Better dont buy with any online wallet as govt is not clear yet for crypto currency.

Contact your friend circle if they are involved in crypto then buy personally and don't take risk.

There are many secure bitcoin wallets available online. But using the perfect wallet means having less transaction fees(BTC to BTC transaction) and non breachable security .

One of the best bitcoin wallet in India is Zebpay.

Zebpay( Zebpay Bitcoin India): Higher bitcoin prices,secure,but transaction fees is 0.0002 BTC for BTC to BTC transaction. Works fine if you like to purchase some amount of BTC. I feel they have kept some amount in cold storage wallet. Still comes under the category of custodial services online wallet. Don’t keep large amounts here. It require only android/ios phone to exchange.

I'd rather not keep it at any exchanges in India right now and have the main coins on Coinbase. If possible and if you have a good amount invested here, get a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S as you don't have to worry about anything around it, the country rules, or whatever.

I will recommend to you use zebpay because of I am using almost 2 years without any issues, and you can buy or sell Bitcoins quickly with sefe so you can use zebpay.

Never try any unknown or new wallet at this time. Use only reputed or which have being in use for more than couple of years as they would be genuine and all this new or unknown may turn out to be scam or hacking can take place in coming time.

Its best to learn how to use a wallet using devices like Trezor or nano Ledger. Learn more about blockchain and how it works. Putting your cryptos in other wallets is always unsafe. Even most secured wallets of MTGOX, bitfinex, nicehash and other bigger exchanges went for a toss in hacking events.

Learn more by downloading the Core applications along with particular blockchain of the cryptos on your trusted PC.

In India there is more than 5 top exchangers there like zebpay, wazir and more but I was using from long time without any issue for zebpay so you can use for buy or sell Bitcoin in India but now zebpay and more indian exchange are stop dealing with INR reason RBI.

if you keep your btc in exchanges those are hosted wallet, i would advice you to put it in your bitcoin core, desktop

Use Hardware wallet Like Ledger nano s Or trezor,Desktop wallet,Web wallet,Exchange wallet are not safe to store bitcoin for long time.And more over Hardware wallet support multiple currencies.Hardware wallets are not only safe it also easy to use.

Not sure if RBI will show some mercy on us in near future.. :-P

At present, INR deposits and withdrawals through bank accounts are temporarily disabled as per RBI directive.
