Some are good. I prefer usb sticks for my smos. I prefer small ssds for windows. Same here. I'm using 32GB USB drives for smos rigs and 120GB SSDs for Windows rigs. I'd definitely recommend SSDs over HDDs for Windows systems. The time saved in reboots alone is worth it imo. Slim, tiny, less cords. 32GB for $25-$30 64GB for $30-$40 128GB for $45 No Brainer to me. Most of us got some spare 250Gb SATA hard drive somewhere and those are more than adequate. Flash drives are bad because they easily get corrupt and you need to reflash them. |
