Why do you panic? Why?

IF YOU DO NOT SELL, YOU DO NOT LOSE ANYTHING! YOU LOSE THE MOMENT YOU SELL, after you purchased high and buy low. It does not matter what is the price ATM, the only thing which matters is what is the price when you decide to sell. So, to shield yourself from losing money, DONT sell under the price you bought it.

If you trust in crypto and believe it ll bounce back, WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM AND WHY PANIC?

If you do not trust in crypto and you have doubts whether it ll bounce back, well, in that case you are in the wrong industry and you shouldn't have invested in crypto in the first place.

So knowing this, what is the problem again?

EDIT: This post was created on February 6, 2018 when BTC price reached $5920. After a few days, it recovered to $8k. Will keep this ledger so people know Bitcoin ALWAYS recovers!

A lot of people bought crypto without knowing exactly what it was. I convinced my brother to get Bitcoin. He did, but he has no idea what it is. I think a lot of people are doing just that. They've bought in without knowing what they are buying and now those same people are exiting. Honestly, it is pretty depressing. I'm still up from when I got in, but it just hurts really bad seeing all this money drop.

This is also the first time that Bitcoin has gone mainstream. This truly may be the beginning of the end for bitcoin and cryptocurrency as we know it. I'm hoping not though. I still have some more buy orders for lower with the money where I sold when Bitcoin was at 18k. I only sold 11% though. Every day feels like it is getting worse and worse.

I have a tab at the top of my computer right now. $5,930... $5,922... $5907... $5902... $5900... $5887... $5877.01 It just keeps dropping lower and lower.

But about the investing and not losing until you sell... - you are wrong.
You will lose even more if you do not sell and it crashes to 0...
The question is why you got in when it was that high and if you did and now you panic, you deserve to lose your money, as you have trowed them away the moment you buy something you have no idea what it is and what is happening with it...


In other news: the price will be going down for few months to come, at least, so maybe it is a good idea to think how you can benefit from all this movement.
But again be careful and DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!
NEVER INVEST MORE THEN YOU CAN LOSE!!!

those who panic will immediately sell their coins in low sell orders because they want to quickly get their money before the price goes down. this is a moment that has been eagerly awaited by the buyers who bring a large shopping cart and want to buy all the coins sold in low sell orders. my message to you, don't panic and don't be too quick to take the decision to sell your coins in low sell order, at least selling in hight order although it takes a little time. better still if you want to be patient and hold again for longer time.

I totally agree with you but I also believe the current price plunge is not only caused by 'non-believers in Crypto' that happened to get in but also by many believers who 'maybe' changed their mind or decided to take some rest from all the hassle and uncertainly out there

I don't care with those people, if they are panic then the price will be cheaper, and this is our profit.

Brothers, you are right, since all bought, do not sell your loss the same. Since you do not believe encryption why you have to join? I think you are losing money if you're just speculating. You do not believe in the potential of cryptocurrencies, nor do you believe in the future.

I couldn't agree more. I also suggest everyone to take this dump as a reason to no longer check the price each 5 minutes, It's not healthy. Who cares about the price anymore anyway? Lightning network is coming, Coinbase just announced that their support for SegWit should come soon and that should take fees much lower. If bitcoin is evolving, price should be the last priority as It will eventually increase.

Because a lot of people are buying the BTC, but they don't believe in BTC, they just heard that there are a lot of people from the encrypted in the cryptocurrency market profits, but they don't believe in bitcoin, so would feel panic.

I agree with you bro! People should do the math before making any moves regarding their crypto holdings, they shouldn't be emotional in trading, that's the way you will be doomed.

If you really even contemplate the possibility of BTC being 0 one day, well, I can guarantee you re in the wrong industry. You know who rambles about BTC going to 0. Roubini and similar so called expert who have never turned on PC in their lives, not to mention understanding crypto mechanics.

Have some faith my friend, this is a beautiful new industry in its infant stage but it WILL prevail. I have been in crypto since 2012 and I know a think or two about crypto. Crypto will continue to grow, we ll have these red periods from time to time but it will continue growing and developing.

It looks like that from your point of view, i do not agree with you. Each January there was a dip, besides bitcoin is getting bombarded with heavy news regarding the regulations and bans in certain Asian countries. The elite does not want poor people getting rich, however i do believe people power can prevail and crypto currencies will go high, that or some people will start eating d***s.

I see a lot of people who have got to learn a lot about crytpo. Maybe once they have lived through 59 major BTC crashes you ll understand the importance of patience and optimism.

I opened this post so I can help people control their panic so they do not lose money they have invested in this beautiful industry. If you think 6 years of crypto experience does not mean anything, fine, do it your way. We ll see who s going to right in the end.

Also as I say yesterday I understand people who are in panic now,especially those who buy at high price.They only look at numbers and see that BTC is loses its value in fiat,and this is most important thing for most of them.If majority of users decide to not sell and hold, then price would not be what is it today.

This is something that we can associate with the human mind and the perception of reality,if you have strong public opinion that something is how it is presented, then even the biggest lie can become true.So now we are actually trying to stop the snowball that rolls at a high speed down the hill from the top of the hill,impossible...That snowball is panic and it will stop only when it comes to the bottom and breaks down.

Problem is that people do not understand how things work,and a large percentage of them very poorly understands english.

I believe there is 3 reason why people panicking. First, uneducated, that's why many people didn't have enough knowledge about how promising cryptocurrencies is. second, is laziness, not all people want to wait for the price to come back up so they partially cut their losses. and the last is FUD, I'm sure the FUD is strong enough, neither it from the government or from the uneducated people.

Herd mentality, the bankers will snap up the coins as the price drops and the price will rise again.

I think we should more listen to people like you who have more experience and have trained themselves to stay calm when hard times come.
No one of us had expect this but here we are. Where the majority of people see the end of crypto I see opportunity to buy more. When all the panic
people sell then there will be left only the true believers in btc and btc will then rise again.

It may be a natural response to be bothered as the value of bitcoin goes down.  But if more people will lose the trust in cryptocurrency, the more it will go down. So if someone firmly believes in cryptocurrency, then just relax and see how things will go. If you lose the trust in cryptocurrency too quickly, there's a possibility you might regret it one day.

Lesson learned for people who are considering cryptocurrencies as an investment. Listening to the mainstream media words by words. Instead to consider and to use cryptos as what it is supposed to be, without giving a sh*t to the cryptocurrencies purposes.

People don't panic. It's just about some people actually HAVING A BRAIN. Why would anyone with IQ higher than monkey's oone to hold BTC when it will go down to 0$ soon? It was just a toy for speculations, now this shiit will be worth a shit. Time for new, better cryptos, not old shits.

I really agree, now everyone is starting to panic
they buy at a high price, but due to this unclear panic, they are selling their current coins at the lowest price
they are not ready with this, they should have held it for longer

Totally agree, for all the panic people who buy bitcoin at high price and sell it at low price. stop make market crash by doing that. if you still hold your coin the market won't crash more than this. bitcoin price have a lot of down at the first mont of this years stop make it more down. this time is discount time better buy it again than sell it, make your profit double by not selling at the low price.

I think that now is a very good opportunity for new investors to enter the crypto currency market. Of course, now you do not need to panic, a competent investor buys, when it's cheap, but sells when it's expensive. To sell is cheaper than the crypto currency was bought - this is not very reasonable from the economic point of view. I believe that it is necessary at least wait until the end of the Chinese New Year, wait for the spring. I believe that the price for the Crypto currency will stabilize and will increase in 2018.

It makes no sense to me to sell when you are sure to make a loss. I can't understand, especially when dealing with BITCOIN. This currency won't disappear in the blink of an eye. It is not a small altcoin only used on a single webste. It is the historical concept. The very begining of the community.

Sometimes people here tend to think that buying or getting involve in bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is gambling. It is a bit of a gble in way that you should take the risk of when to sell your bitcoin because it does not have a fixed value on it. It is still better to sell and get lower value other than getting zero.

I trust crypto and I believe in its droppings and going ups. Right now the right thing to do is wait. Wait and hold

Many people buy the COINS, not because they believe the currency, even they do not know the COINS, they are holding the currency because they saw many COINS people earn a lot of money, they think that as long as holding the currency will become rich, no thought of the risks
So when the price of bitcoin goes down, they don't see the hope of making a profit, their principal is shrinking, they're panicking, they want to sell bitcoin to reduce their losses.

Panic sells are making price to go down. Why market is crashing? Because people are selling. So if no one do panic sell price won't go down.
People are greedy, they've heard bitcoin will go to moon and they've bought very expensive rocket ticket. Stupid in my opinion because crypto wasn't created for people who only see profit. Those people probably never invested in stock market so why crypto? Because they saw it as a EASY money.

Lots of people choose to engaged in the cryptocurrency because they had witness lots of people who made decent profit from it and they want to be like them so they decided to invest even their savings which allotted to a near expenses coming without knowing the risk they enter so once they see prices are going down then they panic and sell to avoid losing all their invested amount.

We can't avoid panicked, especially to those who buy around $15,000-$18,500 this is big lose now. Yes we don't sell but we can't avoid the fact that we feel so disappointed sometimes, like it feels like where in the big depression and nightmares every night. We can't avoid if. But Yes! I am bit more fascinated about cryptocurrency and in the means time I get information of formulation of cryptocurrencies. Its basically production of tokens done with any of algorithm with PoW/PoS of cryptography with blockchain. I dive little more and got information that Cryptocurrencies are combination of blockchain and cryptography, which are based on quantum physics and electronics.

Now if we see deeply, blockchain is a real innovation with decentralized and open ledger platform. Implementation of blockchain technology will really bring revolution in humans living by offering more decentralized, scalable, transparent and open source business solutions for everyone.

And my honest suggestion is spend time to learn what is bitcoin rather that investing on bitcoins, because knowledge is the power.

Many services as economics and finance already on the way of decentralization along with this advertising, content delivery, social media and few other platforms are also created their own existence, importance and value stand alone in crypto market.

So considering these facts if we look towards future then, price of Bitcoin will be at sky height as this is the first and only cryptocurrency which is also know as master or prime cryptocurrency. And many new ideas will born.

Yes.You are right.Either if they believe in cryptos,they should be here or if they don't trust they should not invest in cryptos.But what is the disturbing thing is most of the crypto investors are just half boiled.they know only a little about cryptos and with their known little knowledge,they do assumptions by their own and get panic resulting selling their coins much lesser than the purchasing price.

Yes, we all afraid to get loss on our account it only means that we should trust more in bitcoin so that the bad things might happen will be contrast into a positive one. And also, when you enter the business world you need to expect loss and risk that you may encounter anytime. And aside from it since the bitcoin is volatile the value is not always in minimum but it will rise up again. And those loss will not be loss anymore. Trust bitcoin, trust yourself.

The recent hype has already died down and those who bought bitcoin during the hype must have felt that they are losing their investments by looking at the price charts now. It's possible that this is the aftermath and process of the bubble going to pop - but it would depend if there would still be strong and resilient bitcoin supporters who will firmly hodl. For those who are seeing the price keep on dropping lower and lower, they must believe that the price will just continue to go lower and will just decide to sell in order to save their money.

To be fair, as compared to how the price was a year ago, the bitcoin price is still relatively high. In retrospect, this isn't the bottom yet.

It will bounce back! Just keep holding. Bitcoin is always like this, it will come back.When it goes down it doesnt mean it will fall flat as 0, it means that it will comeback as great as ever. "For every negative, there will be a positive comeback". Just keep your positive attitude. Panic wont help you on this situation, just keep calm and be positive on all aspect. Trust me it will comeback.. Also, this sudden down in value will be a great time to invest on this. it is true with what you mention it. this is a crypto world that surely we all know bitcoin and altcoin have never had a stable price. for a trader now it is they will buy and hold until the price goes back up.

if you check people complaining about this price of crypto you will see that they are mostly newbies. last year many people enter into crypto market because of what they read in the media. most of them think that is how price will continue to grow like grass. even grass growing have seasons. crypto is in the dry season now but better days are coming. just do not sell your coin cheap

What you are saying is true , if you trust in cryptocurrency then what ever rate you have bought it dont get afraid as you will see your buying price, only thing is that you have to wait but you will get your price and if you can buy some more on lower price so that your average buying price will go up.

Bitcoin is constantly similar to this, it will come back.When it goes down it doesnt mean it will crash and burn as 0, it implies that it will rebound as awesome as ever. I know you only meant that the losses we currently suffer, if there is any, are just paper losses and that it do not matter as long as we do not realize the same by selling them at a much discounted price.

Well, let me give you the side of others on the different side of the coin.

Others see this as traversing the negative direction as they see the value depreciates time after time without a glitch of recovering for at least a thousand. Maybe at some point, too, these people see the 'need' to sell to answer for their daily needs, among others.

No matter how experienced you are, I know there is something within you that is totally bothering you as well. You may just be good at hiding it. Come to think of it, how come you are here without anything to support your cause? In here, we do not have contracts, we do not have laws, we do not have authorities. What makes you stay in this business that is full of uncertainties to begin with? Thus, you cannot just brag about how collected you are in times like these. 

Be calm and hold on we can never know and we cant predict its everyday value. Sometimes goes down and after that it goes up you can analize it in its previous value.So you dont have to panic its not helping you at all.Once you invest you must take the risk what ever happens.By the time its value goes low i think you can buy and sell it if value goes up.

IMO, some people cannot take the stress of the downfall and sell Bitcoin. Whereas some are waiting for the Bitcoin to dip further before getting back.

You cant blame them. Most of the investors in the crypto are not studying what crypto currency is and together with the newbies that are zero in knowledge from joining the exchange are to blame here with the drop. People think differently, that's the answer to your question. And if you really what to help, rather than blaming other weak hands, we should promote cryptocurrency in a way that people would invest more on it.

I think the panic of such people is caused only by their inexperience. Those people who have been in the sphere of crypto currency for a long time know that a drop in prices is normal and it is very profitable to take advantage of this.

For those people panicking they might lose everything they invest in bitcoin because of its big dip or big decrease on its value this time around. Dont worry, dont panic. Its alright. Its normal. What you do now is hold on to every bitcoin you own now, just hold on to it dont sell it. And wait for it to regain its highest or true value of bitcoin uou ll never know you might still gain big profit from it. Also buy some more too! So when the prices go up, your investment on it grows up too.

It is easy to say this but very hard to follow practically. Suppose someone invested $20000 in Bitcoins and the value reduced to $15000 in a month. Now he will not be able to sleep even thinking that it may go to $10000 in some time.

I constantly have to reassure such nervous people, and this is very difficult. I myself am a little nervous during such drawdowns, although I know that this is normal and even good.

Instead of panic, just hold your bitcoin, just think positive. Wait for the day that bitcoin will rise again, because i believe on the next months btc will increasing. So you don't need to worry about its price, instead you have a patience and just trust it. The best you can do today while the price is low you can buy, so that when the price is increase you can earn profit. Don't make decision immediately that make your investment losses.

i was worried while the price hasn't stop to dropped but i do not panic and still hold my bitcoin and my altcoins because i have already learn from my previous mistakes several years ago when the price suddenly dropped i was sold all of my bitcoin at that time and i was regretting my decission because after i sold it the price climb up again so i won't make another mistakes this time

This is a myth.  Because neither have you made a profit if you don't sell.    That is the great danger of holding.  I think people shouldn't be so keen to hold and watch the price fall of a cliff.

Exactly! U feel the butthurt of topic starter. There are a huge amount of people who prevents normal price correction without panic falls. Anyway, it's inevitable in crypto world.

Lots of new people to crypto know nothing about it at all. Businesses in Japan were giving people BTC as part of there bonus at work last year. So you think peopel like that read stuff on forums like this? They just see there money disappearing so they dump causing the market to dip even more.

This comes to all newcomers, and not only to them. It probably depends more on the nature of the person. When I first started dealing with crypto currency, I was also very worried, watching the drawdown, because I thought that I was losing my money. But then I realized that there is nothing to be afraid of and I advise not to worry all newcomers!

Bitcoin has been on a down down trend and its been accelerating. No one knows where the bottom is, just be careful. We could definitely see it fall back to down to $2000.

It's basic psychology, the more skin you have in the game the more it will affect your emotions, during an uptrend it is enthusiasm and during a downtrend it is fear. The extremes are greed and panic. I think it's as simple as that. Would anyone feel panic for having 100 bucks in bitcoin? Guess not. The lesson that many learned the hard way is never to invest more...you know the rest of the sentence. My lesson from this is to act more cauteous and follow a long term plan, not sudden impulses or emotions.

Yeah you're right those traders who are new to the crypto world is definitely suffering to heart attack when the price goes way below their buying price. After they read and see all the news, what chiseled  in their mind is that crypto is going down badly and they think their money is losing its value add on to that are their folks that are already dump their crypto. What next happen is panic selling and the chain of selling continue and they even influence others to sell. All I can say to those traders are "Emotions could lose your money, Trust could gain you a lot!"

I agree with you many are selling it at a much lower price when they buy it. I do not blame them. that is up to them. Their ignorance only makes the value go down. If you are new to crypto currency and thinking that you could make a quick buck ,people would get panic when the market starts falling and that is exactly what is happening here,with every negative news the market is going down deeper,the things you have said is true,but if you see your valuation going down,there is nothing you can do that to sell,but if you are an experienced trader you know exactly how the market behave.

Absolutely right you are. Definitely we should hold our coin in this dip. If we sell it now, we will be loser. In my opinion price of bitcoin will rise with shortage possible of time. So wait for high price then you can sell your coin by gaining some profit.

Here is the man who is yelling the truth. Thats good way to put the crypto in front of the world and community who is utilising it. We should trust bitcoin in the first place and then only start entering deep into the trades and investment. If we are going to get wrecked when we see the downfall then there is no use of us into the bitcoin world. i know what you mean man, but all people in the world dont have the same idea with you, so you cant just blame them, if myself m idea is same with you, just hold first and sell when price get high, but if the new investor and dont know anything about bitcoin they will panic if know about bitcoin rightnow that the price is so down and they will sell it so thel will not lose more money thats what they think.

I want to believe that many people who invested in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies over the last last 6-7 months did not properly know what they where investing in. They probably look at bitcoin as an investment on the stock market. Now, their influx of money continued to raise the price and growth of bitcoin, and with this came major popularity and media attention. Now that some "super-powers" are doing their very best to discredit cryptos, the same people who followed the media and popularity to make their investment decision, have now followed the same media, to dis-invest causing the plunge in prices. Only if people are well educated on the future of blockchain and cryptos et al, will we see serious and sustained purchase and keep.

I totally agree with your opinion here and now there has been a bit of a rebound and the price is climbing slightly - i guess i am still at noob status lol ;)

The people who are into bitcoin for a longer period of time will understand how the market will react to each and every news and the bear market is nasty as you could see a big downward spiral ,the people who get stuck into bitcoin while they are maxing out their credit cards are the ones who will panic the most and if the bankers are right,that is what is happening now as the price went down,people started selling left and right as they have to settle the loans they have acquired to purchase it when the price was high and that is where the panic comes in.

Of course it is painful to see one owns capital shrinking so much in no time. Two weeks ago I was rich, now I am moderately wealthy. However, I went through a similar ordeal in 2014 when my little investment lost 95% of its value, becoming nothing or so, but I didn't sell. This year, that "nothing" mooned and suddenly I was rich. I've missed the chance to sell everything ATH, pity. That's it. Now it's time to take a breath a make a long walk in town or an even longer walk in the world. And patient. Panic can only hurt you.

I did a lot of research in the past days and I've seen lots of fake news. I decided to not give credit to media and I do not action on what they say

When a person buys bitcoin just to invest money and does not study the mechanisms of his work - he panics at a drawdown. I watch it all the time. With experienced traders this does not happen.
This is caused by the fear of losing your money, nothing surprising. Just investing in bitcoin, you need to be prepared for such risks and nerves.

In September a CEO from a big bank in the United States declared some bad things about bitcoin. Next day many people began to sell and guess who bought bitcoin at a lower price? Yep...the CEO from that bank

People buy cryptos because they want to earn a lot of money just in a few weeks and they don't trust in blockchain,Only one thing is surprised,why they don't understand that this is a new,revolutionary technology when everyone ,even goverments or welfare funds(UNICEF for example,they create project known as Gamer Chaingers which will help poor kids by using cryptocurrencies) use it for their social,state interests and it have public function too,its unclear and egoistic what they do but its reality,I hope they will have enaugh experience after market recovers...

Those who panic will soon sell their coins with low sell orders because they want to quickly get the money before the price goes down. I also advise everyone to take this dump as an excuse to stop checking prices every 5 minutes, it's not healthy.

As Op stated whoever sells when thinking of the drop in price losses their profit. Because most users who sell in such a mentality is the newbies and the people who haven't experienced such a kind of price fluctuations in the past. I do agree with your words. Only those people are panicking who are here to get rich quickly. I would say crypto is not for those who want quick money sometime you need more patience for your trades to be in profit. Every time new users scream, cry and lose money. You need to have trust into crypto and patience. Once you survive your first or second dump without selling and without a loss, you simply do not care anymore.
Panic is you enemy, whenever there re red candles, simply move away from crypto for a few days, dont check the price, dont read the news. Once you get back, you ll again be in the green and you can move on.

Its normal for people to panic once things start to go down the drain. Even in cryptocurrency where they might have gained a ton of profit from it they would start to panic once their comfort level goes down and then they become unsure of what they would further do. Crypto's prices are going down dramatically, and these are bad for investors, as they invest heavily in Bitcoin and it is feared for them to restore Bitcoin prices. After it is swift but not as high as it is, it only fluctuates in small increments, the supply of Bitcoin is increasing. I think it will be sudden for Bitcoin to rebound.

I believe this is not about how someone earned or how someone used their strategies to sell at high or buy at low. Actually the main objective of not being a panic seller or buyer is to trust your coin. There must have a proper research on whatever coin you are going to invest in, the goods and bad and the nature. How they go up and how they behave when going down, so no need to panic.

in my opinion you better hold your coin. do not sell your coin too quickly when the price of crypto goes down. be patient because the price in the exchange market in bitcoin will surely rise and do not panic too. pray that crypto prices will stabilize again.

They where expensive and never hit 0 (they still exist) Yet people who did not sell when they where crashing have lost a fortune, as they are cheap now.
Same happens to GM and Lehman Brothers.

They where big and nobody believed they will crash, yet they cost 0 now.

The decrease of price in bitcoin has greatly affected other cryptocoins. This occurence led people to panic sell which in return gave them nothing but losses. Long term investors know that coins take time to boost in price and amidst events like this, patience is the only tool. Bitcoin will recover, and I believe that it will, and together with its recovery is the rise of price of other altcoins! Let us hold and wait.

Honestly speaking i am not really good at trading but people around me always advice me not to panic because panicking will make you lose profit and income and also these people called them as weak hands who just sell away their coins drop the price  . Just a piece of advice dont panic just stay calm wait for the updates , news or just sit back and relax wait for the final dip because at the end the coin will pump once there is something good to happen , panicking won't do good but it will cut your capital instead of earning  just watch and wait .

People whom easily panic can easily affected with bad moods. Those people struggling almost every hour, couldn't sleep at night thinking bitcoin price drown. You're right why panic.? The matter is what the price when you decide to sell. This is the main point I think.

When my boyfriend got mad at me because I encouraged him to invest in bitcoin, he panicked.  He was in the moment of selling his bitcoins and really wishes to not invest in it.  I told him that bitcoin is like that and it was part of it.  The dump was caused by people who panicked and sold their bitcoins.  I will just hold my bitcoin till it come back to a high price.

Yeah patience is a virtue that would lead to success time like this will always pass by, in forcasting you should always considered the previous years price tracking  for almost 3 years the tracking is almost identical. So there is no reason to panic and not advisable to sell your BTC  at lower  price than you bought it. That is a suicidal move.

Its's always when you sell your bitcoins that you will know whether you have made or lost money but some people are so impatient that when it begins to dip even slightly they run off to sell.

It would be interesting to think about what would happen if nobody panics. Would the price go on and on? Or would the dips just take longer because they are carefully thought through selling actions? Or would the dips be not as intense and the ups not as high because everybody has a reasonable price for bitcoin in mind?

Yes, I agree. but not for beginners who buy bitcoin from the highest score. there was a lot of panic on yesterday. no one will know the market will go down and slip. the problem is, beginners who invest in bitcoin do not have much knowledge and experience. I think this is the basic problem,

I'm not that expert nor veteran type of enthusiast when it comes to crypto, ut been more than a year risking and earning though. I am also not one of those people who panic sell everytime crypto falls (but I've been - when I am a newbie) and I understand people who do panic sell and want to give reason why;

(1) Volatility is given a hundred dollar value today might be zero value tomorrow, isn't this something to scare about? (yeah people who have no guts to risk shall not enter this kind of trade but they re still people who wanna seize every opportunity to improve lives financially)
(2) Some of us risk almost all we have, not just an amount we afford to lose for the chance to be a hundred fold more intention, but if keep hodl and fall continue it would mean hunger for a mont so they move fast and recover anything left than lose everything (which is possible)
(3) Not all times, hodling had been a good move just look how many alts already delisted in exchange and die.

Note: I have no one against with just saying my own opinion being understanding to panic selling. I not sure if all of us here had been one of them before, but I'm sure most of us did.

New people in the crypto area tend to panic and start selling their crypto. The problem with these people is that they don't know the fundamentals backing crypto and mainly bitcoin. Whales sell their coins from 18.000 to 5900 dollars and many of the people who panicked did sell their coins. What whales are doing, is buying them back for a really low price of 5900 dollars and up. Wow man, 60 times is really a lot. I saw it happen just a few times from 2014 when I have discovered cryptos but I am already starting to realize the same.

That's right, why panic and sell if you only lose if you bought your crypto for a higher price. You must have been really scared, if you sell and even lose. If these people who sold for a price around 6-7K, had only holed, they would not have lost as the price is already increasing again. So, just keep the faith and hodl.

People are freaking out because most have never experienced this type of drop before. I mean it dropped 50% in value (along with most alt-coins) so obviously people would be panicked. I agree with you though, BTC has been consistent so far in gaining back all the value that its lost so all the losses that people take are paper losses until they sell.
