This is because of the FUDs spreading in the internet and in the NEWS. Another reason maybe considered is that the China government already took action which may shock anyone living in China. China already implemented the total crypto ban.

Because Bitcoin has so much negative news lately, some are real and some are fake, but we do not recognize it, so many people are panicking, selling their own coins, and some whales are selling, so they are all red But I believe this will not last long.

I think why is the altcoin going down because of the people who want bitcoin destroy they spread a fake news about bitcoin. And the people who read the fake news they imidiately start selling their bitcoin for the cheap price. After this big dump its has another big pumo because whales are not using panic selling but its panic buying they buy bitcoin so its the reason for the big pump

I do not know the cause of altcoin down, but I suffered a loss of $ 680 it makes me disappointed and hope that altcoin prices start to increase again.

As what I had noticed, once btc is on down trend usually altcoins also suffer from this market crush. The positive side of this market crush may turn out to be a good side for those who would like to buy altcoins at this situation since price is still at its lower value. I just hope everything's will be in place soon so the market capitalization will come back to normal.

Altcoins are down because there are a lot of negative feedbacks about Bitcoin and when Bitcoin dropped hard, the Altcoins went down with it as well. But I'm sure once Bitcoins price is stable or at least increasing back, these altcoins will recover back as well.

No one can give you the correct answer, the value go down and this is the right time to fix our strategy again. Everything is possible and we don't have control about it, so just follow the trend and get out fast you can. Up and down is part of market and we only need to find the right time to buy ( in ) and sell ( out ). About why up or down just ignore it, it will make you stress. It's simple. Now the market correction after a prolonged price increase in autumn and winter last year. Prices can not constantly grow. Therefore, they are corrected. After correction, there will be growth again.

For me, the major reason why prices are falling drastically can be traced to some negative propaganda some evil people are passing around. For instance, propaganda about some leading nations in Blockchain revolution such as China and India banning totally Cryptocurrencies. Only this correction began in December. The price falls for over two months. It's a little long. Now it's panic sale, which I hope will soon be over.

FUD is just part of it, which is the tactics the whales normally use to get a good hand in the market. China governments on the other hand are just some lousy government that feels since they have the power, they can just always poke nose into everything that happens in their country while trying to frustrate their citizens. I do not see China as a problem, their noise at the end of it all will dwindle.

I do always believe, the red sign means, 'BUY US' 'BUY US'… There comes a time in the crypto life when all the market will give those who missed a previous chance another chance to stash up. Just see it as a moment of refueling before the takeoff to the moon. Look for good projects, buy more. This is just a general market correction, so you won't regret it at the end.

This down trend always happens during January until March first week due to Chines festival, they cash out Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies for their festival. Bitcoin and altcoins' prices are falling down because of some people who panic sell their coins maybe because of some fake news spreading about crypto currencies. There are some people who want to destroy crypto currencies that's why they are doing it, maybe because they see the success of crypto currency and they don't like it.

There are a lot of different people but I don't believe that several people can destroy such a large and powerful crypto currency system that already exists. The reason I think is that the same people themselves want to go into crypto-currencies and want to do it at a good price, for this they lower the prices of tokens with bad news.

From my point of view, the reasons not only came from the fact that China, Korea and some other countries have banned the transaction which used crypto currency but also it was a result of lunar new year holiday in China and  some other Asian countries.
