If you have bought bitcoin or other coins at very high price than best strategy will be to hold whatever you have till price will recover to your buy price range and keep buying more coins with fiats you still have (if any) because you might never get second chance to buy bitcoin at current price of under $10k.

you don't have to sell, if you have to sell at a loss, that means you put more than you can afford to lose.

it is true that bitcoin has
 drastically gone down in value but its not a ideal to sell out my coin now because if I do I will surely run into loss  and selling it out to buy another crypto is not a good idea either but I will just hold on till the price rise up again then i can start selling out.

I buy bitcoin and altcoin in high price, if I sell it now, I will lose half my assets

See if you sell your coins in that condition then you will definitely be in loss but if you hold for some more time then it may also give you profit after some time. So be patient and hold them for some more time.

Well I never invest what I can't afford to loose so I'm always gonna be a holder and wait patiently for the reward. But when very bad things happen , I just get out and move on because there is no point to have faith once the project is declared dead or anything similar.

Bitcoin has two types of people using it right now. Speculators and investors.

Speculators fancy themselves as “market masters” that can predict short term movements and gleen profit from these moves.

Investors know nothing about speculative assets. They are hoping to get lucky and make some money on a long term rise in exchange rate. These people should buy some btc, put it on a paper wallet, throw it in a safe for 5 years and check the price in 5 years to see how lucky they were.

I react patiently, I never sell it at loss. I am not crazy.
My next step is waiting the market recover. If I think bitcoin found a support from a support zone I buy again, or I just wait and do nothing.

The best strategy we can do when the prices are falling is just hold,because from the history we can understand that the price of crypro currency will get back after the crashes.So just hold of you want to make profits or sell it for the losses.

I have taken out my Bitcoin investments only twice so far. It is my savings and I need not touch it for next years. I am sure that it will reach a million mark by that time and I am in no hurry to cash before it. Some of my friends who invested to the tune of $12000 ( six months salary), have withdrawn at losses as well.

The best thing to do would be to hold on to that money. Many people just sell their Bitcoins when prices drop even when they know that they are in a loss of they do that. Just hold on to it till the prices increase. They always do.

I think if you sell now it is a bad strategy. because it's not the time to do such a thing. and consequently you will get enormous losses. I think the right thing to do now is to wait for the bitcoin price to return to normal. and I think if you have a little capital then buy at the right time. you should really take advantage of moments like this.

Since I'm a long-term hodler I guess it doesn't matter to me. I had set my timeframe and goal, so basically I am not affected with this dip and I'll  just keep hodling. I treat this as a shopping time in crypto market, lucky those who had and keep a budget for this kind of mega sale ;D. I believe Bitcoin and the blockchain tech so there are no worries for me if it will continue to go down I know it will rise soon, just a bit of patience needed. For others, why cut loss? Remember that you won't have a loss if you won't sell you coins.

I will not sell bitcoin at this time when I buy at very high price, why I say like tha? Because every trading, all people don't let their money are loss, thought that's a bit. And there no more alternative way except hold bitcoin untill back to normal again. Just remind you, what's your purpose before you start doing investment in bitcoin? In early 2018, I invested in bitcoin. While there is only a fall. The price at the time of investment was 13,000 dollars. I will wait for recovery and growth.

Bitcoin is not what investors expect it to happen. But if Bitcoin I usually hold long term do not try to sell to reduce losses. Many investors have other options, as Bitcoin decreases, they will try to keep buying it to wait for it to return.

I dont need to panic when its crashed down because I know that it will recover soon .Holding my bitcoins patiently makes me matured of accepting that crypto is always flactuating and expect whatever happens to the price.

My only option is to hodl and wait for the value to recover again, im a long term hodler btw so seeing the value at this time doesnt affect me too much although im also curious how long could be the correction will last. Selling when in dips is not the answer to avoid further losses, its better to wait patiently. Thus what im currently doing is not to check the CMC often and let myself busy in my work.

My strategy if price of bitcoin goes decreasing, is to hold it until the market price comes back and to gain some profit of it. The best tool here is patience. Without patience all you can do is to sell and cut the losses.

The business principle and best practice is of course hold on to Bitcoin at such crashing periods like this until its value is being regained. for me the best thing to do in that situation is if you have bitcoin or other coin you first hold your coin and wait for the value to increase.Not all the time the coin value will be lowered. that's sure to increase.

I was fortunate to sell a good portion of my bitcoins at prices above $15,000, which allowed me to obtain enough funds to support a correction scenario as strong as we are living today, for quite a long time. Therefore at this time I am in no hurry to sell my cryptos at a price as low as the current one, and on the contrary, I am taking advantage of this correction period to buy some coins with a lot of potential that had reached very high prices and now I can find them quite accessible.

if i already loss a lot, i will keep hold it until get better price because bitcoin price always bounce. investing on other crypto will be more risk. it can go down too and what make it worse is if the bitcoin down more too

I prefer to hold when there is a crash. Just imagine, you have 50% loss of capital in investing and you know that sometime it will just rise up. Probably, you will hold your investment. If I am going to invest in crypto, I will put my extra earnings in order for me not to panic in selling when there is a great loss of price.

I think you should try to find a lot of knowledge about investing on crypto. there are many ways and alternatives when the decline occurs. not necessarily with the same pattern, only with confidence and knowledge. all things are always involved. collect a lot of data and analyze the situation and the market. then you will have an assessment and of course speculation.

yes agree, if you bought your bitcoin for 10kusd and  above you should hodl your bitcoin because if you will sell your bitcoin now you will incurred losses.  Just hodl, if you want really to sell it wait for the value to increase before encashing it.

If the value of bitcoin drops sharply I will not sell my bitcoin. Because I know bitcoin will soon recover the bitcoin sale will only make the bitcoin value go down. You need to trust and be patient with bitcoin. Maybe I will buy more bitcoin when the value goes down.

Because I believe that the currency, so if the currency is not up to 50 k usd, I'm not going to sell COINS, holding the currency does not necessarily focus on the price of every day, can be a period of time to look at, long-term investment certainly is much better than the short-term investments.

currently i'm trying to not be parts of panic sell because i had several times regretting my decission when i start to panic and sold all of my bitcoin then after that usually the price will start to climbing up so this time i would hold all of my bitcoin although today or tomorrow the price will decreasing because i believe my bitcoin will always be valuable

Nothing to do because decreasing of value is a part of investment and trading cryptos. I never believe in those spreading some FUD and always making myself calm all the time. The only thing that comes to my mind when there is a dump is to buy more coins as much as i can. Thats it!

I am going to hold my Bitcoin if that happens, and even try to buy if it drops really low.      If you strongly believed in bitcoin there is no other strategy you can do but to Hold if you don't want to lose what you have. Even you buy your coins during the time that the price is higher then suddenly it rapidly goes down,you don't need to worry just hold it and wait the time that bitcoin price recover. if the price decreases I will keep the bitcoin I have and I will not sell it because it will make me lose and maybe I can invest it for long term

If i buyed bitcoin then price goes down i will not sell it, I will control my emotions and prevent panicking because emotions are the one of the problems of traders that's why you need to control it just be patience and HOLD it just think that bitcoin value will comeback soon don't sell it if you see price goes down you will just lose some profits or your capital will lost.

Good thinking! Selling isnt an option when the price is down, instead its the perfect time to buy more. Or if you want to try another coin, you can buy , just dont touch and sell your btc or else you'll regret it sooner or later. Just think of it that Bitcoin needs a serious dip sometimes, for the investors to have a good entry point. Normally during the first quarter of the year Btc price will struggle and will bounce back in the middle of the year. Look at the chart From 2009 to 2017 for your reference.

No, i will not sell my coins now, i willl hold it this time. The price of many coins now is getting lower. I know all price will come back soon, all i need now is to wait.

Well this is how I coped in the bear market of 2014/15: I purchased some more bitcoin (which then lowered my average buying price). And I lent out the coins on Poloniex - I increased my stash quite a bit by doing that. Increasing your stash through lending has the same effect as buying more coins for a cheaper price.

The above strategy requires patience though - and not many people are prepared to be patient for three years...

I sold some of my coins in December when the market went crazy and I felt the rise couldn't be sustained.

I do not save bitcoin seriously!  ;D I am more on altcoins and buying them with my satoshi's . I managing them usually to set a sell order and stop loss order to make earnings. even if it is small but it still a profit . when price was decreasing I will sell and hold bitcoin roughly or convert it to tether and as the bitcoin go low low low dip I will use tether USDT to buy again and to increase my bitcoin holding and same as again buying more altcoin again and again

If this ever happen that bitcoin will continue to fall I will never convert it to fiat because I don't want to loose the value of it if I will convert it into fiat. Selling it at the lowest point is really a bad idea because we all know that one of this day bitcoin value will reach again the highest point of it and break the record last december.

the best thing to do but if you have the skills is to decrease your buying cost by scalping. If you manage to scalp everyday and decrease the cost and wait than for the price to come at your enter zone it would be awesome.

I think it will stay at a certain amount when the price drops happen. Just hold your Bitcoins its just normal for it to go down for a year or in months. It's just normal for every cryptocurrencies ever existing because of factors in the market that affect the value of these cryptocurrencies. Whenever there's a price drop you should buy then hoard then sell it when it is starting to go up.
