Time and time again our government thru the initiative of PDRRMC conducts regularly a drill for such calamities. All from the major cities are mandated to join from private institutions to government institutions. But i believe no amount of preparations can save us when the big one hits, only prayers will.Mankind is very small in the face of disaster, let us pray for Taiwan! It so sad and shocked what happen in Taiwan. I hope it will not happen or experience the earthquake. Let us pray in Taiwan that will all people there are okay and no more individuals hurt. These countries should take extra precautions and extra careful because they are prone to have strong earthquakes due to its geographic location. Residents must be ready at all times to avoid casualties and injuries. Let's all pray for Taiwan.
Title: Re: Taiwan earthquake Post by: esa2782 on February 07, 2018, 01:52:05 PM It is shocking and sad news, i hope taiwan will be ok and its people stay strong, eventhough earthquake is not something unusual for taiwanese but it is still a natural disaster and as we know from our experienced that sometimes nature just scary as hell. They have very strong building codes and regulations (just like Japan) and that might have prevented a huge number of casualties. But the problem with this particular quake was that the epicenter was very close to the densely populated Hualien City.

To be honest , it is quite shocking and sad sometimes you won't even notice that it happen because of the life is to short though , I heard the news when I'm at school give's me goosebumps though. And hoping and praying that the taiwan and all the affected countries will recover as fast as possible , and guys please don't forget to pray on our God that's all. I hope taiwanese people can get over from it immediately. Rest of the world must help those people. No one can stop it even superman or whoever members of super heroes. When earthquakes strike one place there will be destruction. What more if it was 6.5 magnitude? That was very strong earthquake. I think there are people who trapped in broke buildings. Hopefully they can survive because it is hard being a survivor. Yah. Let's pray for their safety and they will able to survive. I pray that they are also in a good condition even still missing.

The people of taiwan facing a huge problem so all the prayers for taiwan to recover fast , I'm shock to be honest and sad giving me a goosebumps , and hoping that all of us unite and help. Taiwan has many earthquakes that severely damage people and property. the largest earthquake in Taiwan 30 years ago. This is the country with the most earthquakes in the world.
