Nearly $24 on friday's close.  These didn't come out of the Spot+$1.50 bucket of your BST.  Fresh .999 in fresh packaging.

Those NWT mint bars sealed in the plastic look strangely like some "replica" product I've seen floating around on the onion. Not saying these aren't the real deal but you should be weary that those bars are being faked.

Seriously not trying to come off as an asshole/know it all, etc. Generic silver is generic silver. What isn't generic silver? Things like national bullion pieces (Silver Eagles, Libertads, Maple Leafs, etc). Where I work, the ugliest of 1oz silver bars sells for the same price as one still in the plastic.

And questioning things like the authenticity of an item are good, but they can also be damning to a seller. Bars DO come packaged like this from a variety of mints.

I beg to differ on the generic.  The ugly might be priced the same as the fresh bars, but if youre saying it sells the same, then I'll happily trade your boss a bunch of uglies for his JM, Engelhard, Sunshine.  Heck, I'll do that trade and 50 cents.

In the shop that I work, all the clean non-christmas goes out first.  Then mishandled and spotty ASE and CML.  The abused and ugly sits forever until it goes in a bulk deal or discount. 

Authenticity is absolutely good.  Can't prove that from a photo, draw your own conclusions.  If you want some more photos of them, let me know. I can put some other coin/bullion items in that prove I know my .999 from a hole in the ground.

In that they are square and shiny? I'm not aware of any fakes from that mint yet and I try to keep an eye on what's available.

I would just acid test one when you get it and call it good.

Those are counterfeit bars you linked, not rounds.  And the bars aren't ones I'm aware of being available as "replicas."

I'm not interested mostly because of the price being rather high. :)

Please accept my apologies, I realize now it's kind of unnecessary to point these things out. Someone needs to invent a cheap non-destructive method for testing precious metals... bitcoin is far superior in that regard.

Are you sure the are real Silver bars?
Looks exactly like the 2 fakes i won in a eBay Action some weeks ago.
Specially the plastic around it.

Some mints sell them with the plastic on to protect the silver, not that uncommon. Really the only reliable way to tell if they are real is with ultrasound. The acid test works somewhat, and the magnet trick only works with those who are very skilled at doing it. That being said, I'll offer you .20 BTC per oz for 25 Oz on the grounds that I am allowed to test them in a non destructive method before sending payment since everyone is under the impression they are fake, escrow is fine.

Its actually somewhat rare for 1 Oz silver bullion to be faked well. Every so often you will find someone who spray painted a lead ingot or something like that, however good fakes tend to cost as much if not more than the 1 oz of silver itself. That and the very heavy penalties for faking precious metal bullion, people don't tend to do it often unless its very profitable.

I like the Silver, but i want to test it first whit some tests.
Buying one bar first...if the test results are good, that will be posted here and i am sure you sell them all really quickly.

I received 50 oz of silver from xjack. He shipped first. I can say with confidence all silver received is 100% authentic.

Ingots are 29.4mm x 50.4mm x 2.38mm(rim) with low spots around 2.08. While hard to get accurate results, ultrasound came back in the 2mm range for silver. Weight is perfect

Rounds are standard 39.3mm wide and 2.8mm thick on the rims. Again, weight is perfect.

If you're looking for a test to verify authenticity of silver (gold, too), get a piece of slate, gently scrape the piece of silver on the piece of slate (little to no wear will be noticed on the bar). Use testing solution on the treads of the bar on the slate.

As promised - EDXRF Reports.

Disclaimer - This is not an independent report.  These reports were run by me, on the listed equipment which is accessible to me.  A few points:

1.  These are scanned laser printouts - I do not have access to I/O or internet on this machine, I can only print.  These look like they were drawn up on notepad - close.  These are direct output from the software to an editor.  

The only information removed or changed from the report is a header showing the company this machine belongs to, and a directory name which may give away the same information.

2.  This particular machine is used heavily in a shop environment.  There are always shavings and metal dust in the machine.

3.  The machine has two layers of mylar to shield from debris - silver is tested through plastic, and even more plastic on the ingots.  It absolutely affects the ability of the machine to read 100.00%.

4.  COV - Coefficient of Variance - the most important number on the report.

tl:dr  The machine gets worked hard and there's crud in it.  The results aren't perfect because of machine accuracy and the plastic in between the silver and the X-Ray.  I can edit the report before printing - I did not, else you would be reading these as .9995 fine.  The tests are consistent and repeatable, +/-1%, with a low coefficient of variance for the intended test metal - Silver.  

In light of two confirmed tests and one successful transaction, I rescind my offer to go first.  Known escrow recommended - buyer pays fee.  Repriced to align market and exchange rates.  Insured shipping still included.
