Base on the experts speculation recently that Bitcoin will reach  $50,000 before end of December this year, 2018 and as you guys will agree with me that increase in the market value of Bitcoin will lead to increase in the market value of Ethereum. Do you think ethereum will grow up to $11,000 before end of December this year. In addition to the speculation, i strongly believe that encouraging new investors will go a long way to actualize the growth up to the said amount. Do you believe so?

Buying at the moment is one of the major factors that will encourage the upward trend and not panic sell. I do strongly bbelieve same that ethereum will move very high before end of December this year. Thomas Glucksmann of the GateCoin exchange said and i quote "There is no reason why we couldn't see Bitcoin pushing  $50,000 by December" and if Bitcoin should increase that high there is a strong tendency  that ethereum will increase very well before December ending.

Anyone has a prediction that bitcoin will reach $ 100,000, then Ethereum's estimated price will be $ 10,000.
there is also a $ 50,000 year-end prediction, possibly Eth will be priced at $ 5,000.
Valid or not, we wait until the end of the year.

Ethereum looks very difficult to go to 11k value at the end of this year, but it seems impossible. That means the marketcap of crypto should be worthed some trillion dollars man. Any link where you read these so-called experts say that ethereum can reach $11,000k it is absurd especially when its blockchain is clogged up with so many transactions. It is also facing similar problems like from bitcoin, its miners fee is getting too high

nothing is impossible in the world of cryptocurrency, let alone to ethereum which is one of the coins that are worth to be taken into account since this coin has a pretty good price and will be developed for the future.

Ethereum as of now is increasing again.  Because last few weeks the price of ethereum decreasing but now it recover a little.  I don't think the price will become $11,000 before end of this year 2018 because I believe it will increase the price like $5000 in this year and the price of 11k dollars is possible to happen in the year of 2019-2020 so better to buy ethereum now to male more profit in the future.

Definitely if btc grows so high then eth and all solid coins will follow the price rise but to achieve these price levels market needs to attract big investors and the market cap should grow in trillions.

It is always good to read very well before you reply to a post and just not just trying to meet up with your campaign post count. ETH is holding its price near $1k even during huge dumps so I think yes it can reach that level but can't say when. By end of december if bitcoin will go to over $50k than $5k for ETH is possible not $11k.

Bitcoin cash and litecoin will also share marketcap with ETH so it will be hard for ETH to get $11k when BTC will be around $50k.

Based on my current data, ethereum will only reach maximum $7k at the end of this year. May will go to 3k, July drop and december will go to 7k.  ;D ;D ;D

It depends on how big investors and people in general adopt cryptos during this year. Total market cap of cryptos, after surviving recent FUDs and SEC being more pro cryptos, could reach historic values. We don't have to think as individual coins or tokens, but as adoption of blockchain technology. If that happens on a wide scale during 2018, the big ones (btc, eth, etc) will also reach values that we haven't seen before, and there's always the possibility that btc could lose its king position, and eth could take that place. 5k seems like very probable, but predictions are usually very inaccurate in this market.

That's the reality, because the growth scale is almost the same. When one drives forward the same moment makes the other move further. The same thing will continue forever and in particular more altcoins on ethereum support will push Eth higher which in turn will force the bitcoin to reach higher value contributing to the majority portion to the entire cryptocurrency market capital.

I think the highest price of ETH this year will be 0.18-0.20 BTC. So if the BTC reach $50,000, then it's possible.
But I don't think Bitcoin will be near close to $50,000 this year...

$11000 is impossible but if bitcoin can reach $100000 ethereum can get there. If bitcoin only can reach $50000 probably ethereum only can reach arround $5000 or maybe $6000 remember that when it reach $5000 we will see strong resistence because many people will sell it. I think they are impossible to reach $ 11,000 this year. ETH is the most potent coin today, but if such a high rate is not possible and there is no move in the market to push ETH prices so high. I think if ETH reaches $ 11,000 it will probably take 2 years.

Interesting guess, but wrong. Neither bitcoin nor the other coins can so dramatically increase, it is rather an exception. So make more realistic predictions. Bitcoin up to 15k, and the ethereum at the level of 1.5k, that's what I think the real things for the end of this year.

If what their model states is correct, then it would mean that ETH's price in BTC is 0.22 BTC per ETH.

That would cause the market capitalization of ETH to almost exceed that of bitcoin's, which is something that I do not see happening at all. ETH's price movements depend heavily on bitcoin's trends. ETH mimics the way BTC moves, and usually goes up or down quicker than BTC as well. I don't see BTC making a strong push for the all time high this year, let alone $50k. $11k is just way too much. Even 10% of that is pretty improbable for ETH to hit this year, imo. If BTC prices slip further, ETH will suffer even more. That's why I think $11k is just absurd.

To eth go to 11K it will have many hurdles so I think it is impossible in this year to reach that .. Afaik Based on the very poor situation in crypto stock recently .. Your numbers are way off, to begin with bitcoin is not going to grow to 50000 before the end of this year and even if that was the case there is no way ETH is going to grow to a price of 11000 dollars at most if bitcoin grew that much we will see a price for each ethereum between 4000 or 5000 dollars but as I said it is useless to think about those prices because that is not going to happen in this year.

I think it's likely that the price of Ethereum will not be able to rise that high before the end of this year. But I would like to say that it is quite possible until the end of next year.

Although ethereum is a very good coin and the price can rise higher than any other altcoin when the market recover but with the current situation of market and ethereum at low price, I doubt if it will reach this amount before the end of this year.

This is great if it does happen, but this time people just want it all back to 2017 because this is the best development stage of Cryptocurrency. Of course it can. The end of the year is just a time point set by the experts and the price only depends on the demand in the market besides some other factors as well. So if the demand were high, and the price was stable as well, we might cross the $1100 in few weeks. This is not about time; this is just about the moment of the market. The market price now for ETH is dependent now to the market price of bitcoin. For me it will be very very hard to reach that amount since 2018 for crypto have many price correction, regulations for some countries in crypto, and also the uneasiness of investors to secure their wallet from hackers.

I have to say that it would be impossible to reach $11,000 for ethereum. I believe that 2018 is not the year for crypto currency since there are many issues need to be addressed of. In my opinion ETh would be probably go for $1k only max because that price of ETH is very dependent now to bitcoin.

It depends on the jumps the market will have in the near future. We might get the desired value of ETH that is $10000 if we came to have a market like we had the last year. There are many factors that determine the prices and can be instrumental in taking the market back to the heights. $11,000 sounds unrealistic but maybe there is a slim possibility of happening. My target price for ETH this year is $2,000 which I think happens in the last quarter of this year. 

That's quite high IMO and how much bitcoin should be so ETH will reach that amount? Bitcoin at $20,000 made ETH $1,400 so there's a need for a massive pump for the market so we can see ETH @ $11,000 this year.

For this year, I am actually seeing the bears having a filled year and thinking of a very huge ATH for any market at this point is something I really would not consider. Maybe by 2020, who knows? For now though, I guess we will just have to see how things would be playing out for the whole market.

So far, bitcoin controls the market movement, and if we get to see some sideways to a slow upper side movement, then we may see the possibility of a huge bullish uptrend for altcoins, but $11000 is a long way to go before we start seeing the possibility of a further downtrend.

If Ethereum hit 11,000 that mean that Bitcoin will hit minimum 100,000. We are now near 7000 and it is very unrealistic that the Ethereum value hit the 11,000. Perhaps in the next years we can see that the Ethereum price will hit that space.

I wouldn't expect for ETH's price level to reach $11k by the end of this year. The insane price increase last year across crypto was just because of the hype that attracted many new investors who doesn't even do research before investing, resulting to a parabolic rise which was also the cause of the downfall that we're still experiencing. ETH will only have another breakout once Amazon and other big corporations announce the integration in their system.

I think that the max we would see ethereum hit this year is anywhere between 1500 and 2000 dollars. I sincerely hope I am wrong, and that it does hit 11k as I will be definitely buying a boat with those types of prices!

I think 11000 is too much for this year. Maybe 5000 will be worth it. We'll see in December. The market is very unstable.

Usually most altcoin follow bitcoin so it's kindda low chance for happening but yes in cryptocurrency , anything can happen !
Of course I'm also ETH holder expecting this will happen in the future but I think for rationally so it's difficult to happen !

Even 2000 dollars is impossible for ethereum, the market conditions do not allow for that kind of growth anymore, believe me I would like to see a huge growth as soon as possible but nothing gives any indication this is going to be the case, I could be wrong but when the indicators are so clear I doubt that is the case, so our only option is to keep holding until the day that happens.

No one can tell you that mate, but if it's true that the bitcoin price rise to $50,000 dollars before this year ends, it could be possible for ethereum to reach $11,000 dollars or maybe it can surpass the $11k. But it's still a speculation and there's no guarantee that it will really happen.

Demand, either due to real one or FOMO, it is actually something we can possibly see. I can imagine in that case though what bitcoin's value would have been worth. However, we should not forget that the same possibility where we get to see bitcoin hitting from about $1000 to $19800 in just a year, can make it possible for ETH to actually have the same push. That's realy unrealistic in my opinion,  last year price ATH price of the  BTC was around 20000$ and now the experts are predicting BTC price around 50000$ which 2.5X as compare to ATH price. All time high price of ethereum was around 1500$, so it may be possible ether will reach 3375$ at the end of the year when market will grown bigger as compare to december 2017.

If there is a global crisis in 2018, then let bitcoin and Ethereum have exactly the same price. It is the Global crisis that can push more investors to buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which will raise the price and increase demand.

the probability is very small that the Ethereum would cost 11 thousand it is necessary that bitcoin is worth 100 thousand. But this is not the main argument for the growth of Ethereum. We are now at the middle of the year and it seems that this prediction will not going to happen for this year as I did not see any good reason to make a bull run. I do hope that the price will climb higher maybe to reach the all time high again is enough for this year.

I really don't expect to see the price of ethereum before the ending of the year. If it reach at least $2000 or $3000, this will be great for me and many other traders, but I think even this values are very high for it for now.

This is something many people forget but that it is very important, ethereum has an unlimited supply of coins, and this is really bad if you are planning to use ethereum as a store of value this is the main reason of why I still have most of my money in bitcoin and not in ethereum, I'm sure that if the devs of ethereum put a limit to the number of coins the price will grow 30% to 50%.

I think so too. 11k is way out of reach at the moment. Even at 1k, it would be a struggle before we get to that amount again. However, it's something worth looking forward to. Everything is possible in crypto due to the volatile nature of all coins/tokens. But 50K by December seems extremely ambitious. There will definitely be some landmark increase in price by the end of the year but 50K will come as a big surprise to many and 11K for ethereum will be equally surprising.

I really don't know where y'all get these exaggerated predictions from. Speculators will always try to overprice a coin for their selfish aim. Personally I think if there's every going to be a bull run as it's talked about, we can see ETH reaching a new ATH of say $3,000.

There are many threads on this forum with Ethereum year end targets from $1500 to $15000. Nobody really knows what price it will end the year at. Even the $1500 low target will be a new all time high for Ethereum.

I completely agree with you, because even in 2017 we observed the maximum value in the region of 1,300 dollars. Therefore, figures with a larger value will be new in the history of pricing of the etherium.

It's hard to predict that kind of situation because as we can see the crypto market is fluctuating and we don't know until when the market will be like that. That's right,  there is no possibility it will go that far.  Realizing that we are half way in this year and Ethereum price isn't that near for $11k . I only speculate that it will reach into $6k again as is have a huge chances to catch. 
Ethereum have really in troubled of growing same thing happen into other altcoins and even with bitcoin price.  That's why it is pretty hard to go over and to have a bullish market again.

People gives those kind of predictions because they want to get rich with their very small holdings but that is not realistic unless they are willing to hold for decades, so if your holdings are small then learn how to earn more money with your job or in this market or learn how to trade and invest in icos to multiply your capital faster and to not depend in such a price for ethereum.

Anything is possible with ETH, if major ICO risk taking comes around once the market picks back up, I have no doubt we'll see a massive influx of money come in to eth due to the demand.

Your estimate is more realistic than ETH hitting $11,000 but then there is still the possibility since cryptocurrency prices always surprise us. A coin can increase even 20 times when we least expect it. If there is a catalyst that would trigger ethereum to go up there then it would happen but I think it would just follow what bitcoin does. If ever ETH is $11,000 then bitcoin would be multiple times higher than its price so we would be seeing bitcoin then around $50k or $100k?

i dont really think so, unfortunately the $11000 are too high for ethereum to be reached before end of Desember this year. yes we agree that ethereum has promising future, as the cryptocurrency game changer ethereum has deliver big positive impact to cryptocurrency, but many shitty project and coin use ethereum platform to issue new coin, there nothing special with this number of new coins. all we need is breakthrough useful and helpful project which can pump ethereum price.

I don't think ETH will reach $11k even in next 5-6 years. I think ETH will touch a high of $5k by 2022. There after depending upon the condition of market and news and the regulation put in place by government play a key factor to take it's price further. Also there are so many platform coming which provides the similar if not better functionality than ETH. True. There may be no limit as to what amount etherium might reach, but a value such as 11k might be trivial although it is a possibility. For me personally, such a forecast is a shock. Already there should be a bull market and huge growth of capitalization will start, which will reach a trillion by the end of the year. You can live with illusions, and you can really look and hope that we will pay off the losses that began from the beginning of the year.

The big problem for ethereum is that there are now many competitors that want to take its place and while for a long time people have been waiting for a killer app to appear in ethereum what it is going to happen if that app appears in another platform, ethereum is going to lose a lot of ground compared to that other coin, so while I think that ethereum is a great coin at the same time I think there is a chance that is replaced in the future by something better.

I don't think so that it will reach that much because with current Ethereum performance of $327 with more than 4  months left before this year would end then i could really say that only miracle could make Ethereum as high as $11,000. Even do Vitalik Buterin will be successful on his making Ethereum transaction speed upgrade but with only few months left then it will be impossible. $1,000 will be still possible for this year and much higher will be by next year of 2019.

Surely, that's impossible to happen. The market value of ethereum at this moment is below 500usd which is way far from the said target market value and it would be impossible for the market to have an increase as that much within a short period of time knowing that there are only few months remaining.

Nothing is impossible in crypto but $15,000 seems to be difficult to achieve by end of 2018. Perhaps targeting this price by end of 2019 is more realistic.

This sounds more plausible to me as well. I think the market will move a little bit by the end of the year, but I don't think it's going to move Ethereum to that height by then. More than likely it will happen sometime next year.

Actually, it's just an speculations that we don't need to take it seriously but somehow to imagine those prices could make us so ambitious which on that amount our investment could take too much profit. Actually, we can't imagine in some situation like that which could reach that kind of value, maybe we are too exaggerated  to reach that amount as we experienced today a downfall value of crypto currencies.

What a year for the crypto! What we thought and what is happening! After seeing ETH at 1500 USD on January, we thought Ethereum price will go more than 5K USD and someone thought it went to 11K USD! OMG! But day by day, ETH price nothing except decreasing! And there is no way to see ETH at 11K USD, even I can't hope it in my dream, It is impossible for the Ethereumk to be 11K USD coin.

Even if there is big rally into end of the year, $11000 is still a very high target for such a short time. $1000 - $2000 is a more reasonable figure.

I doubt that itreach the 11 thousand mark on or before December, with the continuous decline if tye ethereum market forecast site evaluate it as a bad invest for this year, some predictions shows that Ethereum can go down to 100 usd this year. All of these are speculation until proven.

I dont think Etherium price will reach $11,000 before end of this year even though bitcoin will reach $50,000. As you heard the rumor of Etherium going down  because of many ICOs dumping their Etherium to the exchange. It will go more than its current price but I can't see it going to $11,000 before the end of this year.
