How much will 1 bitcoin be worth in 2026/27?

Too early to predict the price of bitcoin price in 2027,because we are still in the year 2018 beginning and many people keep saying that this year will be the end of bitcoin.

But no one in the world really know what will be the price of bitcoin even tomorrow,so stop asking like these.

No one knows what the bitcoin price will be in ten years. Something between 0 and 1M$ most probably, but that won't help you much.

Even the creator of bitcoin can't predict bitcoin's price at that year. Satoshi also did not expect that bitcoin will grow this far the way we saw it today, so much expensive unlike before. It was like, no one can exactly tell what will be the future mate, so no one can give you an answer! And what's the point of knowing bitcoin worth at that year?  ???

I think for me no one know's what will happen next no one know's what will happen in Bitcoin in the future because for me i think it depends in the traders buyers and investors in the world no one can predict the value of Bitcoin only god knows what will happen in the future.

Yes, are you crazy? It was too far to predict on its value. To be honest even its price this year no one can predict. Bitcoin value was volatile and even expert cant prefict it. Thats the reason why all of us got shocked because of its value last year. We also didnt know if bitcoin was still existing on that year or not.

I think that other coins will overtake Bitcoin in both value and price within 10 years. Then again, you guys are right. We can never tell. Who knows, big payment gateways like paypal might even be totally replaced with crypto payment gateways like www.paybear.io.

That's 8-9 years from now so it could go really really high the price. I might consider believing that it will reach 1 million in all these years

No one can predict actually. However, based from my research and experts, Bitcoin has a huge potential in the future. It is because it is getting more and more accepted by communities. There are even new Btc atm made and countries that supports cryptocurrencies.

I do not know, but I can say that at the end of 2018 it will be $50K. Because you see how the price increased from 2014 to 2017. Now you think about, how much it might be worth on 2026-27.

for sure I do not know, but I'm sure that by the end of 2018 this could be 2x higher than the current price, especially in the year 2026-2027 will be many times the price, if I predict it now will certainly make me dizzy myself. if you want to hear the answer to this question. wait for someone to create a time machine, but if a possible :) because that year too far away, impossible anyone knows the price of Bitcoin in that year.

While we are free to speculate the price of a certain token or bitcoin, we don't also know if our speculations could ever be right or wrong. If bitcoin's market price will continue to grow like what we have witnessed today, i think, its market value per BTC this coming 2026-27 is around 100,000$.

None knows what will be the exact price of bitcoin after years. Users can just make wild predictions about the price based on the market movements. In my personal thinking I believe the price will be at least around $200000 by that time. Because almost every user will be aware of cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

I think IF it's going to hit $100,000, it will do so long before 2026/27.

People can't tell the price of bitcoin for the next day or even for the next hour so how could you expect from people that they could tell you about the price after 8-9 years. And why are you so worried about the price after the 10 years from now or i think you does not know anything about the bitcoin in depth and just wanted to post something in order to increase your activity.

I think one thing is for sure. In 2026, Bitcoin will be prohibitively expensive or totally valueless. If the gouverments and the bank dont start in the future to attack bitcoin and try to bring it down, im sure on this year it will be priceless. But if they do, bitcoin will die long time before 2026. So i hope it will be alive untill then and very valuable. So i can just give an advice to everybody to hold yout btc and you will see ;D

I guess that he's asking for your guys speculation not asking what prices bitcoin will be in the future mainly because it's the same as when people asking fortune teller to tell what will happen in their future, just if this could be done, then there's no poor people left.
However my speculation due to limited supply and mass adoption, could hit new ATH at least, above $30K but who knows. Even bitcoin's price could change within 24 hours drastically.

In 2027 we will have seen two more halvings and the reward for one block will be appoximately at three bitcoins per block.
And that is the reason why I belive that the price then will be higher than the peak we had in December.
I can't tell a number, but the shortage in supply will increase the price, of that I am convinced!

You are wrong about this.

First of all, government can only ban trading sites or centralized entities that interact with bitcoin. They can never actually ban bitcoin itself, as a blockchain. Since it is decentralized, they can't just put up a seized notice like they did with Libertyreserve or egold and then call it a done deal.

Bitcoin will survive, as long as there is enough people using it. That is a fact.

But the second point you made was excellent. Nobody knows but I'd say that we'll have a pump in 2020-2022 and another pump around the time of 2025 due to respective halvings. So price should be higher than what it is right now by that time.

We can only speculate about price in 2026/2027,it is pretty far away of the present,but my prediction is that price may be somewhere in range from 300 000$ to 500 000$.This is based on only 50% price increase from 15 000$ in 2018,and it is very realistic for me.Of course it can be a lot less, and much more than that which will depend on a lot of factors.

If demand increase over the years,and supply will for sure go down thanks to two halving(2020&2024),then is realistic to expect to BTC price be expressed in six-digit figures.

Estimating the price now for the 2026 or 27 is nearly impossible, Hey predicting the price 8 years prior is very impossible now that we have dip under $7000 mark value, But I think there is a pictograph about a prediction of how bitcoin price could go and it is only up to 2020 or 2021 only, Well speculation was about a $100,000 prior to that year.

I think bitcoin price will rise very much. Bitcoin in now new and there are many people will invest in bitcoin in future. So the price will rise.  But I don't think it will rise forever. The price will be more stable after most of people know that. So I think it is better to talk about the price in 2020. Because after that bitcoin price will rise smoothly same as other assets such as gold.

There is a high probability that John McAfee is right and the price will rise to 1m dollar.

Besides it will not really be a prediction it will be more like a wild guess, even predicting the price at the end of a week is proving to be extremely challenging so predicting the price several years in the future when there are so many factors that can affect it, things like adoption, the laws, the economic situation of countries, the health of whole economic system and the development of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

To be serious no one can ever predict it. Its like how is your life on that year?
How come that its good analysis? All in all its just a speculation and who knows if what can occur in bitcoins in the future that can affects its price growth. Nothing is sure and this is a hardest thing predicting future and skipping the short term span.

This is hard question because price in the market ever since is not stable. Even we give figures here that is only speculation. Year 2026/2027 is not near maybe by that year we expect of a very expensive rate.

1 bitcoin should be worth  $700,000 to $800,000 in 8 to 10 years to come and I think if this current bullish trends continue for some years then we expect bitcoin to be above even $1,000,000 in some years to come.1billion dollars you mean? I think this might not be possible because even in 50 years to come we might not get to that level. How will this happen? Did you have any analysis how this will happen? I don't think that  bitcoin is going to go over $1,000,000 and if it get above that it will means it will kill every other coins.

I think you didn't catch the sarcasm there dude. If you can't predict the price of btc in 2019, how on earth can anyone give you a decent figure for 8 or 9 years from now? Bitcoin may even be obsolete by then, who knows. Or mr. Mcafee may still have his dong and 1btc is worth more than 1million.

This is just hard to tell. We all know that Bitcoin is volatile so the increase on its market value won't be totally continuous. As such, fluctuations has a huge chance to take place within the period given. So maybe after 8 years, I think its value will reach 30000 USD, not as much as others are saying to be more realistic.

It's too difficult to imagine. Many can not predict the exact rate for a year because of too high a volatility. You just need to keep your coins and see how the profit grows.

I can not imagine it that far, but I think, that year, bitcoin prices are already very high, and all countries will receive bitcoin. as I know, every year, bitcoins go together, and the longer, the better.

That's an excellent answer! Btw OP, why on earth you're asking to know what the price of Bitcoin would likely be in 2026/27 ? I don't see where that's coming from and where it would probably led to and I seriously doubt if Nostrademous would have had an answer for you either. Somethings are really not worth the bother!

One of satoshi's famous remarks was that in the future bitcoin will be worth  a lot of money or nothing at all, and in my opinion he was right, bitcoin will change the way we conduct business and use currencies or it is going to fail miserably and the banks will keep doing business as usual and we are still not sure which of the option will become a reality but it is very clear which one I think is the most likely since I'm in this forum.

I always like to use the "known knows" of Bitcoin for long term prediction. So what are the known knowns of Bitcoin? The total supply (21 million) and the inflation rate (halving periods). With that data we can develop a predictive model:

Basically, a draft prediction is that as the blue line becomes almost horizontal, the price should be very high. Ideally, a long term position to get filthy rich should be 2036, but from now until 2027 the curve will decrease a lot so the price will be a lot higher.

It is rather simple... the supply is limited, but the unit can be divided as small as needed, so there's enough bitcoin for everyone, it's just a function of price.

Great chart, it is impossible to think of every single thing we do not know about bitcoin or about the world as a whole, so if we just concentrate on what we know we get a chart like the one you post, and the results are clear, bitcoin is going to be the best investment a person can do, even a small amount of bitcoins can be enough to change our lives if we are able to hold for long enough, this is what I have been telling my friends but for some reason they seem unable to understand such a simple concept.

Its easy to predict, but its a pure speculation. We talk too much years here and I hope everyone here can still enjoy lives that time. For now, lets focus on gaining more bitcoin and give at least 5years for your money to accumulate. There's no expert on this, no one can do that but I have to agree with Jamie Dimon I believe :D

the price will increase higher following with many people know about cryptocurrency and it will give an impact on supply and demand. and if the demand is really high, then the price will increase higher too. and for this year, we can see that many people trying to buy bitcoin no matter how much the price and if this condition is continued until a few years later then it will make the price increase high although we don't know how much the price. my prediction for 1 bitcoin in 2026/2027 is more than $30k.

Hard to say when we even don't know what is going to happen to bitcoin during the year that will past by before the year 2026 comes into. If bitcoin can exist during that period of time.

I don't know what is your purpose of posting this kind of topic but no one can tell you what will be the worth of bitcoin in 2026/27, it is too early to tell that and we all know that bitcoin is unstable so we don't know that instead of getting higher, bitcoin will just fall its price on that year. Let's just wait and see.

Essentially you are asking for bitcoin prices in the future. IMO you do not think too much about the price, we focus first course this year.
this year is also still a lot of questioning bitcoin prices will reach what number, this really becomes a hot potato! we improve the performance in this year so that in the future we will get an abundant profit.

Well its really pointless to try and predict about what the price would be this year or next year or years after that. All predictions are only speculations based on the how the one predicting understands it. And 8-9 years is a very long time to even have a decent prediction
