nd chance, they still don't take it.

Probably when these financial institutions are done buying cheap bitcoins,surely the market cap would definitely starts to recover.Ive heard that some institutions has planend this a long time ago,they will dump the price of bitcoin then after they have enough bitcoin surely they will flip the price again this is how the bigplayers manipulate the market.

When dip is over?, that question is in my mind too. Who knows? Well, nothing knows about that, that's why predictions are always there and sometimes it is right but mostly it is wrong. I hate to predict but that's the only hope for people who trusted in bitcoin and given by them strength by holding bitcoin.
All altcoins are depend on bitcoin price movement, for those you picking up coins maybe it is have a potential or just read their roadmap and whitepaper. After bitcoin will bouncing back all coins are raising up too.

Yeah it's been falling for some time and will probably continue doing so. I'm thinking of buying when it drops even more at this point.

That is the major problem with the people because at the dips they used to think it will dip even more. Even in the beginning of my crypto trading, i faced a lot of challenge about the crypto market ups and downs but most of the time i used by them at the dips.

The coins that pumped up hard in December from pure hype won't make a good recovery there's just too many bags holders for them to go up.

Recovering from a big hole/dip suffered by bitcoin due to a drastic drop of its price, it is very uncertain as to when bitcoin will climb back again. And with this month's upcoming Chinese New Year, i expect bitcoin's price to drop deeper and i think after that event, bitcoin will start to climb back again.

There will be crazy Bull run because market has already over reacted to FUD and has sold very valuable coin for penny I mean way less than coin value. Investor and everybody else will realize this and the FOMO will drive the price up!

No one knows when the dip is over and nobody knows the bottom so it's hard if you want to buy at bottom. The thing that you can do is buy each time there's dip to lower your average cost and wait until the market start its uptrend movement again.

The recovery will start, but it wont be instant. It will slowly edge its way back to the previous levels 3 or 4% a day for months, until we are above the previous peak, then the mega bullrun will start and everyone will be crying about how they should have bought VEN and WTC and NEO and all that shit back when it was cheap.

People cry their eyes out during bullruns wishing they could buy coins cheap; but turn in scared weak handed fools running for the exit during the bear market.

I think this downtrend will last at least a month, maybe even up to six months to a year. We need to be mentally prepared. If you feel that you can not carry it, I suggest that you sell it now. This is a painful process.

No body know when this dip over but by use technical analysis will help to buy some coin in perpect time. I think we should be patient to wait for best entry level because usually after the down trend the market will consolidation in a few day and then change to bullish trend.

It won't be any time soon, banks and governments and whales are working overtime to kill off all interest in crypto markets and make as many of the panic sellers sell hard and lose as much as they have so that the big whales and sharks scoop up all the profits, like they did in last bull run. Next time, if there is any bull run I will be selling some of my portfolio and buying back in the dips because now I lost 90% of my net worth I feel like sh*t. The market is not coming back to ATH anytime soon put t that way.

It will take time for all coins to recover the great dip happened because governments are already taking action about it. For example China has already taken the most terrifying action that is total crypto ban in the country. If this continues maybe we need to brace ourselves for the worst.

Correct no one can tell for this dump of value in crypto currency, the best thing to do is to hold our coin and do not sell anything, believe in your investment it will grow in the middle of this year. I recommend to buy bitcoin this time it is the lowest value for this year hold it or buying some altcoin for better profit.

I think of it that way!
During such a crash (yes, it IS a crash!!) lots of people lose their mind and starts to trade bad/ impatient/ make bad decisions!
Now, trading is a zero sum game and whenever you make a trade there is someone on the opposite site, so if you are good at what you are doing and can keep a cool head, I am pretty sure there is a lot of money to be made during such a bearish market! :)

It will end when these financial institutions are done buying cheap bitcoins and altcoins,most of the FUDs that are spreading are from the big players in the market creating FUD to spread panic which resulted to a panic selling turned to bloodbaths,then re purchase the coins in a very cheap price.

If you hold some valuable tokens, you don't need to do anything, you just have to hold them.
If you hold some token that looks like a scam, these tokens may return to zero after the bear market.

I think the fall will continue until March. In spring, the growth of the crypto currency will begin. Although you can already buy now. Levels attractive.

We've had our first bit of good news in a while with the US Senate but I don't think it's enough to turn this market around. We need more good news or a few weeks with no bad news.

Best medicine is bitter - that's the famous japanese saying. I think market is currently experiencing the same thing - it just should go through that dip before it grows even higher than before. I give it 2 weeks from now to restore.

It is impossible to predict the dips of the crypto market its just because there are so many things that is happening in the cryptoworld that's most of the people are not aware of the sudden dips that is happening right now but dont be afraid this dip will end in no time

I think that price of bitcoin is already attractive and somebody start to buy good volume of bitcoin it will be signal for others and we will see huge pump. Keep calm Bitcoin will be over 25 000 $ till the end of this year.

Most of these altcoins are not even in operation and are just being speculated in the market. It seems like as if people have forgotten why they invested in the projects and are more concerned with the price swings, for me i am bullish on my investment

I think the current dip is healthy. The market was definitely overvalued and we were due a dip. It is quite an extreme one, but it is important not to panic.
If you bought high, then don't sell low - just have faith in cryptocurrencies and take shelter and wait until the storm is over.

Yes, i think the fall will continue untill march . Then crypto currency growth will increase slowly. Now correct time to buy more coins. This fall is the echo that Bitcoin has banned in many countries.It will be better in two or three months.

It has been a hit to all of us who are new to crypto in the last year, but just like any other market it will recover. I would continue to buy a varied array, but atleast hold on to what you have. Don't let fear win.

When is the dip going to end, it's an unpredictable area so very difficult to say anything.

I think that this dip process will last a little over 3,000 USD for Bitcoin and it will have a price fluctuation and run around in this level for a certain period. But if you ask me when it will rise from there, it is very difficult for me to guess in that matter.

To be honest, I never expected that bitcoin's price will reach below $7,000 because I thought that by the end of the month of January, the dip will be over unfortunately, it didn't happen. Financial analysts keep on saying that an extreme dip is quite good because it is a positive sign that it will reach $30,000-$35,000 this year 2018. Crypto currencies are indeed unpredictable and one of the reasons why I don't panic was because of some investors who doesn't give up.

I think the dip is over... for now. There are positive rumors about US senate hearing.

But many of the bad coins will not recover.  I think people now will be more selective.

I think the bear market in cryptocurrency markets has come, and in a bear market, most of the shit tokens are going to be zero because they don't have any value.

Not only crypto dumped now , look at the American stock market , it is under pressure now and dumped too . Seems like this problem is a more complicated than we think in the beginning . I think no one can predict when this FUD and depression will over .

This is just my assumption  and my opinion will continue to go down to meet the correct price . down 60% and when 5% rise instantly take the buying action is quite strange is not it? so I will see market conditions within a few days. whether this is a stable price to determine the next price movement.

I think everyone now here are suffering from huge profit loss. This is the worst part of the market Im feeling sick everytime I saw my Blockfolio. Lets hope that this is the last week of our suffering. We should just think that this is the great opportunity of buying more assets while its still cheap. We don't know until when will this dip continue but surely it will not change overnight. There are lot of factors contributing to price dump and one of this is China banning crypto transactions and everything about it. There are lot of investors in China who really got affected by this ban that contribute to markets dip. Also there are whales manipulating the market. Let's just wait and hope to bitcoins recover as well as other altcoins, but we can also help to cryptos faster recovery buy investing and buying coins in its dipping price, from here we can see that prices will increase somehow.

I think the dip is over from now because the Bitcoin bearish is almost one month now and I think most people will not sell Bitcoin for almost a month and I think most people will not sell Bitcoin anymore since most of them have already dumped their bitcoin and left the crypto world lol.. As for Bitcoin shorters, I think it is too risky for them to short Bitcoin below 6k and it's not very rational because they do not know where the bottom is.

BTC is currently trying to make $8,000 and it's a hard one to get it and stay there. Then the aim will be $9,500 for BTC. If it can break that point, we can see another short term bull market.

I think that is one of the actual questions that most cryptocurrency users cannot answer with certainty. The thing about the market is even when it is falling down, all the assets and the system are still unpredictable and volatile. Therefore, it could be hard to decipher when this dip would stop. Just like last year, it took roughly 8-10 months before Bitcoin surged again and regained value. I am not sure if that would transpire again, but I think that if that trend would continue year by year, you can find other investment mediums like altcoin to survive during the times some assets are not going up.

This question is very difficult to answer. Today, very professional traders are afraid of anything to say about the price of bitcoin. Because, as far as I understand, the price is simply manipulated in their own interests.

I do not wait the market recovery until Spring comes. Hopefully, it will happen even earlier. Too many people are depressed and they feel being at a loss. Do not panic and just wait a bit — finally crypto will run up faster and faster.

I think we can all agree that the blockchain technology behind all these different coins or tokens is real, and it will change the future of a lot of industries.  If blockchain has to drag the crypto sector with it, kicking and screaming, it will do so.  Crypto will recover because the big idea behind it can't be stopped...  it's on a leash of sorts.

There will new price alt for every coin that survive the bleeding period experienced in the market.  The amount of FUD and rumour that trigger selling of bitcoin and some Altcoin is enough to drown any asset  yet bitcoin and Altcoin are still standing.
