Made some decent money chasing 5-10% pumps on coins that haven't recovered at all in the last couple days. I.e. NANO jumps 20%, I sell that off and find a coin that is still at 0% for 24H or has tracked perfectly even with BTC in the assumption that it's satoshi value should get a decent pump soon. So far I've rode NANO, AMB, ENG, and NAV for some easy gains, looking for the next ones.

These are SHORT TERM plays. All these coins have a ton of long-term potential obviously, but I'm only looking to sit in these 2-3 days max. My current picks are:

XLM: Hasn't gotten jack since the somewhat recovery. Huge meetup in Kuala Lampur on the 9th. Expecting this to get more than 10-20% in the next couple days.

OMG: Never really crashed, Satoshi value stayed near even and has just steadily climbed. Been middle of the pack for awhile and seemingly grabbing 5% every day or so. Hoping there's a big push at some point this week (tweet an update please!)

Then the big ones I'm hunting are the lower volume coins. These always seem to react the slowest to recoveries (please don't argue that this isn't a recovery, I don't care right now) because people are hesitant to go into smaller caps. But they also feature the biggest reward (see stuff like DNA/GMT today). My picks on these are:


XBY: Had an AMA today that wasn't anything special, but solid nonetheless. It's gotten about 15% already post crash, but I still think there's more in here somewhere, but might just be pure optimism.

MAN: Announced they were postponing new exchange releases to early March so this had a little dip. Way too good of a coin not to have a surge soon though I feel like.

NAS: Super shocked this one hasn't had a pump during the recovery, thinking it's mostly because of the Exchanges it's on. Either way, expecting the biggest pump on this one as soon as it catches on.

Anyone else have any other suggestions of coins that are still dipping?

Congrats on a good daily tradings. It is not easy, but you have nice results.

I made 25% (in BTC) doing basically the same with ICX.  It was one of the first to pump and hard too.

Nice strategy, Check out KNC, mainnet launch is coming up soon. It's actually done pretty well throughout the crash compared to many other alts but is actually down about 5% in Satoshi value since BTC started to recover.

What never fails for me is just scooping up the ones that drop the hardest of the big volume exchanges. They are usually the ones to rebound the hardest. When everyone is negative just sort for most negative and choose from that lot. I sometimes trade my ones that dropped the least for ones that dropped the hardest and then trade back when they rise.

Qtum and Monaco looks like they still waiting for bounce. Waves is too stable, imho it could move up in the nearest days. Xem imho already bounced.

ICX is a good train.

Elix is the very undervalued coin ever.
So many good work from the devs.

Agree, ELIX is still very cheap, under 50c.

Another coin I find to be still cheap and haven't recovered yet, or it's not pumped yet is High Performance Blockchain (HPB). The coin is still around 6 bucks.

MAN is on a super nice dip right now. Highly recommend.

SophiaTX is ~40% down still...

If you are looking for undervalued projects, i would suggest you to have a look at power, everex, storm, bitclave, ambrosus and cob, they are really gems and undervalued.

Icon and Request imo.

I would say Oyster Pearl , because they will have a big coin burn that will take place on 1 March -> and it will result in an instant price increase.

I thought to do this for a while last year, just for fun with less than even 5% of my bankroll in total but found that for every 3 or 4 coins I successfully "snipe" at 5 to 10%, I hold one or two that just continue to slide - I ended up more or less break even and just decided to stop that. Too time intensive, and I really don't want to go back to having to check my trades every 2/3 days or less. Problem is, not all coins act the exact same way, even if they do in long term seem to look similar (in charts).

Pretty much every coin is undervalued right now, the return to normal has been delayed so it looks like the sale is still on. Pick up any coin even bitcoin and you will see a nice pump after a few weeks or even days. For coins that are going to pump this month take a look at mobilego, they are going to release a new store this month. Also LISK is relaunching like NEO did last year so another pump there next week.
