Title: Verge mining - data from Whattomine.com
Post by: WaveFront on February 07, 2018, 09:13:21 AM
Hello,
I am presently mining Verge (XVG) using the Lyra2REv2 algorithm.
From the data I am reading on whattomine.com, there are massive profitability swings sometimes going from 130% to 30% several times in one hour.
Is this normal? Is there a reason why there are such large swings in profitability?

Yes,

It's still a "tiny" coin so wild swings are the norm. That's the fun part of mining the new or small cap coins.

Its only cpu minable coin, when some big datacenter connect to mine profitabilty decreases, and vice versa
